Truck with semi trailer loses control and spins of the ice road at Högfors, Sweden. A heavy wrecker from Lundbärgarna, Borlänge helps him up on the road again.

Cool video. In the US, our heavy drivers would have parked further back the first time and just pulled the whole thing back on solid ground on the first tug. But if they had to pull from the front, the Boom can rotate 180 degrees, so they wouldn't have hooked on the wheel if they didn't have too. *But It makes sense that different trucks would use different techniques.*

It depends also where the recovery company departures from. In Sweden it might be pretty long trip from depot to the crashed truck. This was not so difficult operation, only one truck managed to help him out from there, so my guess is up to 1000 € no more. But I could be surprised in real of course :)

Fin bärgare! Är det sunt att bakaxeln flexar så mycket mot chassit som den gör vid 3:20 ?

It depends also where the recovery company departures from. In Sweden it might be pretty long trip from depot to the crashed truck. This was not so difficult operation, only one truck managed to help him out from there, so my guess is up to 1000 € no more. But I could be surprised in real of course :)
Flott Video.

Jan Scaniamann Tack!
Nice SCANIA truck
Can someone explain how he is pulling the trucks’ front tire without ruining the steering or axle, or rim or tire itself? How is he not damaging anything, or is he?
Bra Videor Du Gör
Very nice
Did they pulled the truck from its axle ?
Standing where he is, he’s obviously NEVER seen a winch snap

No, and he probably never will. Did you see the thickness that wire have? And well maintained and tested, mad of Swedish steel...

Good job
bra bra!!!
I would not think pulling by the tire/wheel would work or be a good way? I am not a tow truck driver so I don't know as much as them. Just my thought.
