Pacino and O'Donnell. 2 amazing actors.

This is one of my favorite movies from the 90's. The story line was interesting and the acting was impressive. Al Pacino deserved his Oscar, he was unbeatable but I would give an Oscar nomination to Chris O'Donnell. He was great as well. I wish Gabrielle Anwar's Donna had more screen time. She was so beautiful and charming. Brilliant movie

I don't know how I managed to get out of most of the movie without breaking into tears, but this short scene was the one which broke me finally.

I simply love this movie i saw this movie about 50 times and every time I learned something new from its dialogues.

He's a man who learns how to "measure" his dark: it's just accepting his own lightless world that he can love and get love and perceive the reality better than a sighted person

Agree with Sterling above. Does singleness suck? It absolutely can somedays. But if youre single it also doesnt mean every chance for joy has been denied you. Oh it definitively feels that way on the bad days but you dont have to be in a relationship to enjoy music, art, sports, the feel of the wind, a good swim. Find joy in the every day and selflessly help other expecting nothing in return. Brighten the corner where you are. And then even if no one comes along you’ll still have lived a rich life. Or thats my take. Id rather die single than marry someone who makes me miserable
