So, in the song MAPA, it becomes the child singing it back to his parents. 🙂 The boat and plane, traveling all over the map (which is MAPA's other literal meaning), can represent any child's journey through life, leaving home and also coming back -- that's why it's universally relatable.

Trivia: MAPA was the 5th most searched song on the planet in 2021 (only 6th in the Philippines that year, so eliminate the A'tin/pinoy factor that haters claim because this was WORLDWIDE search). Views to reaction videos to this Mapa lyric video had gone as high 1.6M views (as of the moment) as it was so popular back then. This isn't some of your typical viral music that gets played over and over again for dance covers. A lot of people don't even like to listen to it because it makes them so sad/emotional. But to get 100M views over this lyric video? Man, I'd say this is a TIMELESS CLASSIC.

Thank you. I was about to switch to something else not being a boy band pop fan, but then I started to recognize some of the lyrics and realized it was Tagalog. I have been to the Philippines multiple times and have been married to my wife who was born there for 22 years. I’m an old musician who has played there and love the people. So I guess I need to start checking out some of their work out of respect. I have to say I watch a lot of videos on your channel, I wasn’t expecting this, good one.

Do check out their discography as most of their songs are deep and the lyricism brilliant; plus the MVs and visualizers are very creative. They touch different genres - ballads, hiphop, RnB, EDM, etc. They are mean dancers too. And their live vocals, even while dancing vigorously, are fire. You might also want to check out their recent performance on Japan's The First Take of their viral song GENTO. There's rapping there - a warning, just in case rap is not your cup of tea.

But I heard them first with their 'Hanggang Sa Muli' which is now one of my favorite songs, and see them way above as a 'Boy Band' I didn't even realize it was from a boy band. Now I follow them and proud that aside from them making it big, Philippines has also become a part of this worldwide popularity😊.

I've heard of a grandma in a wheelchair whose daughter had her fly all the way from Hawaii to Japan just to watch SB19's concert there last April. 🤗. Such devotion from fans. This lyric video deserves to get 100M. This shows how the boys think, it's beyond just the current music. Their videos have easter eggs which could refer to future music. Think of the EP trilogy. They had the titles (and the concept) of the EPs before they released the first one. Relating to this video, that boat at the start and the flowers growing referred to Pagsibol or sprouting. When they have established themselves, in Pagtatag, that's when they actually started "flying" literally and figuratively. Towards the end, the boat came back, they slowed down for Simula at Wakas (the next EP).
