but i thought it was Raimondo who said there was no evidence that Huawei could produce Kirin 9000 on a large scale? And US used to be a decade or more ahead. Now Huawei's 9010S chip is only about 3 years behind.

This is some of the worst reporting I've seen from CBS "News". Stahl's questions are loaded with political messaging, like the loaded question that Commerce is not supportive enough of free-market capitalism. Many of her questions are dismissive and condescending.

No she is not. She is no different than Janet Yellen. Waving their finger at China because they actually were investing their money on their infrastructure and economy rather than expensive wars and occupations that only benefitted a very small few. Instead of telling another country to slow down their progress, that should encourage us to better ourselves. No one ever cheered on the athlete that threw a branch at another athlete just to win. This is no different. It was under Milton Friedman and the Neoliberal movement that spearheaded globalization, got rid of many of the unions we had, and found manufacturing elsewhere. She is absolutely right that the US withered their own manufacturing other than the MIC. This is what separates US from China. China literally has both the technological side that 1st world countries have, the manufacturing that we USED to have, and 1 BILLION more people than the US. Our leaders were and still are very short sighted and acted like Kings and queens as they partied, did whatever disgusting things they do in their private mansion parties, and treated this world like a giant chess board. The rise of China is good, because it’s made America sober up and realize they need to get their stuff together.

How does a former governor or Rhode Island with population of 5,000 people located on the far east coast know anything about semiconductors and how international trade works. It is like a fisherman knowing quantum mechanics.

Gina gave hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars to Kurt Schilling for a video game and then to a developer to create a stadium, we've seen neither yet. That's on top of cornering the new Mari Jana industry by making a family member head of the board.

God loves you and takes care of you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this great universe and has complete control over it. And the greatest loss that a person loses in this life is that he lives while he does not know God who created him, knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. The great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and then you have the choice to believe in it or not. I advise you on this now before you do not have time to do that.
