    I think there is high chance quantum computers and superposition oscillators will come out at 1.0 to as those are most likely end game items and will most likely be in tier 9. I think they will be saving the last tiers for 1.0. They want 1.0 to be a big update so I doubt they will add a new tier as a tier contains lots of new things. Things that we don’t know about that is most likely only for 1.0.

    @@teamruddy611 I think this video would of said what is in 1.0 if there was announcement for 1.0 Totalxclips would of saw the announcement too as he makes sure to get every news and hints coffee stain studio gives out. I haven’t seen anything for 1.0 just the small update 9 hint. Coffee stain is on break right now and they have not posted an official update video yet. The most we seen was the update 9 hint.

    @@rian222 yes, but the parachute meant to be a consumable. It was never supposted to be used forever. And even if we ignore this, one mistake does not justify another mistake.

    I always assumed the voice messages near the Alien Artifacts were a trap. Especially the message about parental unit needing an alien artifact to survive. They want to be collected and sent back to our home planet so they can infect or colonize.

    I was always skeptical about this but the more I think about it the more I think your right. they are trying to trick us to collecting them. im getting a very "brothers from myst" vibe like the mercer spheres and somersloops are competing to be collected first.

    I'd like to see the addition of lifts to help us traverse vertical factories. We have conveyor lifts so this can hopefully be updated to character lifts

    I'd love to see an update where drones can fly to multiple ports. It would be nice to be able to "pollenate" ports with one battery delivery drone or any other item.

    MK2 buildables are at the top of my wish list. With new stages for the Space Elevator, the amount of machines, the space taken and the time consumed get ridiculous.

    I just want some stability and optimisations before Update 9. Started a dedi server with some friends over Christmas, we've been rendered unable to use hypertubes or vehicles because of such frequent disconnect issues causing us to lose inventories. I think I'd be perfectly happy with Update 9 being a QOL/stability/fixes patch so they have a solid base to work with for the 1.0 release. Nothing will kill my hype for 1.0 more than if they just work on tons of new features without addressing the pain points that exist currently

    @@Nymblys I'm the host of the server, my girlfriend cannot use hypertubes whatsoever since update 8. Either she gets sent to oblivion or gets stuck in them and has to reconnect. Also, when she goes exploring it's more of a bug adventure than an adventure itself. Idk how, but with all the features and changes added in U8, everything in multiplayer became even more insufferable for the ones joining a session, that was not the case in U7, although the disclaimer made you think otherwise. Now it really makes you pay attention.

    Train lovers relly REALLY need more options! Trains always taking the shortest route while there is a free alternative track available for example. The path finding really needs a big update! Furthermore, loading and offloading on the same platform I would like. I haven't played Factorio but did play OpenTTD extensively and the paths/signs are so much better. If I have four trains dedicated to offloading ore at station A, I want to build two stations, both A. If Train 1 arrives and the first platform A is free, offload there. If train B arrives, it can offload ar platform B. Waiting bays and stuff. Currently we need to build four different bulky stations that are totally independent of eachother. Its rubish... 😢

    I would love more train skins, or locomotives and coaches. Essentially there could be diesel trains, or at least passenger cars. Regular trains and High speed ones requiring more energy. But with the dedicated servers I think passenger wagons, with fps view and windows is a must

    I believe the MK3 miners fix will come with 1.0 and will also include the balance changes to the recipes. I think the MK3 miners will get capped at the speed of an MK5 belt and all the recipes will be adjusted downward to fit in with this new max. This will eliminate the need for MK6 belts and make the calculations that the CPU needs to do smaller and theoretically make the game easier to run for lower-end systems too. I also wish the gas pillars would eventually be harvestable so we can automate biofuel.

    I would love to see a 2 power connection point on the manufactures, smelters and so on. It would make it les of a power spaghetti because you can put the power cables in serie instead of parallel.

    This is the only mod I've considered using. So much time gets spent on making power connections look good (although blueprints helped a lot with that).

    Hopefully the fix these bugs and balancing issues: -Had several times concrete foundations have the lowest texture loaded even though im standing right ontop of it. -Sometimes if i delete 3 or more splitters or Industrial storages the black squares for conveyors stay floating around. -Belts look empty but have materials on them. They need to balance the amount of Coal, Fuel generators and Ingots buildings to consume atleast 2x more... It's zero fun building 120 Coal powerplants or 200 fuel generators or like 60 buildings for an impure node

    A zipper merger would make a huge difference to the usefulness of smart and programmable splitters. I really hope we see something like that.... and more options for materials.

    Infinite Zoop! I use the mod for infinite zoop right now, but locking it in the MAM behind high end game items (nuclear pasta for max zoopability, or whatever) would be nice.

    My prediction is SAM Ore will be used to create teleportation/transformation buildables in a new tree in that theme. However since accessing containers remotely and teleporting yourself to other places on the map is very powerful, I think they will want to limit those options. So that is where Mercer Spheres and Sommersloops will come in. Both of those will be used each(probably needing multiple to create this item, in combination with a SAM Ore buildable to create something that will allow you to create Stargates for instantaneous travel between 2 connected gates(limited by how many lets say sommersloops you have), and Mercer Spheres to be used in creating a buildable that will allow you to connect to a storage container remotely from anywhere. Therefore allowing you to be able to access you finished resources from anywhere. This will allow you to add more remote containers and stargates by exploring and getting more sommersloops and Mercer Spheres, giving a huge benefit to collecting these items, and well it puts a limit on both of these abilities with the amount available in the world. This seems logical to me.

    What I would love to see is the ability to snap splitters/mergers directly to buildable outputs/inputs. This would solve the Overclocked MK3 miner problem, as well as letting you get around belt speed limitations in a few other use cases (such as a exploiting pure mineral nodes in the early game). Might help performance a bit too since your factory would just have fewer belts. There would be some restrictions in place so items would always enter OR exit the splitter/merger on a belt so you couldn't use this feature to get around belt speeds entirely.

    I don't think we will see a bigger blueprint thingy. They are really keen on making it feel like a puzzle, so limiting size is one of the factors there.

    Bringing belt speeds up to better match machine outputs would be fundamental for me as it would improve the accuracy of calculating input/output priorities for production. And I’d really like if they gave us a 5x5 designer not the 4x4 blueprint machine as 5x5x5 is for me the minimal odd-number size for many symmetrical designs.

    Vertical splitters and mergers (basically, be able to connect a conveyor lift to the top or bottom of a splitter/merger, or connect stacked splitters/mergers). Ratios for programmable splitters. Priority/programmable mergers. Ability to connect machines' power cables in series (that is, allow two connections per machine connector) so we don't have to run cables all over the place. More wall and floor materials. And most of all, make trains more useful: Allow for setting load/unload items per train car instead of for whole trains, so we don't have to align the platform assignments between multiple stations served by multiple trains. Improve snapping and alignment of tracks, so we can for example build longer smooth slopes or curves consisting of more than one track piece, without having to try and align foundations in just the right way to avoid bumps in either direction. Allow easy building of parallel tracks, which is a common use case, without having to rely on foundations. Allow for assigning weights to parts of the rail network or similar means so one can have some influence over the routing instead of trains always taking the shortest route - this would also enable bypasses and the likes. And for the love of $deity, please make the "Wait until full load/unload" option actually work as intended and advertised... instead of making trains stop forever!

    Maybe they could implement a "Prestige" system. Where after getting to endgame you get, or choose, a specific bonus and/or unlock and a fancy tiered badge to show off and restart. Would incentivize more run throughs. Definitely want a more dynamic train logic that path checks as it goes by signals. Maybe even the ability to set sections primary and secondary routes at a Train Command and Control Center? Crazier thought, what if after successfully completing everything you get to go to a new world with a different layout and/or different ores? Could be something for much much later if it is even a thought at the moment. But all I really want is more animations for the lizard doggo, the single pat on the head is not enough honestly.

    I wish Mk2 and Mk3 buildings were a thing. I've been playing with a mod that adds them and it's so nice to trim down factories! Also I have always wanted the ability to fine tune the amount of items per minute a programmable splitter allows to pass to make manifold systems or "overflow" belts run as intended. I've been running into the issue where I need need to do some odd balancing like 4 to 5 where it's just easier and more space efficient for me to set up an overflow line that fills after the other lines over saturate. Being able to set up a splitter that lets me siphon off the amount needed from the start would be such a nice quality of life feature.

    Dedicated servers need love. Optimizations on those are needed badly. It horrible with you get DC’d and character is lost as well.

    My only major wants are new MK belts, And Mk.2 constructors / oil refinery. Maybe even a Mk.2 smelter. I know Coffee Stain seems to be against such things. But overclocking isn't enough when you have large factories. Aside from that, more building pieces would be great!

    I'm with you on not formally finishing the game until 1.0 comes out. I got sorta close. But now I'm all about the Architecture. One mod that looks interesting is Satisfactory Plus, which is a whole new game essentially. Thanks for your content! Adding more tiers to the space elevator might be a way to go.

    they have already said that they dont want to do mk2 buildings. also im fairly sure that the mk3 miner fix is going to come along with the recipie rebalance. my guess is that the miner outputs are going to be rebalanced and reduced, maxing out at 720 on a 250% mk3 miner. of course rebalancing all the buildings and conveyors to match. I think this will all be saved for 1.0

    Obviously, the best way to garner hype will be to make update "10" actually "1.0" I can picture it already. They don't even say anything, just a fade in of a 10, then a decimal slowly appears. Maybe there's a date, maybe not. You can have that for free Coffee Stain.

    I thought of that too when I realised they were getting closer to 10, would be a stella marketing ploy and I like your idea of the decimal coming in slowly, nice touch. Im new to the game, only coming in a few months ago on update 8, so I havent seen the game evolve but its already taken the lions share of my gaming hours as I strive for more and more efficiency in my builds! ( I gave up on doing the final parts challenge, prefering to start again and work cleaner, with no spaghetti!)

    We need 1.0 … with the complete world update and the story. After that they can continue with new tiers and new content. Early access gone on far too long and I can’t start over before I know that there are no major world changes. Since Update 6 I never touched the game again because of this.

    so planet crafter recently added a mechanic where you can "build a portal to a random place on the planet with a crashed ship." which in reality is essentially a randomly generated instance machine that creates a random area with a random biome and a random crashed ship. its a way to get rare resources, and even exclusive resources, infinitely regardless of the size or contents of the actual map. i could see something like this in satisfactory, mainly as a way to infinitely find more hard drives, sam, sloops and spheres for whatever they will be used for so you arent limited. like how you can infinitely find power slugs with doggos.

    One relatively minor thing that needs some attention, both the east and west coasts of the map need to expand their water extraction limits. There's a seemingly arbitrary line where you just cant place water extractors anymore, and it is far before the building boundary or the death boundary kick in. Not everyone builds out that way, but I've had to rework two major projects now because I ran into that issue.

    I would love to be able to build a home with furniture and electronics that have a purpose in the game. I just think it would really break up the monotonousness of the game.

    Thanks for this posting as of Jace's departure the announcement and chats have gone the sounds of crickets... For first time I dropped full time play for other games. Granted I was devout player over 3 years. Been spending too much time on NMS and yet I quite often scream in uder frustration of Hello Games build errors got spoiled on ease of building in Satisfactory.

    I hope they make dedicated servers and net code more stable again. I loved to play with friends on a server, so it isn't mandatory for someone to leave his private PC always on while the factory is producing over night. So some bug fixing and better Multiplayer support is really necessary, much more than a lot of extra story content.

    Great video I'll head back to my cryo-chamber and you can wake me up when 1.0 drops thanks. But all seriousness I'm super excited for every drop if new content they bring. I really would love to see some changes to alternative recipes they seem just not right to me but I also dont have a great fix myself at the moment. If it ever comes for me to choose between new content and a broken world I would take that deal in a heartbeat everytime. At least with my current skillniveau. Ain't losing much xD

    I found trains and vehicles to be a bit superfluous. Although my 'base' spreads throughout the entire map, I don't mind the travel by hyperloop and all my resources are either piped or conveyered. I don't even bother using smart splitters to run multiple resources down the one belt, I just build multiple belts on top of each other (belt stacks are about, on average, seven high). Watching the video, I am wondering if I have done something wrong, as I don't have that many refineries. The few I have, all have three power shards. I did have a few at the start to fuel generators, but once I reached nuclear, I ended up removing most of the generators as they took up too much room. That's a point, I still haven't built a drone port either (no need). This was my second Christmas, so I was able to finish the chrimbo tree. Looking forward to update 9 for more stuff to do.

    Quick question …a bit random but one I have always wanted to ask …is there no way to cut down or eliminate the Bamboo trees when they are saplings …it sucks that they can grow through foundations and can’t cut them down with the chainsaw ….

    I'd like to see an Overhaul of Pipes. My two cents? Over-pressurize Pipes and the ability to get out Air. Why? Get rid of the 'sloshing' of water and just have gases work the same way. Pretty, pretty please 8). It's not fun for old players, and new players will dislike the mechanic as it is counter intuitive imho (even if it might be more 'realistic')

    mk5 belt (780/min) can't move all the resources that a overclocked mk3 miner on a pure node can produce (1200/min)

    many to many train networks are the only thing keeping me from continuing my playthroughs in the game. proper trains are such a necessity

    Nah, I don't want faster trains or teleportation. I think building transportation and then setting up a new factory in a new area is part of the pioneering challenge. And once it's finally up and running it's also more... you know... satisfactory. Fasttraveling would kinda ruin the immersion for me. i learned to take my time and patiently build all I need or want once at a time. I enjoy the game much more like this, instead of rushing trough the tiers.

    I would bet (small denomination) money that those blocked cave entrances in the desert crater are story related. I also think the fix to mark three miners outpacing belts has something to do with SPOs and teleportation rather than balancing of the outputs and speeds.

    Yes I agree, It seemed from Snutts answer that this is case (for MK3 miners). Not neccesarry teleportation, but something high tier. They said there will be no snow or any new biome, as the map is finished, so the only solution for this is caves. Like in Subnautica, going deeper. I hope it will be super hazardous requireing good preparation.

    @@Neo-vz8nh I think the caves are a good angle. similar to how they have placed uranium nodes in caves, making them a hazard you have to prepare for.

    There is a simple, elegant, and yet entirely underwhelming solution to the entire "mark3 miner issue" (which really isn't an issue, it's a perceived one)... And neatly solves a lot of the issues around faster belts. - Halve the output of all resource nodes. - compensate by halving the input and outputs of all recipes, including buildables. Now you suddenly get everything running smoother, stacks of stuff become more "more valuable", vehicles, trains, drones become more efficient. belts become more efficient. the only downside is the "but now I can only build half as many items / min. And yeah, to not annoy players, this'll probably not happen until 1.0

    Absolutely agree with the refinery spam. We need a new higher tier building, that will consolidate their job into a more compact unit. Of all the buildings, in the game, I find the refinery the least appealing visually as well.

    i have been playing the mining game as of late since i kind of got burned out playing sat, after having like 1200 hr offline an only a small faction showing online since my move. i was thinking its time to go back to play the game again, when this video popped off only to watch it later on because of being busy glad to see the devs are still chugging along. playing a game with unlimited vs finite ores really changes how you play so glad that was not the case with this game were nodes would randomly show up. heck a mixed nodes ranked parts might be better for smart splitter and give them more use cases since a certain game has mixed nodes that be neat to see in update 9 it give more new tech that way. also if the game never goes 5.3 it will never have vr support because nanite /vr is only in unreal 5.3 and up.

    Right now the only thing that makes me not using vehicles is that the belts stop during animations and truck and train stations don t draw a constant amount of power. I always try to have my power consumption flat that way I know I am 100% efficient. The moment you start with vehicles you basically add RNG imo. I'd like that to be tweaked

    It still displays max power though, so just add batteries to deal with the flux. As for the animations, you can use a buffer to stop that issue

    @@TotalXclipse yes, a buffer will keep the belts moving at all time, but at a slower rate then, you are still limited by the 1st belt coming out of the station. For the power I am not concerned so much about the consumption itself but more of the satisfaction of having a flat line. Batteries won t help that

    Creating 120+refineries at a time gets pretty tedious, even with a blueprint. I still can't stop playing though. Finished the last phase and yet to even start nuclear. But here I go starting a new save again!

    really hope for 1.0 "soon"TM because I feel a bit "meh" about starting a big gamerun knowing I will have to do it yet again "soon"TM when 1.0 comes out... atm I am on "standby" not really playing or if I play I am just faffing about experimenting with some designs and such

    I think in their last community update they said this was going to be the last major update to get it ready for 1.0 so they might not be introducing anything too major and think they want to just get all the bugs and nailed down and basically some changes in the game. I think if they were to introduce something it would be the new tier 10 for the space elevator and use resource's they already have to make something new. If they were going to put something new in but I would like to see a new Mk 2 train system because right now my hyper loop can get me to the next location much faster and thinking of transporting my goods I wish I could use the hyper loop to send my trains through so can get there faster lol.

    I'm still not convinced mk 3 miners even need fixing. It's alien artifacts (power slugs) that enable the miners to exceed the maximum belt speed, so why would a prefab building be able to handle a situation not previously possible?

    Satisfactory is an amazing game, but I stopped playing it about a year ago in hoped for 1.0. I want to “forget” as much of the game as possible so it feels fresh again.

    End game stuff will probably need some adjustion. Basic stuff won't. I don't think itwill be as bad as Update 3.

    Recipe and miner output adjustments will throw off factories so much that people will not want to figure out how to fix their factories. Forcing a restart at 1.0 so everyone experiences the full 1.0 story and game from the beginning is probably the best path forward.

    Coffee Stain Studios has been remarkable all the way with the constant news, updates and livestreams but i'll have to admit it's getting hard to wait literal years for the full release I know I probably don't fully understand how complex it is to bring such a rich game to life but I feel like the updates are not large enough to justify picking the game up again and playing it, so the best course of action becomes to completely forget about it and come back 2 or 3 years later (which I can't do because i'm way too invested in videos like this one lol)

    Nice video I hope for this year they going to add some end game mechanics so i can enjoy the play something like factorio have ... I am bored in the game now coz there is no objective ... I am not interested in more buildings or more features for now i want the end game and objectives ... also the blueprint designer i dont like it right now i think they should put in the game some toll wich allows you to make blueprints i dont like that you have to make the blueprint inside the designer i think its too overcomplicate ... would be nice to have option to create blueprints the same way as you put colour on the foundations ... liek to colour and are which will work as a blueprint ... but yea we will see hopefully we get something nice soon coz its a bit too late without something big i would say ...

    My running theory as of the release of Update 8 on EA is: Update 9 will contain the large recipe balance CSS has talked about previously (including more alternate recipes as you mentioned), and the "fix" to MKII Miners output rate (among other things of course). Also a potential fix to the 600 fluid bug as well. They MAY do an update 10 before 1.0, but if my predictions above are at least fairly accurate, I'm guessing Update 10 is 1.0. I image they want the game feature ready and "finished" by early-mid 2025.

    I really hope they dont add teleportation as that would ruin the logistics aspect of the game especially stuff like trains. Even if its a very late unlock or extremely expensive it would bypass what is a core challenge of the game. Hopefully the superposition occilators are used in some sort of warp drive instead.

    I made a joke a while ago on the Satisfactory Subreddit, where I called the warped voice from the artifacts “Anti-ADA”. And rightly so. It’s like these artifacts know you have a vocal AI companion. They ALSO seem to know how human society works at least to a certain extent. As they reference the name of your home planet, the fact we have a normally tame and reformed society, we have medical specialists, and we have parents or guardians. And they are knowingly simulating lies and threats explicitly in correspondence with this information to get you to collect them. Is there a “Dead Space” type plot going on? Where the artifacts are able to brainwash and convert humans into alien life forms or make them into pawns to propagate and progress its influence? That’s what my money is on.
