@@jasonbennett7400 as a guardian tactical fan you must have experienced that kinda stuff but in this case you are mistaking the sound with a strong and reliable spring. I can assure you theres no scraping whatsoever. I do agree that guardian tactical has decent U.S. manufactured knives but it doesn't make sense to compare them with the #1 OTF manufacturer Microtech. They are in a very weird position in the industry since everything they got going for them is getting outperformed. If Microtech just isn't for you I recommend looking up Heretic, Hogue and Benchmade OTF's.

@@ham5483 Its just black, they are not even colored. Its nothing but another accessory. I don't understand the female aspect (unless they were way longer and colorful) but rather feel like a rockstar + it pulls attention from my skeleton hands and weird shaped thumbs 😎

I doubt you'd want it since I use it daily. It has some scratches in the handle by now 😅 the dlc coat on the blade holds up way better than I'd ever expected though!

Are those available with the Texas design

I am not sure what you mean but this is a VERY special edition. Not only do normal ones not have the texas logo, just the claw logo but this is also the only one that I am aware of that has such a special handle. It is not just 3 colors but 3 pieces perfectly put together! I looked inside and discovered that the base of the handle is actually blue meaning the grey will come off and reveal the bright color over time!! This was not advertised and I think this makes it one of the coolest ultratechs ever made even retailing far below other versions! - Its used almost daily by me and I am planning to post a Update in a Year showing how the dlc-coating lasted etc.

You need a lot of strength to push the putton, its impossible to open by accident. It still has a safety function that keeps the blade from fully deploying if it runs into something while opening.

@@erenjeager5290oh of course, I bought this after months of research finding its the best EDC for me. Because of how the blade retracts, you will never have to touch it and can get it out of the way if someone runs into you while working with it without slicing anyone. I still use it daily and have yet to cut myself with it. The blade material stays sharp for a shockingly long time (its build extremely strong on general) and even if anything ever happens, - you got a life-long guarantee and amazing customer service! To top it all off, if you buy a limited model like me, its even an investment that rises in value! If you can you should go for it - you wont regret it! ;)

At this point in time absolutely nowhere, they sold out quite fast over a year ago. You might get lucky on reddit though!

I wish they would steer away from the dagger edge and do more tanto, clip point, straight edge blades

I've lived in Houston, Texas 70 years so, I've got to have one. I usually don't spend that much on a knife. Mostly tend to look at them as tools.

...is way above average for an OTF, especially this durable! Its just the glassbreaker on the back that makes the handle seem bigger.

@@timblosch3717 the standard version of the same exact model costs around $300-350 but I payed almost twice as much for this one because it is a very limited exlusive version with additional ceracoat on the handle and DLC coating on the blade
