I remember playing this when I was a little kid. Probably almost 20 years ago. Best Christmas ever was getting a n64. Staying up all night playing plastic soldier games and smash bros.

Dude was already a Sgt before completing basic.

Also, I sincerely think this game could get a remake today. Have to bring it up to standards but I think it's totally possible.

That would be cool if they make a new army men game today

SOUTHERN REBEL . Yes I loved this game one of my top 5 favorite N64 games

Thank you so much for the childhood memories. I still have my original N64 cartridges of Sarges Heroes 1 and 2. But my N64 console kicked the bucket many years ago. After watching this, I might just have to find another one ;) I wish somebody would bring professionally back Army Men to the new gen gaming. Like a AAA game with a high budget. They could do so much today with the worlds you explore as a little plastic soldier. The multiplayer could have so many fun and unique possibilities with miniature warfare. Would be a huge breath of fresh air compared to what stale games we've been getting lately.

Oh man i played this game so much as a kid i still love it. Now i have to go find it somewhere and play it again. *PARTY TIME*

The worst enemy in the game is clearly that oil drum at the bazooka range.

GERSON MAZARIEGOS late reply but it’s from triggering his respawn by walking in/out range of him. You can actually do it with every enemy in the game. That enemy in particular spawns very close to you so it’s easy to notice.

Was on demo at my local Blockbuster on that n64 in store trial

Just good people played this game xD old times

The camera angle is much better than the PS1 version.

Anyone else ever been cursed with the crate glitch? Where you somehow climb one of the indestructible crates, without actually being close enough to climb it, and you instead climb inside of it? Trapped, forever, game over! LOL

Nintendo had more cash and better management than Sega did. Sega lost consumer confidence because they kept putting out consoles and add-on's for consoles where as Nintendo stuck with what they had until it was time to upgrade. Nintendo did massive damage also in the 3rd gen by what would be considered monopolistic practices in today's standards. However, it was Sony that came in and struck the death blow. Sega's management killed the Saturn before it launched by releasing it right on E3 '95 for $399, then Sony right after announced the PlayStation at $299.

in case no one knew.. in the first mission if you fallow that river there is a secret spot all the way to the right with extra ammo n stuff and two tan dudes hiding there. and i call the portals hot tubs because that's what they look like to me i thought the blue spy was a woman????

did anyone else never have a memory card for their n64 growing up? so everytime you wanted to play a different game you had to start a new profile, and if you wanted the game to have a "save state" you just wouldnt turn off the nintendo for a week straight?
