I'm surprised that Ghoul School never had a spinoff series considering the huge following the characters still have. I really want a spinoff with these girls! It was really nice to see them get the spotlight again on OK KO Let's Be Heroes with their original voice actresses returning.

Ghoul School is right up there with Zombie Island as my favorite Scooby-Doo movie, and Sibella was my favorite of the ghouls, though I liked all of them (Tanis was second-favorite). I really wish we could have gotten a spin-off for the ghouls, even nowadays. How did Hanna-Barbera not realize just how much potential they had in them? At least they are a kind of early prototype for Monster High, even though Mattel and HB never collaborated or anything. Still, I’d love to be in the timeline wherein the Ghoul School got their own successful series, complete with dolls and merchandise!

24:19 yes the best part of the movie got mentioned. The voice actor who came up with the Sha-gee line is an icon and deserved to get brought back in future episodes/movies, but Dracula has been missing since the movie aired. Though I am curious if he ever does come back if Gookie will make an appearance as well, and how they’d play that off if the rest of the gang is there. Out of all three movies I like the Reluctant Werewolf the most. Ghoul School now reminds me a lot of Monster High. Ghoul School is also a great movie, Boo Brothers kinda fell flat on me.

Growing up I have seen all three movies, Ghoul School being my favorite my vote for best ghoul was a three way tie between Sybella, Tennis, and Wennie. They each had moments where I really loved them so I had a hard time deciding. Elsa and Phanny were fun as well. I honestly wish they would bring the ghouls back, maybe in a movie, yet with how they handle Zombie Island and the 13 ghost sequels the people making it would do a poor job. Plus we would need Scrappy to come back still makes me mad he wasn't in the sequel for the 13th ghost. as for the movies Ghoul School was always my favorite, Boo Brothers second and Reluctant Werewolf last, mainly because when I was little I didn't understand why Dracula just didn't let Shaggy go, their was a smaller werewolf creature already there, just give him a car and there you go. Unless he wasn't a werewolf he looked like one to me. Boo brothers had filler but it still had that creepy atmosphere that I loved hence why it was my second favorite. It would be cool to see the Boo Brothers come back. I did like Googi, a weird name but she was fun, I only just now realized she plays Velma in Zombie Island very cool. Really sad to hear about Wennie's voice actress, just so sad. The movies were a fun time and this was fun going through them. I hope you do more scooby movies or episodes. Thanks for the fun video and keep up the good work.

Shaggy has at least two super wealthy uncles. I don't remember which iteration of the show it was, but somewhere in the original continuity they visited his uncle Shagworth in _his_ mansion and foiled some non-supernatural criminals' attempts to steal _his_ family jewels.

I owned Reluctant Werewolf on VHS, and watched it all the time. There's a moment when the commentator of the race says, 'The cars are neck and neck...I mean Wreck and Wreck!' which has stuck with me. I also like when they are told they can order anything from Tomb Service, 'except for Angel food cake!'

I actually had a quick pitch idea for a movie that brings back the Ghoul School, “Scooby Doo, Back to Ghoul School”, basically the gang is investigating a monster (idk what monster exactly) at what looks like an old school, unaware that there seems to be something or someone lurking in the shadows. As they split up, Shaggy & Scooby are terrified (as usual) but as they look around they begin to have a sense of familiarity with the place but don’t know why. The first appearance of the monster will appear leading to a chase but aside form the Scooby gang there seems to be another group running around. The case leads to a crash and as the chaos settles, the Scooby gang thinks they caught the monster under a fallen curtain, they pull it off and reveal, not the monster, but the Ghouls. The Ghouls, Shaggy & Scooby recognize each other, have a wholesome reunion. The ghouls explain that after school, they started their own mystery solving gang with each ghouls having their part and Matches back as the Scooby of their group. The ghouls explain they’re investigating some monster that has apparently kidnapped Ms.Grimwood. I don’t have an idea for the rest but, I think some others if the original characters can be brought back, and can have maybe Velma at first be in denial but then go full nerd on researching the Ghouls. But yeah, unfortunately this probably won’t happen cuz the writers don’t want to have the monster be real even though right now would be the best time to do so with Monster high being back and thriving as of rn. But one can only dream

The Boo Brothers was my first ever Scooby Doo movie back in the late 90s. Up to that point I had been watching the original series any time it would come on TV, but I had no idea there were movies until my mom bought me one while running around. I think I still have it somewhere. I used to watch it so much as a kid, I'm surprised the tape ribbon didn't break from how many times I rewound it.

I had those movies on dvd and i remember really enjoying them as a kid. I think it was just that they really stood out being very different from other Scooby-Doo movies i watched. Boo Brothers indeed are also my least fauvorite i think. I remember i enjoyed the treasure hunt aspect of it but its just wasn't my fauvorite. Ghoul School and Reluctant Werewolf i really loved tho. The wacky raceresque comedy of Reluctant Werewolf was super entertaining for me, and Dracula was such fun villain, i really liked the takes on monster's vehicles too (i think this movie was perhaps first time i got introduced to Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde). Ghoul School might be the fauvorite tho, its just so charming with all the characters being really enjoyable and designs of the girls being so great. Also i remember as a kid i was kinda annoyed by the trope of "character eats something and they clearly enjoying it until they find out what it is made of" so i always liked how at some point Shaggy and Scooby just start to like food at the school

The Reluctant Werewolf was my little sister's favorite but that was really only because she thought it was funny how much the way Dracula days "Shaagiee" annoyed our dad. Yeah, she would force us to watch movies just to annoy us. Her actual option of the film was that it was too long and kinda boring.

I love the Ghoul School the most! It has so many wild tricks and fun themes. I like the Grimwood girls a lot too and I think Both Sibella and Phantasma are very fun characters. Reluctant Werewolf is certainly my second favorite. It has a lot of powerful story energy and I certainly want to watch it again at some point! I actually sort of like the idea of Shaggy having a girlfriend and if nothing else, Googie was a fun experiment. Boo brothers was okay but it definitely felt like it was crammed with Filler to me. Very good job covering these stories and I also agree that in these movies Scrappy came out way better and was a perfectly fine character. I look forward to seeing more from your channel, now that I have joined the subscriptions!

I would say that my favorite of the three is Reluctant Werewolf, certainly it was the one that I watched the most. For me I did just loved the concept of one of the gang being transformed into a monster. I also loved the race being a fan of Wacky Races, so I found it awesome to see the various cars and the different methods they would use to get ahead. And being a fan of monsters in general i loved how this was such a monster mash, even more so then the other too. Also I do agree, Werewolf Shaggy was very handsome. I would be lying if I did not list put on my list of crushes growing up (oh the odd childhood of a gay dude LOL!) Ghoul School is my 2nd favorite only just barely missing the top spot. Revolta was a good one of witch villain and it is a shame that it took so long for the Grimwood Girls to make another appearance and not on another Scooby Doo show/movie (sigh)

These movies where on a lot on Cartoon Networks cartoon theater back during the Channel’s golden era. Reluctant werewolf is such a strange movie. It futures Shaggy having a girlfriend we have to seen before or after,Shaggy is braver than usual here and even tells Scooby monster are not real in the beginning and we never see the usual gang. It’s like it’s set in an alternative universe.
