The quality of this GEC Barlow is off of the charts! Hmm, growing up, I don't recall seeing larger sized Barlow pattern folders, maybe that's an American thing? Up here, in Canada, Barlow folders were mainly small pocket-dropper knives toted by blue-collar workmen.

That’s a dang good looking knife, I like the way it’s almost equal ended, and bigger than a traditional Barlow. Richlite is layered paper I believe. I have a GEC grail knife, I have always wanted a #35 cattleman with oxblood covers. Can’t never find one though, saw 2 on evilBay for nearly $700 each. That’s ridiculous. I only like a few of their patterns, I think a lot of them are kinda hokey. Thanks for sharing this nice knife brother.

Hey bud, cool video! I used to have one in the sawcut Caribbean blue that was fantastic. I ended up giving it to a friend but it was a cool knife. My favorite from your collection is the red bone with the script / threaded bolster💎💘. Looks great! I’m partial to barlows without shields though… take care and happy 4th 🇺🇸

Happy 4th of July Pete. Today I have decided to carry My R.R. High carbon Canoe with Titanium coated Blades R.R. 1571. I will be spending the day sharpening my knives. Also will be looking into the Spyder co. Dragon fly as a gift for my Daughter. Have a great 4th.

Today in my pocket I carried R.R. Stockman, In my EDC bag that was strapped to my chest I carried R.R. Small Tooth pick, which I used to fix a wiring issue, R.R. Glow Stockman, and a Carnivore Jack. I haven't decided yet what I will carry on the 4th, but you got me thinking.

They make a Keychain size fero rod with a firesteel. You should put that on your key setup. Exotec Nano striker. I bought and sold the Federalist. Crappy action, and it's a double detent. Less safe than a slipjoint. If it was a slippie i would have kept it.

I’m trying to decide between new buck 112 ( the walnut dymalux, s35 ) that you twisted my arm on lol, or one of my civivi praxis for the bigger folder, and either the berry red pioneer and rosecraft stag savage creek, or ulster Boy Scout camp knife and chestnut bone peanut as backup pocket droppers. That Job Case Barlow is fantastic! I only have two Case Barlows. I need to remedy that. My only negative with the Case Barlows is when they put a shield in the handle. I like them more when they emboss the bolster. To me, if a Barlow is going to have billboarding, it goes on the bolster. No shield for Barlows. Case definitely has the prettiest bone in the knife world. I have found that Bear & Son is still iffy. However, they do much better with their wood cover than their bone. I think some people are over-hyping them. I agree with what you said. They have upped their game but they are from the best describes them well. Great video, Pete. Have a great 4th of July.

Baxters blades does a good bit of barlow videos, I guess the reason I don’t have more barlows is because they’re kinda small for me. And about the bolsters, I feel like that’s where the markings should be on a barlow specifically. Have a good 4th Pete!

The Job Case is My fav of your collection, but I do really like the Gray Jigged bone carbon steel Barlow allot. You know I don't remember ever owning a Case knife, and the only Barlow I own is the R.R. Small white smooth bone single blade, which I really like allot. You just cant beat the Carbon steel. I would love to get my hands on a Carbon steel Stockman. Nice set of Barlow's. Thanks for showing them. You will get to the tree when you get to it. Be safe Bro. Have a happy 4th.

Those Case Barlows are pretty nice. I have my special 4th of July carry almost ready to go. I made a special fixed blade for the 4th. Just put a finish on the scales tonight. Next will be sharpening. I'll shoot the video tomorrow you are going to like this one!
