omg that's so true. I went to university and worked only to get money. That was all I thought about. I chose a major I knew would bring me money but I dropped university because I started feeling depressed and forgot who I was. Now I started doing voluntary work and am now really thinking about what I want to do in the future.

This is a wake up call for sure. This definitely reassures that I need to go for my passions and not settle like everyone wants me too.

I have my Saturn in Taurus and I've grown up poor lol, but I'm thankful for it because I know that if I want good things in life I need to work for it and plan for it. Also it has taught me to be happy with the bare minimum. I don't care if my material life is simple or small, as long as everything is clean and organized and budgeted. Financial security = bae :) And um yes my dad has been the type who struggles with money, always making me worry about it as I grew up.

This helps a lot right now because I'm 17 and my hardest internal debate is if I should pursue my passion or do something safe. My dad is realistic and a lot of my teachers say settle for the safe route but I truly feel like I cannot. Hell if I'm gonna risk it at least I'm doing it because It makes me happy.

Michigo Moe My father always insisted I go into "math or science"; I didn't. I'm glad. I'm 47. My astrology doesn't really say science, and I'm not supposed to go into math. What "Lord Finesse" said is very true: They'll be gone and "you will still be here doing what they made you do." Right! They will be gone or maybe in a nursing home. Parents are to develop adults, not control them to their last breath! I testify, and heard it when I was younger, if you do the expected, and what you're told to do, you will "blow up." Remember: Life is about you, not exclusively about money or pleasing others. Those things are just part of life; if they control you you end up living for someone or something else. If I will be miserable I want that in my own hands.

smol chimchim Sure. For a basic look, as far as is obvious at first glance, I don't have strong sixth or eleventh houses--that's how I knew. These houses relate to written analysis and objectivity, the first relates to math, the second relates to science.

So basically, Saturn in Taurus is saying "don't be like a Taurus"?

I have this placement but I don't want a lot except stability and what I really want is to accumulate experiences and memories(so all the stuff I keep are sentimental tbh). I want to experience the world in all it's beauty as well as wisdom. I want to feel, touch, smell and taste all the good and beauty of the world and know things that others may not tbh. I have no interest in really owning anything except maybe land so I can have my own little space with a little house and a bunch of trees with all kinds of fruits growing from the branches and in my dreams i'd live by a waterfall. ahhhh

So Saturn in Taurus just makes your life much harder, that sucks, so if I want something I can't get it because then I have to get it for a good and righteous reason not Cuz I just want it because Saturn is just gonna screw me over. This is probably the unluckiest Saturn sign, fuck, isn't being a Pisces unlucky enough

Animotost you are right... i thought i was such a boss when i found out that im an aries.. but my chart has fucking mercury in pisces which means i am really smart, but no one will ever find out and it will never benefit me when i rely on it.. and i have saturn in taurus ... on top of all the pressure i have from my parents for getting a good carrier and being successful in life... but i know i can do stuff if im determined and at least i have mars in taurus! I love my sun (Aries), Mars (Taurus), and moon (Aries as well) because these 3 are the best placements of my chart.. .jupiter in taurus and taurus rising also helps me :D overall... i can work with my chart, but i have one of the worst luck ever

This felt like a therapy session in a good way. :) I have my ascendant in Sagittarius and my Saturn is in Taurus. The accumulation of things I keep in my house, my nonstop lurking online and have a list of things I should buy "Just in case." I don't necessarily do it for the sake of being an obsessive consumer but mainly to fill the void of my idea of a "good future" and desire to travel. I do enjoy giving and would like to give more and I got depressed thinking about how unlikely it could be due to the financial situation I am in. It all makes sense now, I should stop living in a bubble and think about getting out of my comfort zone; understanding the reason of why I buy certain things and finding my passion will help me get there. I have Saturn retrograding in Taurus next to the sun, North node and Lilith in my D9 chart and I TOTALLY recall what you said, in my life. And so I feel all this guilt, because all the things I've bought when I instead should've saved them. Worst part is that it always end up with me giving it all away to charity since I move around a lot and can't sell it.

My grandmother has her saturn in taurus and she is very stingy but for a good reason. I know that my grandfather who is a Leo and loves pleasures made some financial crimes in the past and ended up with huge debt and then my grandmother had to spend years saving and saving to pay it of. Also she never feels like she deserves pleasures or stuff sometimes she buys stuff for herself and then feals bad and gives it to me lol

lol i have saturn in taurus, but with a cap rising and sun and i really want a stable life and live a luxurious lifestyle... ah and im already saturn dominant and ruled so this just amplifies it lol but i have realized i need to do something that makes me happy and something i want to do.. im still trying to figure it out. this also makes so much fucking sense cause for the past 4 years i have had trouble getting a stable and secure car because i always wanted to save money and not spend more and it just BIT me in the ass. saturn is forever teaching me lessons... ugh lol

This placement just bit me in the ass. I sent up a payment on PayPal, forgot about it. Used the PayPal for buying shoes, that I didn't really need. Can you do Saturn in Gemini? Yeah, I know Gemini's can be impatient, but not as impatient as Aries. (even though Aries already has a Saturn video.) This has been a very enlightening interpretation of Saturn in Taurus (Thank You). The month you published this video is the month I moved from a 4 bdrm house to a 1 bdrm apt. I am still getting rid of my emotional items I have been hoarding.I did see my father use money to manipulate other humans which I strongly disagreed with that action to a degree of telling him it was wrong to use money to control weak humans that way. (btw I still love him but I grew up not being close to him). You are right about using the chaos of the present time and being able to give it a solid foundation for the only reason "been there, done that" theory. (Sun + Saturn in Taurus in the 10th house)
