she's right. it's very easy to make the voice very neutral and doesn't sound like a specific person, but the company "choose" to make it sound like her after she declined the offer to be the voice

The reality is Open AI recognized the likelihood of losing in litigation that's why the pulled the plug on Sky's voice. I myself don't think they sound that similar and if her closest friends truly cant tell the difference, that's just sad. ​@@elmegapeluco

I don't think so, either, though I admit, I'm not familiar with her voice, at all, I've never watched any of her films, but just from the clips of her they played, I didn't hear any similarity, the AI just sounded like a plain American woman, to me

They sound similar in the fact that they share pitch and maybe similar baritone features, but they don't sound identical to me.

It's a sexy, deep, highly modulated voice. But the similarity ends there. It does not sound like her and there is no way to confuse the two. No matter what you think of OpenAI you can't let an actress claim ownership of an entire category of voices. That makes no sense.
