Good morning, Brother Pete, Always happy to see another Stockman video especially one of those Craftsman knives. I've got a wooden handle Craftsman knife in that size. I especially like the long pull nail nick. I think the Camillus knives from back in the day were some of the best of the time.

Those are both Fantastic Pete. Thanks for Showing them. I googled C Risner Indian head knives and an article from traditional pocket knives came up explaining the history of it. Very cool.

That Indian Head was a great find. I can see why you fell in love with it. The Craftsman is a nostalgic piece. When I was a kid my father and I went to Sears and Sears Surplus stores quite often looking for deals on tools. I still have and use the tools that I got way back then. Buy quality and use it for life then pass it down.

Love the cream yellow scales on the Sears/Craftsman . Who was the manufacturer of Craftsman knives. I’ve got a stockman with the funky clip blade you were speaking about. The Indian Head is terrific. Thanks for this video .

Nice knives. I like seeing brands outside of the more common (Case, RR, etc.). Took an OT shift today. Thanks for the look. Life is expensive these days. Keep your head up and have a great weekend.

A really nice pair of Stockman's Pete. Hard to find an old Craftsman in great shape like yours. The Indian Head looks to be an outstanding piece too. There is nothing finer than a very well made classic beauty of a traditional pocket knife, imo. Thanks for showing us both of them.

@@jerseyknifeguy6382 Yeah Pete, hope you have a wonderful visit with your MI, always keep the family close. Not much happening this weekend, just getting ready for the big event at the Wednesday night fireworks. We lost our dog, our sweet buddy of 8 years, suddenly in April. He hated the sound of fireworks but was wonderous of the light show so every 4th we would go about 4-5 miles out of town to an overlook and watch them there, it was quiet. I think I'll do that this year too, unfortunately without him.

Love watching and hangin out . I have some white handled plastic sided old USA Schrade ,,, with some marks from polishing the carbon steel blades… any tips on cleaning?. ( I guess I should have been more carefull.

Great knives!!! Was going to do a Saturday stockman on my NOS Craftsman 50th anniversary but will pick another one and show this one later on 😅 I do believe that one is made by Schrade.

@@JimthechevywheelmanBoth companies made knives for Sears, and usually I would say it was made by either or. But I have this knife and it is an exact match to my 1983 Schrade heritage Stockman. The only difference is the bone and fluted bolster on the heritage. The blades, size, and shape are exact matches and that is the reason I said Schrade. Was not trying to step on any toes.

And I wasn’t sure but I was under the impression that camillus did quite a bit of contract work for Sears . I didn’t mean to step on toe s either. But just wondering if it was Camillus . Thanks for the ( more than my guess) informed info.

@@Jimthechevywheelman Don't take what I say as gospel. I have a couple of Camillus knives that match up VERY well with Schrade knives and both companies made knives for the same companies. Never know unless you have a catalog to verify. Maybe this is why I love knives so much 😃
