I lost my dad in 2010, while on my way home from the Indy Nationals on Labor Day. 5 years later my mom passed, after a long decline. I miss them every day. Chris sorry for the loss of your father, brother i no what your going through i lost my dad back in March it never really gets any easier but you learn to deal with it as time goes by mom passed in April of 2020 but dad had been going down hill the last year myself or my brother had to stay with him around the clock i no he is with mom again and there in a better place but keep your faith and one day we will meet them again stay safe out there on the road Can you cut those fenders down and make them fit the lift axle just a thought

Hey bud. I am sorry for your loss of your father. I had no idea. I always tell people to make every moment count when we are alive and well because tomorrow is not guaranteed and it is those memories that you make that will keep them alive and well in your heart. I’d also like to mention that you take all the time you need to grieve and process your loss. Everyone grieves very differently and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. We as men are constantly told to suck it up and to get over it instead of dealing and processing it in our own way. We are told crying is for babies and makes you weak. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It can build up and become toxic in your mind where you cannot function or do the simplest of things in your daily life. It’s like having a wound and not letting it heal properly and then becomes infected to the point where you have to get that part amputated. A part of your soul gets lost in the process. No job is more important than your physical and mental state of health. In fact, it has been debunked that crying helps to release those harmful toxins that build up and can make you feel so run down that you cannot get out of bed or able to perform the simplest of thing during the day. We men spend the most part of our life trying to prove and please our fathers that we are capable of doing the same things he can do just so they can be proud of us. Take care and be safe out there.
