Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
An early morning and a Scania semitrailer have gone off the road and in to the forest. Luckily the driver was unharmed. Assistancekåren Borlänge arrives at the scene of accident with their Scania Boniface rotator truck together with a Volvo heavy recovery truck.

Nice, smooth operation. Thanks for sharing.
After seeing so many botched recoveries, it is refreshing to see how it is done properly and safely. Well done guys.

TRÈS BONNE VIDÉO 👍👍
Very sad to see this scene but congratulations on the rescue. Here in Brazil, aid is often not as patient as that presented in this occurrence.

Great job guys
Note how they grab onto the strongest partof the truck, the wheels, love the walking beam out riggers on the crane truck, but i bet thse guys would love to swap those old fashioned wire ropes for HDMPE at 1/10 of the weight for same breaking strain Good video Guys keep em coming. Love to see pros operating hi-tech machines like these
Good that they brought the Assistance Karen, in case they needed to speak to the manager.
I'm impressed by the lift capacity on the boom. All the while using 2 or 3 other winches for pulling. And the engine hardly revs above idle. Very well designed wreckers. 👍

Well in my humble opinion, I have to agree with 'The Grumpy Southerner' to some extent. Then again, I have no experience whatsoever in this type of 'rescue ' work,.but I'll bow to the experts as shown here by ADVideofilm. One thing is certain, it sure is a good video and a pleasure to watch. I really like those softly purring diesels at work.

The exact same accident happened by the Swedish town Hässleholm some years ago. I stopped with my motorcycle and walked towards the stranded truck and avsked if he had calling for help. He looked tired and i guess he had falling asleep while driving and ended up in the wood when he replied that another trucker friends was coming in a few hours. I replied with, you need more than a trailer friend to get that out of the wood.
To bad they don't alloow truck like that here in America.. Love the flat bed heavy duty
I thought this was an Arbys’ commercial - “We have the meats”
Gr8 paying job. An independent can set his own prices and bid on major accidents/wrecks.
Nice recovery... How does the tow bar stay on a level plane although the lift raises it ...
Super práca
Great to see that traffic was allowed to pass while they were at work and only stopped when essential. In the UK that road would have been closed........for two days! The first day would just be the risk assessment. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit but continental drivers on the whole seem much more sensible and can be trusted to drive past a scene such as this.

Day 1 would also include all the police measuring etc to see if they could prosecute anyone
Wow, the way european trucks/trailers are laid out look so different to here in Aus. I can honestly say I've never seen a truck like that DHL one here in Aus.

It looks a little weird without its trailer that's why. Just imagine a trailer behind it and it'll look much more normal.
those idiots who pass to fast the recovery place lead to fully closed road for recovery. if anyone slows down like the dhl truck, the crew can work and the drivers get to their aim with only time lost of few seconds. with a closed road it can take up to an hour longer. please slow down at working places
The Scania rotater wrecker truck looks very uniquely similar to the rotater wrecker's here in America!
O sistema e bruto em😧😧😧

Looks to me that whether you are in the american mid west or northern Europe, a rotator is a very handy piece of kit to have. Looks like another professional recovery 👍👍 One thing i would like to see is more of the set up of the chains etc, i think it would add a lot to the video's.
Imagine looking in your mirror and it's the ASSISTANCE KAREN truck
That DHL truck?!? I think they deliver packages differently in Europe! Looks like it's Dakar ready.

The truck is probably driven by the driver - either way the extra bars in the front means getting a rebate on the insurance due to less costly damages if you catch an elk (or a boar for that matter...)
2:07 I have a question about lifting underneath a truck that’s stuck using the crane... do the straps cut in to the Alguns’ box frame? It seems like the bottom corners are under a lot of pressure. Do they ever collapse?

En Méjico llegan nada más Autos de Europa Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Scania, Irizar pero no en Tractocamiones Europeos deberían de llegar al mercado Latinoamericano saludos desde la CDMX
To slow traffic down at incident scene's lay partly filled water filled fireman's hoses across the road at each end of site. Sign post the humps (sleeping policemen) The water will be moved side ways along the hoses if crossed slowly The hoses must be longer than the road crossing and capped at each end to prevent water loss. I have used this method to slow traffic entering a works yard, with the hose end connected to a 45 gallon tank half filled with water. A vehicle crossing the hose has to displace this water from the hose to cross. No drilling or cutting is required with the road surface. It worked great but needed anti freeze added for the colder month's.
My thoughts as well, why are they not pulling straight back out the way it went in. Had that trailer been move heavily loaded it would have rolled once they started to pull the unit out from under it. Drove off with no light board showing to the rear of the wreck either ? Nice kit though that's for sure.

Also didn’t see any break-away chains in use. Not required in Sweden?
HEY GUYS, NO NEED FOR ALL THESE ROTATOR DRAMA, As an expert here commented, "IT COMES BACK AS IT WENT IN". CHANGE the damaged FRONT WHEEL (could be the cause of accident) The VOLVO FM recovery is fine to do the job with a set of handy men of trucks and trailers, working on woods for an hour and another hour for pulling her on to the tarmac with minimum damage. This recovery company made their day and drama ... God bless them ... Okay, they too are our pals ...
Good job guys, look at channel Ron Prat... Alone man, one crane truck, smart & clever...

Thanks! I think you are right about the sound. I have had some problem with the microphone on the camera.
On another incident in this series, there was a convoy vehicle taking through traffic slowly past the scene, why not this time? As the damaged truck was towed away, where were the hazard warnings on the back? An accompanying vehicle perhaps? To warn traffic about the length of the combined vehicle. Are Swedish roads incredibly highly specified, or am I missing something? There were just two spiked 'feet' taking the weight of the boom arm truck as well as the weight of the trailer close to the edge of the carriageway, and yet the road surface showed no sign of damage... that's some serious tarmac!
@Wiikendzgoodmix

Depends on the amount of traffic. Max length in Sweden is 25.25m, so everyone is pretty much used to long vehicles on the road. 90% of our roads are classed as BK1, which means you can drive a vehicle at a gross weight of up to 64 tons on those roads.
give me permission to download this video for partial reuse
DSV meaning Drive Safer Vessels?
What is the handling capacity of that Scania rotator? 40 tons? 50 tons? More? I wonder if any cabover rotators operate in North America.
8:37 What was on the dashboard?? Someone made a table & outfitted it w/possibly a tea set or some air fresheners crowns, IJDK, lol.

It's an after market table put in on the dash, drivers usually have scented air fresheners called "poppy" on them. Table is also good for putting your phone or shipping papers on.
