Well i for one love their triangle, i am not blinded to the fact BOTH hold a great significance in Olivia's life and she holds the same for them. Team Olivia always. Love this, love them. The writing is great, the show is as great as the first 2 seasons. Don't be swayed by any fans with tunnel vision and make your own minds up.

Don't trust Jake but understand why Olivia did it. ...she wants to protect Fitz from her father and find her mom

I can't stand this storyline either. And I'm sick of the back in forth between Jake and Fitz. I wish Jake was never a regular on the show. I miss the good old days when it was just about Liv and Fitz like in Season 1 & 2. Get rid of Jake. The love triangle and the long hiatus's are annoying and getting on my nerves. And if it doesn't stop as much as I love the show, i will lose interest. I don't care for Liv's role this season or really to towards the end of last season. I miss watching the love, friendship and the passion that they had between them. And what happened to the calls they use to share daily? For their one minute? Even when they saw each other daily Fitz still called her at night. Shonda better step it back up. Boot Jake off! I don't want my Thursdays to be waisted about Jake anymore!

How about if it’s a mutual simultaneous thing: Fitz FINALLY, COMPLETELY lets go of Mellie and Liv FINALLY, COMPLETELY let’s go of Jake? Comfort Zones. Not gonna dis and wound Jake the way she did in the garden, but she is willing to move on from anything or anyone that makes her sweet baby uncomfortable. Fitz must also clear the decks for his future woman wife, offer her security and contentment.🏌️‍♀️🍯😌♥️

People can say what they want about this show not being good anymore but I love it. It is the small things that gets me, for example: Mellie standing up there talking the year her and Fitz has had within their marriage and saying you all came to see my husband. Then there is

Sad to say but just saw next weeks preview and liv and jake are tongue tied makes me sick to my stomach, I am tired of seeing fitz go all out for her and all she does is yell and complain, he is there whenever she needs him can he get the same treatment liv

I am not feeling liv so far this season this man helped with your crazy mom put up with crazy dad all for you and she still can't just be happy for one minute I know he is married but that marriage never had a chance because no love was present only political gain and they both achieved that so in my book he does not owe mellie a damn thing he found true love with liv, if she goes back to jake this time I hope fitz is the one moving on with her and mellie

Naw Olivia is always in work mode her goal to make sure Fitz wins this time the regular way. Her being his campaign manager he is happy and he has a better chance at winning but with the cheating rumors always coming up he is losing

I hate this story line. I don'i know where Shondra is going with this and I'll give her a few more episodes, but this may be it for me. I have no control over her writing, but I do control what I watch.Olivia can't become a slut passed from one man to another. Either Fitz loves her or he doesn't.Yes this is a story' but I control my emotions.

I think there is something more going on. To get the press off her scent, I think Liv dating other men is a good idea. Liv chose Jake in an attempt to reel Fitz back in after he not only dismissed her, he didn't listen to her. Jealousy usually brings back a more submissive Fitz. What she and everyone else doesn't realize is that Fitz is evolving. What he is evolving into remains to be seen, but an evolution is going on with him. LOL

Kiki Mc Hi. Just read Jake's body language, listen to his words & you will get who & what he is in this. Don't let the optics mis-guide you. Remember there a layers - when last has Jake been strong & confident? It was during the one on one, where he said to Fitz, 'It's not about Olivia ..' He now has the job of Command with power he felt he was owed .. Is he reading as confident & strong? Also are you reading 'love' for Olivia? My answer to those is, 'no'. IMO, Jake was the obvious choice because there is history there, most likely there're pic from the WHCD, & if the press digs into her/their past it will surface organically. It'll be discovered that JB & OP went to dinner & such before these rumors, the leak of her name even surfaced the first time around. It makes the 'relationship' more credible, not a just a reaction to the 'salacious truth' in the news cycle, but one with history. Additionally, Jake can be reached, controlled (she thinks) by both Fitz & Olivia because Olitz is fact to all players in the cover-up. In reality it's messy because Jake still wants to 'get' Fitz; & much like Rowan/Eli, Mellie, Cyrus, & to a lesser extent Leo/Sally, he too is now using Olivia as string to manipulate, undermine, be at war with Fitz.

HenRhee Higginz I see a chess board. Fitz, and I could be wrong, is attempting for once to control the entire board. Jakes loves being Command. He knows that even if Liv cares for him, he could never compete against Fitz, and he knows how much Fitz love, is obsessed, and would move heaven and earth for Olivia. Jake now knows who Fitz is as the President and as a man. Liv is off limits. He will play the pretend game, but I can't see him crossing Fitz. Not now. Someone is playing a very high-stakes game of chess. . . I think it Fitz. . . Who do you think it is? LOL

CaughtUp Yep, I can agree with the chess analogy, & concur that Fitz has been working all S3 to claim his life from his 'trusted circle' who are not to be trusted, & to marginalize them as well. A move, I applaud. However I've come to accept that a president HAS to delegate & trust; there is no human possibility for any one person to control/monitor every aspect of the economy, national security, diplomacy, environmental issues, education, etc. So he does have to rely on reports, & therein lies the rub. As we learnt with the intel on E Sudan, many push their own agendas, even those who are not in pursuit of their 'future' (Mellie, Cy, Rowan); so Fitz is spread very thin now - thus we see the stress showing. I feel there is a less obvious shot caller/player & I'm inclined to think it's Maya. The imagery of her in front of the WH is what is making me go there, however I can't yet tell what her checkmate ideal represents. I also wonder if this election will be any 'less corrupt' than the last because while Fitz needs a clean win, Leo is diabolical, Reston is in revenge mode feeling empowered with the un-confirmed truth of Defiance, & Rowan is on the war path. Jake is not good at much. He was most 'effective' with information that was provided by the work of others, Liv, Huck, Rowan, etc., & while he might like being Command, he by no means has the presence or the skill for that job. Jake always knew Liv & Fitz were crazy about each other & it never negated him pushing his agenda with her; so I think now that he's 'legitimately' eligible to be a suitor he'll still make trite attempts at undermining her confidence in Fitz, an Olitz future & her sanity for staying dedicated to him. IMO Jake has never loved Liv, he was however, as he admitted, always been jealous of everything that Fitz had first, & let's face it Liv is way out of his league so why not try to dabble to see just how far he can get, look at where it got him so far. So that is my two cents.

It’s the only way I can stay. Lmao! You mean its my get out of REALLY being with Fitz ticket! She is so full of shit. Lies right to his face. Poor Jake is just a pawn. Both men are just suckers who believe her lies over and over again. Olivia’s character has taken a nose dive in my opinion. Both men would be better off without her.
