Dakota Johnson's peformance might have been the best thing about this movie. On the one hand she's the exactly right kind of pretty to match bot as a hot lead and be still believable as an innocent, medicore, confused student girl. At the same time her performance is so awkwardly ironic, almost like she was parodying Kirsten Stewart's Bella from Twilight. Some of her expressions are downright hillarious.

Ana is an infp personality type so she will be extremely nervous and fumble or be awkward and clumsy. I am also an infp personality type and her experience has similarities i had when meeting my partner who is an istp personality type and has certain characteristics that align with Christian Grey....domineering, factual, direct, acts in a crisis...so on. Im not sure if christian grey character is this personality type just similiar traits. But yes awesome to relate to this scene. I actually twisted my ankle on first date so clumsiness often happens to an infp. 😂

Yes, seen it many many times in person & on screen. I spent the first 12 years of my life going to church every Sunday. In the LDS cult(which is run completely by men, women have no standing) the men with the highest authority & the most power, always sit in the front facing the congregation. Mormon worship is so boring its close to torture. I remember just watching everytime one of the men at the front would stand up, they'd always button their suit jacket, & everytime they'd sit back down they'd unbutton it. Without fail... Yeah.. that actually entertained me, it was that boring. It's also extremely obvious in the show Better Call Saul, sometimes to the point where it's a bit comical to me.. obviously there's A LOT of courtroom scenes & scenes of rich, suited up lawyers in conference rooms. They all do the same thing on the show. They stand up to speak, jacket gets buttoned..they sit down, jacket gets unbutton.

The movie sucks especially compared to the books. The actor they chose for him just didn’t fit what the book portrayed.

So some ladies think they have a chance with a guy like that in a similar scenario?... So its like women are asking to be manipulated intro their fantasy and taken advantage of... It's just sad really...

I think I could say this is the worst acting I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Why they release such bad movies like this is a really good question.
