Rosewood handles!! Nice looking material. Jigged like the bone handles! Got two because The shiny bolsters, just the jewelry finish look just buys me every time.

Great looking knife. I got my grandfather's 1983 out prolly less than a week ago & finally gave it a good cleaning up. He really used it so it's a little rougher than yours. I'll now carry it around the house some in my pocket to keep it shined up a bit. It's still a great knife though. I may have to buy the new version of it to carry out & about some in honor of him.

Hey Bryan, i think i have this knife or something very similar to it, I found it in some things my grandfather left me after he passed years ago, the only difference is mine doesn't say USA it just says CASE then XX below it and on the other side i could make out the 6265 SAB. Any info would be amazing thanks!

If it has a C with a tail that underlines Case, with XX underneath without U.S.A, it is most likely made from the years of 1920-1940, and is very valuable depending on condition, if it just has CASE, with XX underneath, and no U.S.A, its most likely made from the years 1940-1964, which is still pretty valuable. The 6265, decodes as follows, 6- Type of handle material, 2- number of blades, 65- Folding Hunter, and the SAB stands for Saber Ground. I would need to see a detailed pic of the tang stamp to make a more accurate conclusion. You can also check out www.wrcase.com/case_college/tang_stamps/, and find your tang stamp dates. Hope this helps.
