The whole asking somebody to do aegyo or act cute is a cultural thing that is quite unfamiliar at the beginning, for me it was at least

Tae and Suga are the most savage in my opinion, I recommend checking out a V being savage video too! Also Jimin being sassy is funny too

aegyo is the act of doing something cute. its usually a little rhyme or song or action. its very big in idol culture, because most fans like seeing their idols do aegyo. i think boy groups especially, because they're men and get more embarrassed about acting cute (but this only fuels why people want to see it, say what you will of that). its a personal preference on whether you enjoy doing aegyo or find it cringey af. suga clearly is the latter (a reason why fans will go crazy if he does something cute). The show hosts were essentially using oldfashioned jokes. taegyo means "prenatal training". he was just rhyming aegyo with a random word. its basically a dad joke: eg. "leaf me alone". so suga basically says: "why would you even say that? thats a lame joke" later the other host brings up an aegyo called "1+1 = gwiyomi" its a song with a little dance to it that was popular back in the days. its basically ancient at this point, which is why suga says "isnt that from the 20th century?" because the hosts suggestion was like someone asking the dj to play usher or kesha in 2023.

aegyo is when an idol or person acts cute, but in the korean culture isn’t really use for just acting cute/lovely. you can have natural aegyo where you look cute or you can do aegyo but most seem to find it cringy doing aegyo. for example V doing the tata mic face can be considered as aegyo. but someone correct me if i’m wrong!

Since I can't explain by myself what 애교 (Aegyo) is ....I am bringing the Wiki definition hahahaha : "..in Korean refers to a cute display of affection often expressed through a cute voice, changes to speech, facial expressions, or gestures. Aegyo literally means behaving in a flirtatious, coquettish manner and it is commonly expected for both male and female K-pop idols" When the Host asked Suga to do 애교 (Aegyo) or Taegyo 태교 was a "dad joke" or a joke in korean when words sounds similar. Of course korean dad jokes are lost in translation for us, and Jin is known to know a lot of dad jokes. More about Aegyo, there was a popular song that idols were asked to do with cute hand movements and singing alone, the "Gwiyomi Song", so when the hosts asked Suga to do "1+1 = gwiyomi" they were asking to sing that song and do the hand cute movements, but Savage Suga said, that is old, notice that both host are his sunbaes(seniors) his reply was hilarious for me, because is like him call them "olds" or that they aren't updated with trends.

Fun reaction to our savage Suga! Btw, I want to let you know that there's a video called "A composer that collaborated with Suga tells us the difference between producer Suga & Agust D". I think you'll enjoy the video.

Yup....crushing herbs much better than cutting or blending, it lets out the natural oils in the herb, thus better flavor. Did you know that making a green salad or garden salad its better to tear the lettuce vs. Cutting it? Try it and you'll see less bruising and if left over torn lettuce will last longer in the fridge!❤😊

If you watch a V being savage video you’ll get those two are the most savage in the group lmao. Suga is more of a blunt savage while taehyung is just very naturally outspoken🤣 (I suggest the video “V/taehyung isn’t savage he was born savage” perfectly it perfectly describes how naturally savage he is without even trying😆)

I am cackling so much right now. Not you saying that Suga looks like he could be in My Chemical Romance, then saying that all you can hear in your head is Fall Out Boy, then proceeding to sing a song from Panic! At The Disco. There are tears in my eyes rn omg. Btw aegyo is basically a thing where people act ultra-cute. It's often playing up a child-like cuteness and innocence which often gets a positive response if done well in Korean culture. It can be done in several ways, sometimes to gain favour or sometimes to get your way or simply to be perceived as cute. It can be done is a bratty, fake-tantrum throwing way as well depending on the circumstances. I've only recently come around to the idea of it but I'll admit I couldn't quite understand it for some time.

usually after a 'savage Suga' compilation comes a 'Jin is the only one who can control savage Suga’ compilation, since he’s the only one older than Suga. Although there is a newer and longer one, I think the original one from 5 years ago with about 7.5 million views from “Yoongi’s illeGIRL” is the better compilation.

Yeah, right. Coz he's the villain right? He has no affection right? He has no love in his heart right? Sometimes implying he's lazy (to be fair, members still don't know abt his injury). (That's what yoongi always hear from the members and he himself would just accept it and projects it even more) And the other members are the oh so kind responsible caring affectionate bigger persons right? And as jin said they should be glad that yoongi isn't their eldest hyung right? As if they haven't said or did anything hurtful to yoongi (or even other members) or shading him behind his back even on cam right? (and there's a diff between a shade and a joke) Imagine being so thankful that his member reached out to him first inviting him to a meal when he was in a dark place while he was making his mixtape (festa 2020), just for that member to say that he didn't actually planned to have that meal on the day he just meant to set an appointment coz he have the stereotype that yoongi wouldn't accept...after all those years that they've been together, that passive concern can be hurtful. Yoongi wondering why it's unthinkable to the members that he sent V and JK a long msg w/ I love you. As a an audience to their interactions, maybe I can see other things that the members don't, yoongi's subtle acts of service even w/ that sharp mouth of his, his timid personality. Do they know how yoongi lights up when he felt they understood him, when he teases the members w/ his bullshits and a member recognizes his lies do they see and hear how happy yoongi says "you know me so well" w/ the sweetest smile? Yoongi's teasing is just his way of interacting w/ the members. When yoongi srsly speak his mind like in early years, members will say that he really has the talent to bring down the mood. What else can he do? The members wondered why Yoongi wouldn't talk about himself personally with them that much. Did they evaluate themselves? Did the members even realize that they are one of the biggest contributor to "Yoongi is savage" stereotype coz they treat yoongi's humor srsly and would act how scary yoongi is. As what I've come to understand with Yoongi's music and behavior, he just needs someone who wouldn't give up shattering his walls, spare him the nagging and tell him it's okay not to be okay, it's okay to complain, it's okay to be angry abt things, it's okay to cry, it's ok to rest, and just quietly stay with him. What yoongi's music feels like to us, maybe that's what he was longing for. Yoongi had become the devil's advocate among them (intentionally or unintentionally), a negative reenforcement, a negative, cynical point of view. It's a role that's not very welcomed but very vital to team growth. Someone that could bear hate and blame to be thrown at him all the while becoming the catalyst to make room for growth. It's not like I hate the members because they do love & care abt each other, but it's not also like I can't see their faults, and yoongi ain't free of faults either. Yoongi's "I don't care" attitude blinded everyone how f*cking sensitive and sentimental he is. He's an embodiment of "so weak yet so strong", "delicate but fiery", a person trying hard to be humane despite of all the things he've been going through.

I came back here to tell you that many Army are UPSET with Hybe over their decision to keep applying dynamic ticket pricing to their concerts, among a few other questionable business choices... Today we're protesting and some Army have been cancelling their weverse orders. I know you'd enjoy a little protest, so I'm letting you know in case you want to watch things unfold 👀

Who’s compiling the fallout. Also is the dynamic pricing something through Ticketmaster? If so that’s a misplaced blame and the cost of business when there is a monopoly. This is why they are being investigated by the us congress. If it’s on a platform other than Ticketmaster than that’s an issue and they are being greedy.

@@Jurnalist_ When fans in the US experienced the whole dynamic ticket pricing with ticketmaster and other distributors, we knew it was a recurring issue with these companies and we thought Hybe didn't have a say in the matter. However, Hybe recently published a their quarterly earnings conference call with updates on their revenues and future plans, and stated on that call that they opted in for dynamic ticket pricing in the US, and that they hope to apply a similar system or something as lucrative in other countries as well. It's in korean, so my information is coming from Army who understand korean... apparently Hybe is also planning to charge for features on weverse that have been free so far, and to add adverts and such to boost engagement with their membership services (I assume they mean you'll have to pay to remove ads and stuff like that). I saw people say that subtitles for weverse lives will be behind a paywall, but I'm not sure if that was also in that conference call... anyways, fans are feeling very betrayed. Honestly, Hybe would not exist without BigHit, and BigHit would not be a thing if fans didn't spend so much time and effort actively promoting BTS, adding subtitles to their videos, creating fan content that keep people engaged and doing god's work when it comes to PR! They saved tons of money thanks to fans being so invested and doing everything for free, but the biggest reason fans are so invested is the values that BigHit and BTS have been spreading throughout the years. You go against those values, you lose the fans 🤷‍♀

Jimin and Suga are well known for their Yoonmin bickering/ acting like married couple dynamics/ savage king vs sassy prince. Also Jin vs Army is pretty funny (as Jin is the comedy god himself). 💜

Suga and V are straight forward and have no filters in different ways. Suga is consciously savage, V is absolutely naive, that's why in vlives they are always alert when V talks 😅😅😅. But Suga loves BTS membes deeply and takes care of them silently.

I'm not a fan of savage moments videos bcs they make those members specially yoongi and tae look so cold and this video can easily make anyone think suga have some sort of problem with V 😂 but it's not true.. there are so many compilations like yoongi can't say no to tae and there are so many wholesome moments 😂💜
