Have you tried any woodworking projects? How did it turn out? I am really learning to respect the craft, the more project i try.

I made a new crawl space door. I did use the table saw to roughout the parts but then switched to hand saws and chisel for the mortice and tenons. Great video!

I had a hardware store for fifty years. Had a summer place growing up right on the bay and then a house on a creek off the bay, all salt water. We always used bronze screen wire some call it copper. It cost alot more than what you used but it is still there and I am in my upper seventies now. If you’re young and can afford it it’s worth it in the long run. Nice job, especially on the doors!

Hi Sam, thank you very much. Yes, with the exception of the planer, I have aquired these tools over the past 10 years or so. For planing, many lumber yard will provide this service for you as an alternative.

Hmmm... I finally followed Ann's advice and took Woodglut. It's great for beginners and has some advanced stuff too.

I did it myself with the Woodprix plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.

Awful lot of tool for a beginner's guide
