Thanks Kevin, you have inspired so many of us in this hobby. After 30 years of rc experience, I’m still learning new tricks from your channel. You are the one that got me hooked on the XMaxx 8s and I enjoyed upgrading all my electronics on my channel. That max 6 hobbywing esc works so awesome and the upgraded metal geared servo is a must. @@BullyBoxer I mean it still handles quite well. The weight is something I like in a nitro monster truck. Honestly id like to see another like it but without as much problems. All in all though if they would at the very least support the current savage id keep buying.

I totally agree. I dont really see how a new x xmaxx is so much better. Yes it is electric and its easier and more convenient but the old nitro stuff with the sound and is awesome. The savage can be made to handle pretty good with some sway bars

Hi kev. Watching from South Africa. Hope you keeping well and safe during these times. Been seeing that you having issues with run aways. My best advice is to put an elastic on the throttle body that attaches to the carb. This way if the receiver dies or for some reason you lose connection to the rc the carb will automatically close preventing any runaways

This right here is why the savage makes an awesome, fun basher. Love your set up. Wow, run aways batman... hilarious when itz not yours . That RB sounded good and lasted s long time with out the airfilter I'm truly amazed. What an awesome afternoon. Had me and my son smiling and thinking about what we are gonna do with our rc's next outing.

I just bought my first hobby grade rc car Wednesday. I figured I would go cheap and just get a WLToys A959-B. It arrives Tuesday. But I bought it cuz of watching Kev’s review. If he says it’s not bad, I’ll sure buy it. Favorite rc guy on KZread by far 🤙🏻
