SAS MODERN WARRIOR | THE DEBRIEF | Former 22 SAS Lindsay Bruce

Ойын-сауық

In this episode of The Debrief, former 22 SAS Trooper Big Phil Campion speaks to Lindsay Bruce.
Born into the shadow of his 2 older brothers, and uninspired by the school system, Lindsay wasn't initially drawn to a life of military service and soon gained an interest in fitness. This base level of fitness would provide him the skillset to eventually follow his brothers into the Royal Highland Fusiliers, onto multiple overseas tours and then the infamous SAS Selection course. 6 active years service in B Squadron, across multiple warzones soon came to an end and Lindsay launched his own gym and reawakened his passion for fitness, going on to achieve titles in bodybuilding competitions.
Lindsay is the founder of The Modern Warrior Project, that aims to help men over 40 to achieve lasting transformation and advancement in their lives.

Lindsay comes from the old Commando country training ground, and im sure he'd have seen plenty of Commandos passing through Fort William when he was younger. There was a picture of Lindsays Dad somewhere with his SAS beret on ,and the picture is a cracker,i can only imagine how his Dad felt and what he thought of his youngest son especially when Lindsay tells you he wasnt the one disciplined like his brothers and so he thought he wasnt good enough only to go on and prove everyone wrong in a good way ,may i say!! Im sure his father was a proud man, even proud of his other sons as well Lindsay you're a Scottish legend mate.Clydebank🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

You’ve created a really good platform for these epic stories with admirable men - You’ve tapped in perfectly in regard to listening, letting the guest speak but still including that Phil charm and humour! Pls keep em coming & wish you the best with this path! I’m Hampshire too, perhaps smaller hammers 😜

“Brucie” as he was called on my Assault Pioneers course at Hameln in 1998 seemed a really nice guy, he was quite a serious guy, and had to look after the other 3 RHF rouges that were with him😂😂. I met some of those RHF guys in Sennelager Naafi in about 1999, we were training to go to Macedonia because Kosovo was kicking off and the lads said he was away doing SAS stuff. Good on him. Well done “Brucie” from the posh jock R Signals LCpl.🤭😂

If you find Phil’s enthusiasm for conversation and his brother to be annoying, I’d say you’re probably watching the wrong channel bonnie lad.

@@Pazuzu-lp5sv 😂 Not exactly, sweetheart, I’m quite comfortable in my own sexuality. Regardless of what mummy warned you about the rich and varied dialects of these isles extend far north of Watford Gap or the Valleys, or wherever your easily annoyed self calls home, Taff.

Another sad podcast that evidences all that is wrong with Britain. So much for silently proud. All the Ex SF types and those currently serving who forever remain silent, their disgust in these podcasts is palatable. The deluded, dislocated individuals pathetically requiring public claim and accreditation, taking part in them have committed the ultimate betrayal, not to Queen/King, Country, Unit or themselves, but their work colleagues, known or unknown, from past, present and future. Anyone can talk about mental health, alternative physical attractions, if so wishing in the public domain, without referencing past employment and breaking silently proud.

Unfortunately upon return to civvy street, there is not an adequate support system for SF operators who have performed at the highest level to serve their country. There is an appetite for the general population to hear the stories these operators have to tell, and more and more badged members are finding that this is way to use their mindset and experience to not only feed themselves, but their families too. Thanks for your comment, although we do not share the sentiment, we appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion which I’m sure isn’t unique, but may be amongst our subscribers ⚔️
