so doc...you are telling me, that they won't have Olly Dobson on the US tour? How about Roger Bart? Or are they mixing the actors even before that? I can't imagine this show without Olly's look and performance. Feel bad for US people who will see it lol.

I hope you can somehow arrange a filmed version with the OG cast, it'd be a crime not to have their performance preserved for all time (pun not intended. Well, maybe a little)

Saw the show three times under this cast and they were utterly incredible. Hope they're moving on to some wonderful things. Can't wait to see what the new cast have to offer when I'm back in a few weeks 💙

I've seen it four times and every time this unbelievable cast has gone above and beyond to deliver a wonderful show. I'm so sad to lose these cast members. But good luck to them and good luck to the new cast members.

Was lucky enough to see this incredible musical back in June 2022 with the original West End cast (no substitutes/understudies the night we went). Absolutely mind-blowing performances in a spectacular show that completely blew us through the Adelphi Theatre's roof! I cannot praise this show more highly. I hear it's opening on Broadway soon ... let's hope they can get a cast together like the original London production ... (good luck with that).

This cast is so amazing!! I'll miss them so so much!! Good luck for the future dreamers ⚡️

I don't think they will or at least not in a long time (years and years). The world tour is probably coming after US tour.

He's basically been involved in the show for 4 years. The west end version has continued on way longer than it was originally booked in to be so he's just moving on.

That film was only possible because of special effects and editing. The having multiple of the same character by the same actor isn’t really something you can do in theatre

@@Lanosrep True, also Musicals do normally have sequels. There are some examples of sequels. For example the Charlie Brown Musicals, Suessical and Grinch, and High School Musical The Musical and it's sequel.

Their contracts ended and decided to pursue future roles instead of wanting to stay, happens in shows literally all the time 🤣

How much must they be making per show, £500 or £1000? It must get boring after a bit. They've done almost 2000 shows since I saw them last in December.
