It makes me laugh so much that they couldn't even coordinate getting all the chairs off and you've just got Chad running across the stage with nothing like 'oh shit'! hahah i loved this so much!!

@@patriciajune5 The entire show is choreographed. The movements, the chair moves, the rotating stage....it's so tightly choreographed, it's no wonder they didn't need dancers, they needed people who knew how to hit their marks, lol

I love how the 2 writers of the show are in this skit

3:01 THIS IS SO RELATABLE🤣🤣 “Sharon (Ella)! Go!” “stop yelling at me!” “Is she crying? Oh my god, she’s crying. There’s no crying in choreography!!” Just the life of an overly sensitive high school actor. 😂 I love it though!!

I wasn't sure where this was going, but it turned out to be absolutely hilarious!!!! I'm seeing the show twice when it comes back to Toronto next year and I CAN'T FRICKEN WAIT!

We already LOVE this show - and this simply reinforces how delightfully creative yet unassuming their approach to bringing forward the story was.

HAHAHAHAHAHA 😂 This whole skit... _gold_

Wonderful - and it shows what a sense of self the authors and this crew has. Bravo!

Makes it even better because it's David AS Lee saying that his acting choice is to sit during the dancing. It's just great. And I didn't even notice that Irene did the Screech dance with the company until I noticed it WAS Irene. I would love to see both of them in the musical they wrote one day, they've obviously got the chops.

yo, i LIIIIIIIVVEEEEEE for this sketch and the home girl in the (i think) yellow/orange/pink jacket (IM COLORBLIND STAHP), she's on the left tho, she literally is giving me all of my energy that i need to survive through the week!!! (actually her and the other one on the right side in the front!) . THHHEEEENN, my gay side flourishes through the rough when the guy at 5:22, hit's that split and then bounces with the high hat hits is my EVVVEERRYYTHIINNNGGGG. Yas gawd! I believe they were actual "gypsies" who are usually very strong dancers and make a career out of learning shows fast and bouncing around in Broadway ensembles replacing other dancers on short notice (hence "gypsies" - they travel around). They probably learned this number in a day - I would assume hypothetically realizing what the choreographer would have wanted to do if Come From Away was cast with stronger dancers.

Jenn Collela isn't a lead. There is no lead of come from away. Hell, Jenn Collela was nominated for the Tony for Best SUPPORTING Actress in a Musical.

Jackson DeStefano a Tony technicality. If anyone would be considered “a lead” in the show, it would be her. She’s the only one with a song all to the self. She wasn’t eligible for the gypsy robe.

Performing in Gypsy of the Year is completely voluntary. Ms. Colella may have not been able to attend for a variety of personal or professional obligations. However, she was a big supporter of Gypsy of the Year audience appeals, often delivering the post-show speech at the Schoenfeld.

This show dosnt need choreography, the precision is enough . But the sad thing is that in someone's vision the dancing is included and it won't be as moving.
