At a Texas fan, Murphy is a straight up Dog!!!! Idk if DT is a 1st round need for the cowboys but if he’s still there we gotta draft him depending on what’s left on the board

I think those are reasons he's higher than Newton on most boards. Newton fans argue he's more disrupted. They were asked to do different stuff. Murphy showing the abilities to take on dbls puts him higher to me. Because if either end up that good they will prolly get dbl.

I have watched his tape before, and he's got that forklift leverage combined with strong legs that knock O-linemen off their stance. He's exactly what Seattle needs to plug up that interior line, alongside Big Kat and Jarran Reed. Now with Nwosu and Mike Morris returning from injury, Jones, Mafe, and Hankins, the additions of Baker and Dodson in the box, and rotation guys like Taylor, Hall and Young along that line, the league's worst run defense should be able to avoid being embarrassed every week. I'd like to see them draft another safety, like James Williams out of Miami, or Jaden Hicks from Washington State. I'm also keeping an eye on where Max Melton (Rutgers) goes. And as for the offense, Seattle would do well with another center, and wouldn't go wrong with bringing in some competition at running back and tight end.

If he still at 24 that's who I'd love to see the cowboys draft

Only question I have is can he 2-gap? He’s a shorter(relatively) DT and I don’t know what his arm length is like.

I like how he protects his hips so he doesn't get moved! It's impressive how he gets itty bitty then explodes into his blockers and finds the ball carrier. I would spend a second round pick on him.
