Me too!..he just looks so like "the MAN" and Olivia feels it in her gut but refuses to recognize his spell on her, she has to remain mad in respect of her mother's death and other things! But, when Fitz stands there and just so confidently looks at her, he knows their on the outs,,. but to him she's still his woman because he's her Man, Mmmm! Just standing there Fitz looks so sexy!

He's the bae her boo, her love. I love that he just drops by anytime too but at least he's not like Jake and Huck and her dad. They all are there in the house when she comes in waiting in the dark

Actually, Liv’s mother wasn’t dead. She was hiding from Liv’s father. Liv’s mother is also a terrorist though. Not that it makes it any easier, but she wasn’t exactly an innocent lamb.

When she opens the door, that shot of Fitz, whew, I think every time, I love Fitz !

I have to say that scene is intense but the music editing is phenomenal. It just makes this scene that much more intense. I wish Fitz could just come clean with Liv. I know he is trying to protect her in the long run.

It's classified information can't do that. Its also good that he didn't because later we find out that her mother is alive that she was never on the plane.

Scandal has always picked the best songs to intensify the scenes!!!!

Fitz showing up to Olivia's door is the best. Love exist bc they exist to be with each other. Like a breath of fresh air, i feel when they continue to love

That's unconditional love right there... Nothing she could do that would never be forgiven and he proved it. The plane shot down, the death of his son, defiance etc

Fitz 's face is a picture.Liv knows that he's withholding information from her.I hope they can survive this .

I like that he didn't tell her anything. He took an oath so she will eventually get over that.

I think the problem here is she's mad at him because he won't tell her anything. It's classified information but she thinks that her mother was on the plane and so to her she may think that he knew that and still shot the plane down but Fitz didn't have that information. When he was in the navy he was just following orders that happened to be by her father. You talking about a small world here. Fortunately we find out her mother is alive in the next couple of episodes.

Breaks my heart a little. I'm not sure if Fitz knew her mother was on the plane. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if her mom WAS the head of B-613, and Fitz was merely following orders.

Of course he didn't know he was in the navy and he didn't know about any of the passengers. He was taking orders from her dad but later we find out she's alive she wasnt on the plane after all and Olitz make up

Exactly. Of course he didn't know. He was just a soldier complying with orders. This just goes to show how deeply entrenched Rowan/Eli is in ruining Olivia's life to make her the emotionless solider he wants. Even years later, just so happens that Fitz, the Navy pilot, shot down the plane that Olivia thought that he mother was on...oh the Scandalous drama.

Fitz is the president of the united state. There are certain factors all of the president of the United States need to know and his staff members. Fitz don't have to tell her anything. Even if he loves her and he does.if Fitz shot that plane down, he took orders from his Commander, Rowan, Olivia' father. He had no idea her mother was on the plane.( She wasn't on it. ) To disobey a order mean court marshall for him. Setting a military record for him. 👞👠🤦 So if Olivia love him she needs to trust him. Better yet talk to your father. 👹👹🤠

Ooooowoo, Standoff!!! I like the comparison of Liv losing the most important person in her life, her Mom & now Fitz. These 2 r awesome in all their scene's, u can just feel them thro the screen. Was starting to feel a bit MEH, towards Scandal lately but gonna hang in there & see where it goes.

First of all Olivia made a conscious decision to get with him in spite of him being married they're both grown and I'm pretty sure Fitz might wanna tell her the truth but he CAN'T probably to protect her as well as the govt, Fitz is messed up but he does love her CLEARLY, secondly every character in this show is shady what's new and third I'm pretty sure Jake is not all he's cracked up to be single or not.

Fitz being married has nothing to do with this situation. He shot down a plane when he was in the Navy by her father's orders. Jake and Huck found this information out and immediately went to Olivia with the information. This was another attempt of Jake trying to come between Olitz. Olivia was gonna run Fitz campaign but she got this information and so now she don't wanna do it and Fitz is trying to convince her to do it. He won't tell her anything and that's why she's mad right now but the next episode they go to Vermont and make up in their home and then later we find out her mother is alive.

One genuine question - how much age difference is between Liv & Fitz? she was 12 during OP Remington which was during Gulf war which means around 1991 or so. So this means she is now 34. What is Fitz age? my guess 50+. Am I right?

For Fitz to be older is a positive in their relationship because Olivia also prefers the more mature and experienced older male. One thing for sure, Fitz does not look his age and he has the strong muscular body (beautiful) and virility of a young man, one in his 30's or around 40 is what I would take him for. He truly looks great, because many Whites don't age well. These two make a good couple and that's another reason I enjoy them so much in the fictional world of Scandal, where they can more romantically exist.

As much as l feel sorry for Olivia she was wrong Fitz didn't kill her mother in. Fact her mother wasn't on the plane. And beside he took command from her father as a Navy officer, he don't have to tell her anything,👖👕👞😑

Kiki Mc Lol I know what you mean. Imagine sitting through dinner with him talking about how he made Edison's accident happen and he can do the same to him, laughing. I think that's there problem is no communication and when OLITZ do talk they seem to run from the harsh realities and confrontations. I know Eli is not giving up Liv he wants to control her Fitz will have a fight. I agree BonkerGate lol

Those were liv flashbacks as a 12 year old child as her mother was leaving the house. .This is her last memory of her

Yeah but we’re looking past that. I honestly don’t see an affair I see two ppl who desperately love each other and can’t be together that’s what ppl are resonating with.

I don't understand why Olivia would be surprised that Fitz would blatantly lie to her face like that when he's a married man that's been cheating on his wife all during their marriage and courtship?! She's supposed to be so smart but doesn't appear to have a lot of common sense quite frankly. She needs to move on with her life with Jake. At least he's trying to protect her without always thinking of the consequences for himself.

I know, he has lied to her face many times before (even over little things, like AT for instance) so I wasn't suprised but in this scene god Fitz made me sick. At the end of the day he will always think of himself and saving his own ass first. Even after Liv tells him her mom was one of the bodies he still plays the dumb card and even has that FU look on his face that he has done to her before. In S1 I thought Olitz was such a beautiful love story, now they simply make me ill. This is just another thing showing that Liv deserves better than Fitz and all he does a majority of the time is hurt her. SR ruins Fitz's character more and more every episode since S2e14. Run Liv and find a real man that deserves you.

I respect that . but you have to be fair. and move on and understang Scandal it is a political drama about adulterous , drama and crazy things. I do not care it Fitz is married or not because it is fiction and I love this bold show about this love story and the others. Jake is there for something ,. the show is call Scandal and not love story. there I no Scandal with Olivia and Jake.

I don't see what part of my comment was irrational. I don't hate Fitz per se - just what he represents. Rampant infidelity has never been an attractive quality in a man and certainly not in someone who is regarded as one of the most powerful men on the planet (and yes I realise Scandal is fiction).
