My Dad was adopted in Sydney in 1954. His birth Family rejected him again when he found them over 20 years ago, he put on a brave face but I know it hurt him 😔 thank God for My Nanna Meree (Dads adoptive Mum) she was an amazing woman and he always knew he was loved and wanted thanks to her 😊

That had to be so gut wrenching. How dare they not have the balls to stand to him in his search as a then adult. That's just wrong. Even if they didn't want anything to do with him from them on they could've at least met and let him know his background story. Grateful he had supportive Nanna Meree!!
What a beautiful adoptive family and well adjusted child. They raised Martin well.
Martin's parents are absolutely wonderful. They gave their son a wonderful upbringing and gave his birth mother the peace she needed.
I started crying after seeing his adopted mom being so gracious sharing photos of him as child

What a wonderful woman she is! Sharing the son she loves with his birth mum. ❤️❤️
Martin's parents are wonderful human beings
The kindness of the adoptive mother!!!!
What a kind and loving woman his adopted mother is, she just reached out and welcomed his mother w open arms.
Martin is handsome. It’s amazing how easily this investigator found him, or at least made it look easy.

I LOVE this show. With so much heartache in the world, this show is uplifting and so heart warming. Thank you, to all of the wonderful people who are willing to share their stories. ✨💖✨

Good bless you. Sometimes young mums didn't have any choice. We live in a world that it's crazy. I am so glad you found your mum and you accepted her ❤❤❤
What a lovely adoptive Mum and Dad Martin has.
Missing out the growth of a loved one is the biggest punishment a parent can have..
He paid child support for a child he never was allowed to be a part of his life. What an injustice to both these wonderful souls.

In the US, child support is totally separate from custody or visitation because it has been used for too long as leverage/punishment of the custodial parent. However, custody and visitation cannot be denied to the non-custodial parent unless there is a provable reason/history of criminality or abuse. Even mental illness is not a disqualifier to visitation though if it is severe, visits may need to be in a monitored place. One parent moving out of state can also be disallowed by judges, even if the primary custodian is a professional or has an occupational or familial reason to want to leave. Be careful with whom you have children.
How grateful I am for these Beautiful hearted people that helped finding the lost loved ones!
Praying that ill find my son too. Was so overwhelmed. Bless d adopted parents for taking such good care if him. God Bless d mother n son fir d reunion n d adopted parents too. Jesus loves u guys. Stay blessed
I dont know why i watch these shows they make me choke up every time! ❤
He so handsome. Definitely his mom...
It was so respectful including Martins adoptive parents, I always feel they get pushed to the side when the biological mother come into the picture. Ambers dad said , " I knew i would find her one day", I hate to break it to you, but you never found her , she found you.

They found EACH OTHER... acquire some manners and respect dammit!!!
No child than also no child support. That kind of "mother" has to learn how to treat the father of their child. Children has the right to know their father.

Try this: my parents loved my sister more THAN they loved me. What you wanted to say is "No child THEN no child support"
With the last father daughter reunion, contact has “gradually diminished” - something didn’t go well afterwards. I wonder if he wanted to move in with them, wanted money or something. I remember one episode of an elderly father looking for his daughter and it ended up where she and her aunt, his sister, ended up having to tell him to leave them alone.

@gabe_2544 •Indeed same thing only my son was ten I had tried keep in contact with updates to his Father unanswered..We lived together 2 Years and he decided 💡we should have a child ultimately I was Naïve I thought that ,if you live with someone all that time they meet your Family and Friends (He is Sri Lankan ?An Attorney)I feel like a dodged not A bullet but a bomb 💣 a ticking one he made contact when I stopped my son was 2 years 6 Months..Having only asked for cards ?I have no regrets about it,they met at ten years old .It was not easy and not smooth sailing the opposite
I know how much I love my parents, but I was not adopted. I can't imagine what Martin feels, but I can bet that his adopted parents have nothing to fear because Martin loves them both as his mother and fathet. They are his parents. His love will grow for his biological mother in time, but she's a stranger to him.
He said his daughter look like him and he is right.
What a loving adoptive parents he got…. and he surely is a very kind sensible man…. Very lucky Anne❤️
Ann a nice lady . Glad she found her son.
I hope for families to stay in touch once they found their birth families. It hurts to know that after them finding one another then the connection vanished 😢😢😢😢
What wonderful adoptive parents! They were so generous and welcoming. Many may have been threatened by the birth mother seeking her son and desiring a relationship.
Oh my gosh I can so relate, so happy for u all. This is like my life story me being Martin ❤️❤️
I haven't seen this whole thing yet, but I really want to be able to reach through the screen to hug Ann. Her heart is so broken. I can only wish her peace, acceptance, and love, for the rest of her days!
I wonder if Martin Hall's biological father knows that he even exists? Wouldn't that be a surprise for him.

Amazing stories with beautiful endings
Thank you so much for putting up the full episodes!!!!
Oh God it makes me so emotionallllwith the sweden guy and mom
Please use the word relinquished not the phrase, “ given away”. We as adoptees are not objects but people. 🌷 God bless these people. Finding our identity completes us in order for us to feel an innate belonging in such a big world 🌷
Stories like this are heartbreaking for me, I tried for years to find my mother's child she gave up for adoption, mom never got a reunion like this. Maybe someday I will still find her.

If you haven't already, take an Ancestry DNA test as well as one from 23 and me. Those are the most popular commercial DNA tests. If your sibling ever takes one of those, you'll find them (if they're receptive.)

I was adopted and found my sister through 23andMe. I had previously looked for them but they never stopped trying. I missed meeting my mom about a year after she passed and my dad had already passed. I now have 7 siblings and am a great aunt at the age of 39 😂 Don’t give up!
This episode is what LIFE is about!!❤
Im addicted to this show and I absolutely love seeing kids being reunited with their parents. The host of this show gets to travel all over the world which is pretty amazing in itself. It would be very awkward tho meeting someone after 30 years and one thing Id be wondering is why didnt you look for me sooner. I do know sometimes money or life in general can play a hige role in why someone wouldnt look sooner but id still be wondering
Happy to see the Fathers being acknowledge, it's always mother and child.

Great episode and brought tears to my eyes. On the offchance does anyone know what song is playing at 33:20? Thanks :)
It breaks my heart to see stuff like his taken place bless this dog to good care 🙏 Thankyou
What a Heart-rendering story... What a terrible time this poor lady went through... Hope she learns to forgive herself firstly... She cld've aborted the precious life... Bravely carried on... Godspeed to her... And fine son... He looks SO much like her too... What a cute chubby little guy he was as a child... Adopting parents were adorably lovely...
All I kept thinking was his mum looks like Jamie Leigh Curtis.
See what a blessing it is to put a child up for adoption instead of abort your baby. She now has two grandchildren and a daughter-in-law along with his parents. If you're pregnant consider an open adoption so you can pick the parents to know who your child is going to. Love a child is better than taking it's life. If she would have taken his life as a unborn baby those two grandchildren would not be here either.
I am wondering how you happened to choose this amazingly and blissfully professional adventure
How wonderful of you to have given that child his life! So wonderful. You are an angel. I really really am against abortion now not for severe severe cases but for all these girls that are just using it as a birth control system. I praise you praise you I appreciate you brought that child to the world how wonderful thank you
Love the show
Bless you x x
why did Nicky stop contacting/ seeing her dad after seeing him, gosh!!!!
She didn't abort her baby, and I hope her son understands her decision, and wants to meet his mother.
Abandoning your child is one of the hardest things to do and it's a testament as to how much is wrong with society that there can be circumstances that force you to do that. Do you ever recover from something like that?

Giving a child up for adoption is as far from abandoning them as you can get. (Granted, it does happen sometimes.) I can’t fathom anything harder. I have so much respect for Moms that have the strength to place their baby up for adoption. I am not that strong or selfless. As a Mom to 3 bio, 1 bonus, I am eternally grateful to my bonus babes bio mom.

Amber is interested in the Maori culture bcs it is what she is , deep down to the genes . We all are built by everything our ancestors were before us.We carry inside ,just about everything from our history. Family Constellations is explaining how things work and should be. It is also a valid healing method that has helped countless people worldwide.

Where u from
❤ it that it works out!
What I find so ……different from the way that I would be…..is that…..if it were me that had been FOUND, I would have immediately been RUNNING towards them ! Certainly not standing there stoically ….watching the person walk towards me. Or really, no matter what end I was in this…..my immediate response, once knowing I was willing to BE met…..was to RUN towards them. However, in each of these videos I have watched, there is always this very slow walk from the seeker and a stoic standing still of the sought after. My mind, heart, and emotions just do NOT compute with ANY of them. ANY of them.
The biological mom looks like Jamie Lee Curtis.

What kind of agency does a person contact as detectives ? Ballpark, how much does it cost to have a full fledged search ? My guess is that a person would need to be rather wealthy to have a full fledged search that could spread over continents.
