Wow, a response came to this video comment I forgot I made. Fast forward 3 years and I gave my TV away last year needing to work on my spiritual side. I have no clue whats going on with Scandal now.

These two are in sync .They belong together,they make a good team.They understand each other without saying a word.

I love this scene. So easy, honest, warm, true, & natural between them. I would have been digging through the garbage for that phone like a crack head too!

She came back to the office to get the Fitz phone in a previous scene with Jake. She threw the phone in the trash but it killed her. She was waiting for him to call all day for this reason here and he did.

It was also a joke. He asked her what he should say to the press and she said, "You're welcome." so I guess that makes it a triple entendre. Shonda was at her best this season.

Its role reversal. He shows all the emotion women usually show and shes strong and silent hiding like most men do. Shondas writing is on point. If she had said "I love you" it would bring us down and put a period on it but not answering left us wanting more- makes us want to come back for more. Shonda knows drawing a straight line is BORING and were addicted to the rollercoaster twist and turns that is OLITZ. Shondas the bomb.!!!

She didn't say "I love you" back to him but the look on her face said it all. :)

She melted like she has been waiting to hear from him all day. That assures her. Even though she runs and tries to fight him off its good to know that he still is in love with her. She don't say it back often because she has abandonment issues.

This is one of the BEST scenes, I think for a long time Mellie thought the ONLY thing between Olitz was just sex, this was something that shattered that illusion. It explains why Mellie basically begged Liv to come back and run his re-election campaign.

No Mellie knows Fitz is in love with Olivia That's why she hates her so much. She knows that Fitz never loved her and what their marriage is always been. Mellie is the reason why Olivia resigned in the first place.

Aww she's been waiting on Fitzy boo to call all day about those jokes and he did. Mellie listening to the conversation was probably the reason why she asked Olivia to run his campaign again.

god these two are amazing actors. every emotion you get from them perfectly when without lines

Fitz and Olivia belong together. Jake can take a hike. I don't know how Mellie can stand there and listen to that. If have to let Fitz go.

Maybe on some level she's jealous that Fitz finally fell in love with someone because she didn't allow him to fall in love with her. If she had any love for Fitz after this scene she couldve told Fitz about his daddy raping her and that's why she pushed him away all those years but no she continued to call Olivia his whore his mistress and she was never gonna tell him about the rape. This is why the marriage will continue to be cold, distant and dead. She would rather let Fitz feel like he's just some cheating man just like his father when really he's not. This is why I don't feel sorry for Mellie at all.

One thing this man will always Love her! No Matter what.

You gotta understand Olivia has abandonment issues thanks to her mother,and daddy issues but we know and Fitz know and everybody knows cause she shows it even though she has a funny way of showing it sometimes.She said it to him twice actually when they saw the constitution and right before Jerry died.

Olivia is in love with him as well but she don't verbally tell him how she feels because of abandonment issues and she knows that he is quick to step down as president for her and she wants him to continue his presidency and finish it out and then they can be together

Dang how much of the show did I miss!

Why doesn't Fitz ask Olivia how she feels. Being named as his mistress almost ruin her career.

His saying "I love you" is worth a million bucks because he loves her so much that he does anything she asks him to do if he can. I tolerate her because of his love for her because these scenes are so deceptive once you go back and watch the episodes in order. This scene is a beautiful moment as long as you don't care about what has happened in earlier scenes.

Mature man with emotions and exhibits them is my kind of man. Who said a man can’t be vulnerable and still be sexy as hell😁😊😊❤️❤️

She did become pregnant later in season 5 but she got an abortion and they broke up. Wasn't a good time. He was divorced by then but he was still president and she felt trapped in the white house
