@@lroman2966 cannnot disagree. It is only the fact that after the surgery, he had to take more care of his voice, thus giving up the extremely high, distorted notes. Other than that, his clean singing became even better after the surgery!

Klaus is absolutely untouchable, nobody compares. Dio, Gillan, Mercury, no one was even close. Klaus is extremely underrated singer.

Before surgery Klaus had a grit in his voice that kind of disappeared. But amazing singer before and after! My idol in the last 40 years…

I'll never understand why, at least here in the US, he isn't considered anywhere near their company. Maybe it's the ballad aspect of Scorpions where they got pigeonholed here as sap and not taken seriously as contenders.

This is the first time I’ve seen this video. My cousin and I were at this show and we still talk about it to this day. The lineup was Def Leppard the scorpions and Ted Nugent it was probably one of the best concerts I have ever seen in my life. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
