My wife is from Nayarit and I am from Sonora. We have been going there for the past three years and I fell in love with both Sayulita and Guayabitos. Best places to be and we have been to Puerto Rico and Miami. We love Nayarit.

There are dozens of locations where you can rent for a day, a week or whatever. Everything is subject to negotiation, but you can expect to pay anywhere between $40 - $60 per day, depending on whether you rent an electric or gas operated cart and the size of the cart.

I’d like to meet the people responsible for building such an interesting hotel.

What was the beach like? People keep saying sewage dumps into the beach! I’m already booked for 4 nights, so I’m hoping the sewer issue is no more. Thanks! Can’t wait to visit

The beaches were great - no issues there at Sayulita. I would also recommend a day trip over to La Lancha beach. No services there, but it’s an amazing beach.

My boyfriend and I went in February, and we both got the Norovirus, the sickest I’ve ever been. The water was filthy.

Thanks for the video. We are trying to decide if we stay in Nuevo Vallarta or the Sayulita are this December. I am 67 years old and have gained 20 lbs in the last 2 years. Doctor does not want me to visit Sayulita.

I observed lots of folks in your same age range enjoying the city of Sayulita. Of course it is entirely a personal decision. Because it is so easy to get around using Uber, you may want to consider a day trip to Sayulita and or San Pancho. At either location, I would recommend that you rent a golf cart for the day and enjoy everything. The area has to offer. Have a great trip!

Hi Cliff! We're considering traveling to Sayulita during the last week of June. Comparably, your visit seems much less populated by tourists than I see in other vlogs... Were you just out and about early in the day, or was it the time of year? We'd love to experience Sayulita, though the crowds I'm seeing by searching KZread look overbearing. Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, I was there in February and there were no crowds. I also visited the previous May and Sayulita WAS crowded. You might consider going just a little further north and staying in San Pancho. Much less crowded, quiet setting, but you have plenty of resturant access AND you are within a 10-15 minute UBER ride to Sayulita if you want to come into town for the day or to eat. So technically, you can have it both ways.

Hi. I'm from México City and my advice is to eat at well known restaurants, big or small. I never eat food from the street, I know a lot of people do, I just don't feel safe, always drink water from a bottle, even popsicles from local vendors I would not buy them, stick to well known brands. So there you have it, enjoy México just be cautious what you eat and where you eat. This is my opinion, other people or tourists may think differently. Best regards.

No, you don't get sick unless from eating their food. I did however get sick, from all the alcohol I drank in my 5 day stay in the state of Nayarit.
