Outro reminds me of the ending of a long fought battle. A battle that was once thought impossible to win. Now with victory in sight, and your enemy beginning to retreat, you keep pushing forward to eminent victory.

A lot of words in this song. A lot of meaning. A lot of people refusing reality in contradiction to said reality. We're here now. This is what I ranted about for years.

Makes more and more sense as 2024 is upon us.

Per is truly a special talent and a brilliant musical mind. There are many guitarists I admire, many of them great soloists, but I don’t think there’s a better pound for pound metal guitar soloist. Every time he graces a track it’s with thoughtful, beautiful, and dazzling artistry that perfectly elevates the composition and I couldn’t imagine a single note different. Even outside of the section you’d strictly call a solo he finds continuity and compositional flow. This track is one of the best examples, especially
