I LOVE these, Marc!!! Great choice to carry them in your lineup. Truly beautiful microbrand watches! I definitely want one!♥️♥️♥️
These look really sharp, I'll definitely add this to my wishlist. All the colors look really top notch.
Thanks Marc for sharing. Some nice looking summery watches. Great seeing micro brands displaying individuality and charm instead of the endless march of Sub homages in general.

My pleasure!
Great watches for spring, summer wearing casual clothes (shorts & Tee shirt. khakis & a polo shirt, etc.). Makes me think of vacations on/near the water, or exploring coastal towns.
Color combinations are crazy.. By crazy, I mean awesome.
Love the colors and being able to rock a MA based business. Nice selection!

I really like these micro brands, Marc. I would go for the orange dial.
These are really fun.
I wouldn't have tried orange and teal, but damn!, that works so well!!.👍
Those are nice. Great choice for guys who like more colorful watch options.

I agree that it is more symmetrical to have only the 12 and 6 numerals. I like the look.

😍 The version with orange bezel/blue strap looks georgeous! Would love it more if the dial would be the same color as the strap. 😉 Size is decent, 20mm lug is a bit small for my taste (prefer 22) but the strap is amazing. NH35 choice is a solid choice!
That caseback detail is sharp af.

I'm in love with the orange-blue colorway... Sucks that a lot of the microbrands aren't available in Indonesia. :(

Now I need to somehow divert about $1500 from the family Christmas fund because they all look great. Actually, the price feels right, compared to brands like Shinola which easily charge 3-4 times more for something equivalent. Great find.
Would love to see some watches with RED dials! Everything out there seems to be black, blue or green and the ocassional orange.
@balesjo

Closest I have that has a subtle red to the dial is my Seiko Presage Cocktail watch ('Negroni') that looks almost black but at an angle in bright sun or room light the red comes out. I love it and it does elicit comments from people.

Mental for sure.
hi mark - would you say many of the micro-brands are designed in the USA, and assembled from parts sourced around the world? (or maybe designed in USA, and fully mfg. and assembled elsewhere) just curious (as a bicycle guy, i know how incredibly difficult it is to do a full US in-house bicycle, and watch has to be at least as difficult )
Sales? Now we´re talking!
great great great now when is the next round of red octobers going to be released 8-P all kidding aside very good looking beach watch especially the light blue and orange. cheers M8s!

Bit of a delay, but working on it.
Beautiful - but it's another case of a name and design that speaks to a more robust water-resistance. When it speaks to "Seaborne" and "Sea Venture" I feel it needs a 200m. And before someone jumps in with the standard "No one will go that deep from their desk" comment, I realize that the 200M is usually a placebo for most, I still look for that rating in a tool watch.
Beautiful watches, not so much into that type of strap. Good looking, yes!
There are two people I trust in this world: Alex Trebek and Marc from LongIslandWatch.com. And now Alex Trebek is no longer with us.

Orange colors are too loud for my taste, but otherwise look well made. Not a bad deal for a microbrand.

Really digging these. Would a 20mm metal bracelet work on these?
@islandwatch
3 жыл бұрын
Straight end, for sure.
I really like the colorful ones in this series, but $369 feels like too much for an NH35 watch with an inexpensive strap. Maybe this is because it's more expensive to run a business in the US, and if that's the case I'd like to hear some details because I might be more supportive. I have to say I'm thinking about that orange dial one... However I do love seeing more microbrands showing up on LIW, I hope to see that continue.
I think I'd prefer a white date window instead of reverse on this one, for symmetry's sake, white rectangle on the 9 - white rectangle on the 3.
Very attractive, but kind of in the middle of a pretty crowded field for basic microbrands with a basic movement.
how do you know that you were filming at a different time that you usually do if you did not have a watch on therefore you don't know the time.

I don't know if I agree with the $300 thing. There is so much that goes into constructing a watch. Even engineering proper lug holes costs money. The sapphire crystal adds almost $100. You want to reduce QC on everything else just because nice glass was added?

@@vizuz i hear you M8 but your analogy just goes to prove why you dont need the extra 100M. ALL cars can go faster then the speed limit but you will NEVER do the CARS top speed even though it can that would be beyond your capability. case in point yes you can dive up to your ability but you will NEVER dive 328 FEET. and if by chance you are a serious diver why the HELL are you still using a wrist watch?!? no modern serious diver EVER would. i Personally own a GT3RS and have quite a bit of track experience i i have yet to hit my cars top speed nore do i think i ever will due to the fact there is NO place in the US i can hit it. but thats another story. cheers M8!

@@jackpreston9435 a 100m water resistance doesnt mean it can actually go to 100m depth. Its likely way less than that. Anyway, there are lots of dive watches at this price point that go to 200m. So why wouldn’t i pick that one? I guess if you only care about design and not functionality of the watch. This watch looks like its made go diving with. Theres a strange cognitive dissonance inside of my that just refuses to wear a dive watch you cant actually dive with.
