as painful as it was for him to ask. and to watch.i like it better when they talk to eachother ... and I am Olitz... all the way!! I think it is going to be hard ...for most of the season... but I do think there will be a point sometime later in the season she is going to tell Fitz how much she loves him... it is written in her face and her body language... but it seems she is in pain trying to let herself feel that full love for him...

Ever since I saw the movie "GHOST," many many moons ago, I still see this man ("Fitz") as SLIME🤣😂. That's the mark of a great actor if they can leave a long lasting impression on a viewer after so many years. 🤣

I have to agree with you LovelyEllieL. It's not so much what they're saying in my opinion but the delivery and the facial expressions, and I think TG and KW are excellent in this regard. I did feel the pain he felt or i think he must of felt thinking that "his" woman might be in love with the snake. I sort of was with her as she took that deep breathe before she looked up at him, trying to gather strength but i read in her face that she is totally in love with him. I don't think they'll end up together but they do love each other. That can't be denied.

CaughtUp Olivia (read writers) has put Fitz through a lot of BS and the man still gets so much HATE from people. I know Olivia is the lead but I can't just blindly defend her actions, watching how she treats the man she loves. I get that she's got abandonment issues but she's a grown woman and if she needs to work on her problems, then break Olitz up and let her figure it out. I'm tired of Fitz constantly proving to her that he loves her, what hasn't this man done for her? What about Liv? At this point, I'd say she's not worthy of Fitz. Her answer about possibly having feelings for Jake is so stupid. Really? This is the woman who doesn't let people in easily, who's put Fitz before anyone and anything for the past 5 years - "my whole life is you" - and this woman has doubts? NEVER. There is no triangle and Jake being forced into the picture is the worst move writers made. Olivia Pope lives and breaths Fitzgerald Grant, the woman lights up each time he calls. Total waste and as a viewer I feel insulted, I thought this was an intelligent political show with awesome romance. Well, the joke is on me, I guess.

Clearly the answer is yes she has feelings for Jake, thing is though, she also has feelings for Fitz. Truth is she is in love with both of them and i for one love their triangle.

No, she's not in love with Jake rather she's in love with Fitz. She has told Fitz several that she's in love with him but she never for once told Jake she was in love with him. She sees Jake as her escape route from the Fitz situation(the fact that he was married and was the president)

Olivia's actions and their connection (Jake and Olivia's) an their freedom with and in each other speaks for itself and from what i can see, it shows she is torn between the two.

@@nicolarose8026 you still don't get. Olivia and Jake never had a connection, the fact that they were close friends is what you are mistaken as connection. Olivia slept with Russell on different occasions, was she in love with him? Olivia had an affair with Senator Davies in Season 1 or 2, was she in love with him too? Out of all the men Olivia was with, Fitz was the only one she told severally that she was in love with him, she never told others. Olivia would have continued sleeping with Russell if it wasn't for what happened (he was a spy from her father), she left Senator Davies because he wanted to marry her and she couldn't because of Fitz. The reason why it was difficult for Olivia and Fitz to be together was because he was the president and that was a problem for both of them because people would start seeing them differently and she couldn't let Fitz leave the presidency because all what she did just so he could be the president would have been in vain. She even told Fitz herself that she was going to wait for him to finish his term as the president if that was what it took for them to be together. She still told Cyrus that she was in love with Fitz and she wanted to be with him. There were so many things that happened in the series that made us to understand who she was in love with

There was a conversation they had when they started sleeping together, Jake asked her if she was still thinking about Fitz after everything that has happened between him(Jake) and her, Olivia couldn't answer that question, she had a sad countenance on her face. Then Jake said "I would make you forget him". Another time they talked, Jake confronted Olivia after he had gone rogue that he knew Olivia only used him as a pawn to forget Fitz and that she kept treating him(Jake) as a handbag, because he was always helping her and running errands for her. Then Olivia responded to him by saying that they(Olake) did not stand a Chance at all and it was all just a plain situationship (sex)

@@simisolaodukomaiya151 No - It is YOU who don't get it. There is no mistake in my mind because from my perspective i see a very deep connection between both Liv and Jake. What YOU don't seem to get is that just because YOU don't see a connection or love doesn't mean there wasn't. It just means YOU have YOUR belief based on what YOU saw and interpreted. As i have mine. And since that has always been SR's goal to give the audience various perspectives when viewing her story. I will leave it up to SR an SR only to define her own stories. So again, believe what you must. But i see great love between Jake and Olivia as i see it between Fitz and Olivia. The difference here is, i don't need to convince anyone or try to convince anyone or need anyone to see what i see in her story for me to know it is true.

I am at the point now that if she does sleep with jake this week fitz needs to let her go I mean what else can the man do to prove his love and I don't want to here he is a married man because we all know now that the marriage was over long ago even mellie said in season 2 that they were never in love now the writers are trying to spin it another way liv is very annoying right now make up your damn mind if it is the snake then be with him because how it looks you are not showing fitz anything right now

he could get a divorce. that is the one and only thing he can do to prove that he wants to be with her. by not doing that he is choosing his career over love! just because Olivia says she wants him to be president, and have Mellie by his side does not mean that is what he should do. she is being the unselfish one by telling him this because she knows how much he wants it. but that does not make it hurt any less for her. if Fitz really wants Olivia he can't just say he will give it all up. he has to actually do it!
