Well... Justin, although not a better singer, uses sex and the bad boy image to reel in the attention. People like Justin fade eventually, leaving a minor stain on music history. But Artists like Sara here, her music will live on for generations.

He's actually a really good singer. He was discovered off KZread after all and has a very good career for himself, despite fucking up so many times in life. If he went the path of singer/songwriter like Sara is, no one would be criticizing him. By that, I'm talking about the bias against him.

This is from the Tonight Show, and I can tell you from watching it for years, there's rarely spontaneous applause during a number, but Sara's 'down' is just too beautiful not to be immediately acknowledged!

i believe she's the one writing most of her songs...she's the only artist of this generation who doesn't repeat lyrics of her songs.very talented both in music and in words.a big respect from the Philippines!

This song makes me cry every single time, it's so beautiful. I can't even believe that Sara was only 19 when she wrote it. The lyrics are so meaningful and absolutely fantastic. Sara is an extraordinary artist, her voice is impeccable, the lyrics of the song are astonishing and the performance is just magical. Her piano playing is sensational, the strings are amazing and that high note at "down" is just out of this world. It is really high and she sings it like the easiest thing on earth. Flawless. One of the best performances I have seen, shivers from the first to the last tone and feelings I never had before. "Gravity" is huge and maybe the best song that was ever written. Sara is masterclass and it's a shame she's that less famous. Take a look folks, this is real talent!!

There is not many who sound better live than recorded. but she is one. beautiful

Thought the cover was really good - the duo brought another dimension to the song.... Shoudln't knock the talent just because it's on a reality / pop show... however I do get where you're coming from.

Sara Could not be more Awesome. What a talent and voice and what a beautiful woman. I dislike so much when some people compare one singer to another like 'This singer is better". Can't some people just appreciate each and every music artist on their own without comparison. Sara is the real deal. A incredible talent. ONe of the most talented people to come along in America in a long long time.

This women's voice is nothing short of amazing!!!!!! And yes I agree. If someone is focusing on her nose, they are going to miss the beautiful aura that she puts in her song. Its almost like a trance. And her other song, " BRAVE" wow!!!

Her live sounds perfect, unlike some singers who are better on recordings rather than live ! :)

Is it just me, or are the string players who sound so beautiful COMPLETELY OUTCLASSED by Sara? It's amazing that people playing so wonderfully are only "ok" when playing with her.

In old England, they'd measure beauty by how pointy or bridge the nose was... I think she impeccably beautiful with an amazingly perfect voice to match.

I don't know how many times I can praise this woman on KZread? She's truly special not just as an incredible singer and musician but human being too.

Haven't see this for a while. Without doubt one of the best (maybe the best) singer-songwriters of her generation.

Sometimes singing is not all about power vocals all the time or who can reach the highest notes in the world. Sometimes having a nice beautiful tone is very important too. Sara Bareilles have that. Such a great voice, such a beautiful face and such a great song.

Sometime when i feel bit mellow i would play my gravity playlist. Sara, John Mayer & Coldplay. All of them is so pleasant.

Something always brings me back to this song.
