Mounting an SC Project exhaust on my RS660. The bike isn't mapped for the exhaust yet so I couldn't do a road test but I do a sound test on the lift at the 7:27 mark. Enjoy!

    I appreciate the feedback! I’m hoping I’ll get better at explaining things the more videos I do for the non-wrench folks. Few words come out of my mouth when I’m wrenching by myself and they’re not the type you want to put on a video lol.

    @@nippz05 I haven't received the exhaust yet. Been waiting months. Whilst a few people do have them most people in the EU and US have not gotten anything from those I have spoken to. I have got the addon cat and already received that as it was a separate order. From those that have the exhaust I have been told without the cat in the bike is obnoxiously loud. From videos I have listened too I think the Mivv cans have a better growl. I did ask for an update for mines delivery and it should be in the next couple of weeks.

    Nice, clean job! But you don't need to install lambda probes, the upmap your ar going to install disable 'em (as well as PAIR/SAS and tank vent solenoid) so just source a pair of M12 plugs for those ports.

    Great video, I particularly liked your advice on the radiator, I’ve watched a few doing these and I always cringe when they try and wedge the headers up between the engine and the radiator, always thought to myself, why don’t they just remove or loosen the rad?!! Once those fins get damaged, they look horrendous!!

  • @skwidvids

    @skwidvids

    6 ай бұрын

    I appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I’m sure it can be done without removing the radiator but as you said, once the fins are damaged, it looks bad but it reduces cooling. Which happens to be one of the issues with this bike in the first place so it made sense to just move the rad out the way.

    What made you go with this exhaust instead of the CRT? I’m looking at both but can’t decide which to go with.

  • @skwidvids

    @skwidvids

    2 жыл бұрын

    A couple of reasons. The CRT is LOUD. It sounds great on bikes like the R1 or RSV4. My wife had one on her RSV4 and I had the race oval on my RSV4. Hers was definitely louder but I liked the exhaust note on mine. Also, there is a performance aspect. More HP with the SC1-R.
