Instead of just enjoying the music, people discuss way to much about the singer / singers. Useless to compare..they're not the same nor will they ever be. I like the old singer as well as these two guys.

Damn, Per Nilsson is just one of the best soloists EVER in metal. I mean listen to every song they've made, EACH ONE HAS AN AWESOME SOLO (with good taste).

Holy shit, this song is completely amazing. These guys are good, I hear so many people say Christian is better. And yeah he might be better, but people these guys deliver as well. You gotta give credit where credit is due. Keep thrashing SS!

I will always like scar symmentry both christian and the new guys are great. This song is a prime example of why i like this band even with out the old singer they have a great melodic sound to them and the band just makes great songs.

I agree, I hate all the whiners who say Christian was better on vocals or the new vocalists Roberth and Lars are better than Christian. I never even knew Christian had left the band until Unseen Empire was released. The new vocalists together sounded similar to Christian.

Senythril I was worried about how the some of the albums would turn out, but when I bought this album I was blown away as all their previous albums.

I am glad that two good bands came out of this! I can listen to scar symmetry and solution .45 just depending on who I feel like listening to at the time lol

I'm new fan of Scar Symmetry, i like songs with Christian but this is the one which makes me to listen it again and again... unless looking at the video :P

I'm pretty sure he was asked to leave due to creative differences or something like that. But I'm actually glad. Now we have Scar Symmetry AND Solution .45, Christian's new band.

It's a matter of preference. Christian was a man with some of the most amazing clean singing I've ever heard. I wouldn't call his vocals metalcore at all. But I don't know why so many people hate the new guys. They're very talented. Different, sure. But talented. And at least they'll be able to pull everything off live!

They have to give in to the inevitable cheesiness of the metal vid.

The Unseen Empire fucking rocks!! The best album made by Scar Symmetry ever!! The two vocalists make the most amazing duo ever heard on that awesome album.

I really hope that they will sing these songs better live than the old ones like we can see on the live videos. I didn't think after those they can sound as great as this, but this level must go in live too. Good luck for them.

I am actually quite impressed, I think they managed to pull off the transition. My favorite part of SS has always been the music and the crazy melodic guitar runs that they do. Christian left SS because the constant touring was taking its toll on his voice.

The music is amazing as usual. So now we have 2 great bands to listen to, Scar Symmetry AND Solution. 45

I'm going to give this album a chance after hearing the unseen empire and really liking it.

About the touring, he told the rest of the band that the songs from Holographic Universe were too hard to sing live, and he could not sing more than two of them per show. That's why they hired two singers. Also, Christian could not reproduce all the details of the vocal production all alone.

I was actually really pleasantly surprised with this album. Considering how insanely talented Christian was I was certain they were gonna go the same way as Sepultura. But I still really enjoy the new vocals, even if they're not quite as good, and Parenthasis has quite possibly the best riffs I've heard in their career. Holographic Universe is still their magnum opus for me, but I'd say that this is easily the equal of Pitch Black Progress or Symmetric in Design. All hail the Symmetry!

first time i listen to this album i was disapointed, maybe it was because i missed Chris Vocals so much, but the more i listen to it the more i like it, Scar Symmetry is still one of my fav bands, and this album is great. Robert Maniac eye FTW!

Well, let me put it this way, Scar Symmetry is my favorite death metal band, and they may continue to be, because even though this guy is not on par with Christian, he's still good. I mean, he's not all that different. If Disturbed ever got rid of David, I'd probably never listen to that band again, but this change isn't all that bad.

I don't mind this at all,but naturally I am partial to Holographic Universe. That remains my personal favorite 🤘

New singers are really good (skitbra faktiskt) and they take SS to a new level in my opinion. I do admit that I like these vocalist. Christian would kick both their asses at the same time anyday, though, but they're a good replacement. And I can't take this video seriously. Scar Symmetry, you guys are the best melodeath I believe, but what the hell is this? This is ridiculous.

Shit, I really really like these guys, the new singers are just great (Christian was awesome, but he's no longer with SS, so, let's not look backwards). This album is perfect, my favorite is Symmetric In Design, but, DMD is simply a jewel, Parenthesis In Eternity kickasses!!!!

Makes sense.. But i wonder if Lars Palmqvist has the same range as Christian Älvestam.. Because i listened to their audition (also found on 'Tube) and it sounds as if Christian was a wee bit higher than Lars... I could be wrong though :s
