Classic Car Guys React To My 4x4 Restomod! (we got a history lesson)

First of all, go check out Dave's channel at @cciwb !!
I took my 4wd 1930 Dodge over to show some of the T Bums to see what they thought of it and whether or not they'd still let me hang out with them. After giving it a good looking over, we took it for a little drive, and then headed over to the @cciwb ranch to see Dave's amazing collection of antique vehicles, tractors, and homemade creations. Dave's ranch is one of the most incredible places I've ever been, and after the tour Dave and Jim loaded us up in their model T and A's to go on a little off road adventure on some old wagon roads that came out at a lakeside resort where had lunch. The day turned into far more than I was expecting and was one of the best I've had in a very long time. There will definitely be more adventures coming up with the T Bums!

Casey, I'm sure others will agree with me - you can do long videos like this ANY day you want to. I love the old vehicles and equipment (my old buddy had 2 T's - a two door and a coupe) so seeing people restoring and driving them is always an interesting watch for me, and I love seeing the old farm equipment. In high school we went to a farm that had old walking beam tractors that they used until the late 90's, and this brings back some really good memories.

I had no intent of watching all of this is one sitting but there was no way that I could pull myself away. To use your word, this was INCREADIBLE! I wish that my father-in-law (Andy Lessenden) was alive to enjoy this. Thank you Casey for again for sharing all of this. I will be sharing it with many that I know.
just think of the hours and hours that man has put in doing what he loves . I could watch this all day

Casey, I'm not sure you realize the impact you have made to all of us and yourself with this video but more to Dave and Jim. They both were fully aware of your interest and enthusiasm and are very proud that the simple things that they have and are doing can make a younger person take the time to embrace and grasp what they are trying to show you. Being a person of their age as well, I saw the twinkle in their eyes. Great job Casey.

Casey you were right, this was the longest video you have put out but it still wasn't long enough. Thank you 😊
One thing I love about old car guys is that EVERYTHING is a joke of some sort, they never take anything too serious.
A guided tour from this guy of his stuff is better than a trip to Disneyland!

Casey, you are very fortunate that those gentlemen let you in into their club...!!!!
That was the most enjoyable two hours I've spent in quite a while. Thank you for sharing your day with us. You find the greatest people and most interesting things.
This man is a genius, his place is a museum of tech and brilliant .
Love the old guys keeping the old stuff running.
What a privilege to spend a day with these old timers. Their knowledge and skills must not be forgotten by the younger generation. Absolute legends.
Dudes got a full blown personal farm equipment museum. He makes a good docent and could charge admission for school groups.
You were right, I had to watch the whole video, that guy needs to run his own museum, he has so much history and treasure on his land, one place I would love to visit,
Words can't say about what you have experienced and you bringing us along with you. The one gentleman you are talking to, graduated in 71, I graduated in 72. Casey, thank you for all you do❤
I'm sure he enjoyed showing off his creations as much as he enjoyed building them. Casey has a great appreciation for creation. Some of those unique contraptions may have been built out of necessity by farmers but never mass-manufactured.
The whole show was awe inspiring, the best bit was the dog with ball in mouth following hoping someone would play fetch!!!😂 Casey don,t buy a plane Please
Every time we think you can't find a more interesting rabbit hole you take us to a whole new land! This was amazing!
It’s an honor to get to hang out with old timers like them. I have an affinity for old equipment. The amount of mechanical genius and hard labor is unparalleled. The people that built it didn’t reach for their Milwaukee impact, or MIG welder.
Don’t ever apologize for a long video like this preserving history for the next generation. Very cool 😎
Incredible ! This video is well worth the time it takes to view it ! I am 75 years old and remember seeing some of this kind of stuff as a kid. So it was like a walk down memory lane. Thank You Casey and the T Bums.
Those guys are just amazing! More people like this is what the world would need. I tip my hat to the the fine men of the T-Bums!
Awesome history lesson!! Thanks to the T Bums for sharing what they love. Thanks for not caring about the algorithm crap and just putting it all in one video.
once started you can not stop watching, and I am wanting more. This is truly American history at its best. This video needs to be archived for humanity. This video should be shown to school kids. Casey....now you are challenged to top this video.
This old WVA fella wants to thank you Casey. Absolutely the best 2 hours I've spent in years. I honestly couldn't stop watching ❤
Casey, CCIWB should consider museum or tour dates. It would feed into maintaining this property's history and passion. I was 41mins into the video and stuck being entertained thoroughly. Now 1hr 28mins in, I feel like I have to come see. We need to maintain this passion and history.
That rig pulling an old school teardrop trailer…what a dream rig
Casey, I have so many comments. You didn't miss a thing, not even the rabbit. Like other viewers and commenters, I couldn't stop watching. I see you have 293k subs, this deserves a million views. As always, you made my time watching very entertaining. Thank you, Casey and new friends. Best words I heard ever, " get building". Honestly, what a pleasure to sit, this morning, and have my mind blown by such dedication to simplicity. Thank you all

WOW! Definitely need to spend more time with them. What a great group of guys.
Something I learned, and taught my kids, (well, they figured it out on their own).....OLD GUYS RULE!
The way Grumpy maintains his yard he would probably LOVE to keep an air strip going for you.
Those guys are a world of knowledge. You could spend months with them and they would still be able to show you and explain to you new old stuff.
I loved hanging around guys like that, when I was little. So much ingenuity, resourcefulness, and independence.
As an old guy I love to explain to youngin’s like you about what it was like way back when.
Holy cow Casey...FIRST you take a road trip and buy your beloved neighbor his dream car as a surprise gift, THEN you take a road trip to go buy one hell of a nice, really well thought out old Dodge modernized, 4x4 hot rod that is too cool for school and NEXT you make this incredibly interesting video with a little of EVERYTHING GOOD in it for nearly 2 hours! You have been ON FIRE Mr. Automotive-Related-Channel Oregon KZreadr! People are talking about and sharing all three of these videos online!
These older fellas need to make more video content on KZread, they're such cool characters... so glad you showcased all his Casey.
Beating car. I was born in early 50s so I have a soft spot for old cars. Casey you nailed it.
These guys should start a museum. Seeing the old equipment running and being maintained is fascinating.
I love this generation and their knowledge, I could listen to this stuff all day.
Man, those guys are tremendously amazing. Thanks for taking us along for all of that.
Merlin and the t-bum's need to get together!! That would be an epic video. That dude is freaking amazing.
Man I love this video. I love how thing was simply made back then and how far we have come. Great video Casey.
Amazing friends you’ve made Casey. I love that he kept saying some variation of “start building” to encourage the next generation of mad tinkerer.
Awesome video Casey! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure, that was so interesting! David is so lucky to have you as his boss, wish I could have found a job like his when I was his age. Yes, David needs to get a "T", now I'm going to go tinker on mine! Stay safe and healthy guys!
Damn you Casey, I'm in the middle of packing up to move on Monday and I figured I would just watch a few minutes, it's now an hour later and I'm not going to stop watching 😁, guess I'll just be packing afterwards and it will be well worth it. Keep up the Great work Casey I love the T-Bum's
Little Misses Kennedy. That phot of your baby girl dressing to match the car is adorable. My 2nd oldest daughter just graduated highschool. They grow up so fast so enjoy it while it lasts.
This was the most enjoyable videos I have watched on KZread this year! We have all seen the rusted hulks sitting in fields, etc, all across America. To have someone not only explain how those pieces of equipment works, then fires it up and shows you how it works, is really a treasure
Amazing! Can't get enough of this. That guy is a natural star like Fred Dibnah (1938 - 2004) Who was a steeplejack by trade, described himself as a backyard mechanic, and had a very popular UK TV series on Traction engines etc.

The knowledge these old timers have is invaluable. Casey you are incredibly lucky to know them. Started watch this vid thinking i would never get through it in one go, but nearly 2 hours later in what seemed like half hour I'm at the end wishing there was another 2 hours left. Great video Casey thanks.
Great Saturday morning with Casey and the T Bums, nice. Thanks for sharing.
Thats some serious talent and history there. Thanks Casey for taking us along!!
Thank you Casey for showing those cool old gentlemen and all in this video.Just could not stop watching.
Literally could spend all day just looking all the cool stuff he has...
Loved every minute of this video. At 73 yrs, it took me back to my 20s. Too poor to buy much but I needed a way to get fire wood out of the woods. I built my own Git-R-done tractor. Toyota rear-end shortened 12", 4 speed transmission, Renault front wheels, old tire chains for traction, and I borrowed the 8hp engine off the snowblower for the summer months. Pulleys and belts hooking the motor and transmission together, it was better than most yard tractors of the day. I pulled a trailer behind and cut the logs to stove length where the trees fell. It took care of my firewood needs for years and cost practically nothing to build. Scrap iron laying around and a junk car supplied everything.
I'm sure there were a few viewers that tuned out, but not this guy. I could look, listen, and learn (about this stuff) every day, forever. Did you notice how intricate the simple things were, and vice-versa. This is why they are called the "greatest" generation. Have a problem? SOLVE it! Find a way. We don't have time to whine about it! ...and all w/out Google! Cool builds, history lessons, and how-to videos all in one. Great video & great people. Thank you Casey, and thank the guys from all the interested/impressed viewers. I love the way David kept saying "start building" with a wink and a smile!
Awesome this place a real museum and the guy is so interesting and what skills his got ! Thanks for the history lesson Casey, and videos like this can be much longer
O my good gravy, Casey! This is absolutely amazing! I want to come and see all these wonderful inventions! Thanks foe sharing
Casey...long videos with so many cool people, knowledge, history, mechanical stuff, places, indoors, outdoors and scenery in them...JUST FINE, LOVE 'EM, THANK YOU, MORE WOULD BE GREAT!
You found some of the coolest old dudes on the planet! Such fun toys and history. Would be fun to hang out and hear the stories. Wonder if any of 'em will adopt me?
I’m 17 minutes in Casey and love it. You guys talking and hanging out together reminds me of my brother. He has restored older cars for years and is very talented with attention to detail. Like when you said all the gauges work, that would be my brother. He recently bought a 1948 Plymouth and took me for a ride. He took it out on the freeway to see what it would do. Smooth ride. I enjoy hanging out with him and listening to what he has been doing with his recent projects and sometimes getting a chance to help out. He spends winters in Arizona and took all his toys down there. Says he can drive them almost every day. He has a Model A that hasn’t has much work done on it, a beautiful completely restored 1964 Impala and a 1966 Mustang that is not show quality but everything works, runs, lights up etc. All original.

1 hour and 48 minutes of smiling. Never hardly watch more than30 minute videos. Too cool stuff Casey
You guys just made my day I’m 69 years old and I never seen nothing so cool, and wow the land just breathtaking. Appreciate you sharing with us. I’ll be watching for more until next time. Peace and chicken grease😁👋👋👍👍😎
My Grandpa would have been in heaven there, he loved old tractors and machinery like that.
This was the opposite of clickbaity title. I was pretty sceptical about this being a 2 hour video, but well, made my day too.
Far Freaking Out. Now that I am as old or older than these guys this brought back so many memories of my youths. Dave is a freaking genius, plain and simply. Thank you for taking us along on this amazing journey. Peace Out.
Absolutely epic! I’m 25 but love old junk and talking to people like that. I’d love to spend a day or forever doing that. Looks like so much fun! Thanks
So much history!!! Reminds me of my grandparents place. As a child I would spend hours playing on the old abandoned tractors and farm equipment! Thanks for keeping this from being forgotten!!
That Uber idea is a good one. I definitely would pay more for a ride.
Casey that car puts all modern cars in your rear view mirror.❤😊.
I have never watched a KZread video longer than 1/2 hour ... until now. Could not stop! Even my bladder didn't want to stop! The T-Bums rock!
Well that was a short video. 🤔 I have to say that I was sad to see it end. That has to be some of the most interesting gentlemen I have ever seen. I regret that I haven't met them, and I know that I am lesser for the missed opportunity. Every time I thought we had seen it all, you'd turn a corner and another surprise awaited. Then when I thought we had heard the best stories we were off for an adventure with even more tails and lessons. It is a shame I live on the opposite side of the country. The T-bums are a great group of guys. Thanks Casey for the adventure. I am looking forward to more.
These fellas are a goldmine. A real treasure and a look into my past. I'd call them old fellas except I'm the same age as them. And I haven't heard "crunchie grass" like that since we moved from the place of my early childhood.
Theses guys know how to enjoy life! I will have to watch it again.
What a life the older man has lived that you road with on the trail to the river. Some people don't like being around older people. I love them. The stories they can tell about thing's they have done far more interesting to me then hearing others complain. 😊
Thank you and thank the T bums. Took 3 sessions to watch but more than worth it. And definitely will watch again at least once more. Just too much to absorb. (and typically DO NOT like long videos) This was truly exceptional.
The wealth of knowledge of that group is incredible. I'd be just like Casey fanboying over all the old gadgets and cars.
Some good friends there. Learn all you can from them while they’re still here. I really like the people that are willing to share their experiences, knowledge, their enthusiasm. Thanks for bringing us along.
creds to your daughter, she is the sweetest, fitting so well!
This video by far was one of the most entertaining, interesting, informative shows I’ve ever watched! Wow, what amazing talent and knowledge these men have. I love the car club! Now you know why these men are of the greatest generation, they built things with their hands that really worked . America was great because of men like these, that are now your friends. Thank you for this Episode, it’s was the best!
WOW , what an awesome experience with these guys. They are a national treasure. I was going to watch maybe 30 minutes of the video and then watch the rest later , but I had to stay and watch all of it because I did not want to miss anything. I am happy to have been a part of it even as a viewer. Thanks for taking us along Casey , I really enjoyed all of this.. Was the snow caped mountains the Three Sisters?
With people like that around, the end of the world doesn't exist, it would simply be a new beginning! I loved that video, it reminded me of my late grandfather on my mother's side, he made windmills out of bicycle wheels and made electricity, using bicycle dynamos, and all other kinds of cool stuff, I mis him I think we have a picture of him in an old biplane!
i would love to just take that last drive and maybe 20 mins in just sit and talk to God the scenery is gorgeous. the fact he made all those machines crazy. lastly these are the types of friendships that make life enjoyable. thanks all for a fantastic day and video we are grateful for the history lesson along the way.
Wow! Casey 😊 I was prepared to watch this video in 2 segments but I watched it all the way through and hated for it to end😢❤ The T Bums are a wonderfully interesting group of great guys with knowledge and stories to share. More please!😊
This is the coolest video you have ever made I truly enjoyed it that is some very cool down to earth people. Thank you so much for sharing
Such a cool day! That was worth every minute! Thank you T-Bums and Casey n Crew!
I love those old machines, you can do video's like this whenever you want.
Casey this has been a fantastic trip through history. That guy is a great mechanic to be able to build all those machines and knows the history of them. You and David had some great history lessons on this trip. Make some more videos like this and I will watch them all. I have seen those old thrashing machines running. I am 80 years young!
I was entertained every second of this. Absolutely worth the watch! That was so much fun to come along with, thank you for filming and sharing! 🥰 It's so cool, I wanted to take his complete barn/hangar/garage/outbuildings content home with me!
Grandpa had a shaker table sieve grain cleaner that he'd converted to run off a 110v motor. We'd use it to treat a legacy variety of barley seed saved from the previous year's harvest. It had the double sack output augur, my dad taught me a variation of a Miller's knot to tie the seed bags.
You gotta love the love of the old school loving the lovely time tested loveliness of years gone by. Oh I love it.
Casey, your inner child is showing...and it's great
Loved every minute of the video! Some farm equipment I knew of but not the functionality of them. They place is a "dusty museum", a great place. Thanks for taking us along. Those men are a wealth of knowledge.
Hey Casey! I Love your new to you old car! Its AWESOME! I will watch some of this now and the rest later, but I know that I can leave a thumbs UP now! 👍
I have to say this is one of the coolest videos you've done. I love seeing old farms like this with all the old school equipment. The best bart is they all work.
You have a knack of bringing out anything interesting from anyone, especially the T-Bums
