  I bought one today and already have to send to microtech cause sometimes the blade doesn't retract and I have to reset it. Ridiculous I'm not rich and saved for this

  It sounded like metal scraping when you opened it. For that price it should be smooth. Guardian tactical is the go to.

  @@jasonbennett7400 as a guardian tactical fan you must have experienced that kinda stuff but in this case you are mistaking the sound with a strong and reliable spring. I can assure you theres no scraping whatsoever. I do agree that guardian tactical has decent U.S. manufactured knives but it doesn't make sense to compare them with the #1 OTF manufacturer Microtech. They are in a very weird position in the industry since everything they got going for them is getting outperformed. If Microtech just isn't for you I recommend looking up Heretic, Hogue and Benchmade OTF's.

  That’s a beautiful knife fr. I love my Ultratech! Microtech really is a great company. The only people who crap on their knives are coping because they don’t have one 🤷‍♂️
