Ed is now running around the kitchen for 24 hours due to a sugar rush!!

As a sleep deprived mother to a toddler and a baby I feel I need this in my life just for a mum treat 😅

Yes!! This and a coffee will perk you right up. Sleep will come again I promise! But oh my days while you’re in the trenches it’s so hard. We’re just now starting to sleep through the night a few nights a week and I have a nearly 3 year old and a 14 month old xx

This brings me back, my Mum used to make this for us!!

@@mumthings I did, 😍😍 And surprisingly I made a half decent batch. Certainly will get well used in the house, 😂😂xx It's not something I'd ever considered making in the slow cooker.

Ahh I had this In Kelso and boy was I on a sugar high for the rest of the day!, your right it’s very very sweet. Why do you Scot’s love sweets! I do love your cakes lol. I tend to fill my suitcase as we fly from Edinburgh to Amsterdam then home to Tokyo. And yes I’m bloody annoyed about jenners shutting down!!

Thankfully half of it disappeared at his work within half an hour 🤣 thanks, for some reason the dye keeps fading from my roots really quickly 🤦🏻‍♀️ xx

Definitely give it a go! It’s dead easy, the hard part is just finding a day when you can be on stand by to stir it every few minutes for that long xx

It’s very like fudge but with a drier, more crumbly texture. And you don’t typically see it flavoured like fudge is xx

Oh I love, but can't keep it in the house. I'm more a fan of savory foods, so eating out, I'll choose a starter ahead of a desert. However, if its in the house, I eat it until its gone and suffer.

Claire I dinnae want you to panic but someone have absconded with the trays to your air fryer. On a side note, I live in Edinburgh and have developed a not so mild addiction to tablet, (alongside haggis suppers and Scotish breakfast, Full English just does not cut it for me anymore) which might explain my type 2 diabetes lol

Close! Scottish, English and Welsh. No Irish (that we know of). Poor lad burns like kindling in the sun xx

My brother made tablet many moons ago and it was delicious. But unfortunately it was brick hard and you had to sook it as it would have broken your teeth. Like a tablet gobstopper.
