Just imagine this: you're a piano player, you're a fan of a master, you sing one of his songs, he gets to see it, and he wants to sing one of YOUR songs with you, while YOU play the piano. Impressive story. How cooler can this guy be?

They don't make artists any cooler the Elton John and most folks know it too. Most of the new artists out there have to always re-invent themselves cause they either are insecure with their style of music or get tired of it because it really does suck.

Just imagine having one of your idols singing a duet with you of one of your songs - after he just sincerely applauded you on how you covered one of his masterpieces. And then, you hit and hold a note so majestic that your idol practically recoils from its perfection. Sara is such a unique talent, and yes, the whole "package"; props to the legendary Sir Elton John for recognizing it.

Great, sir Elton likes her version of Yellow Brick Road. Boy, this girl can sing.
Sara can seriously do no wrong. To anyone listening, if you haven't discovered her music, you are so missing out.
You know who sings Sara Bareilles songs better than she does? Nobody!
I just love Elton's reaction, his admiration for her. He turns to the audience in a sort of, "Amazing, isn't she?" way. It's great to see the support two musicians can give to each other, rather than the cat-iness seen too frequently nowadays.

The way Elton looks like a proud Guncle when Sara hits that perfect note. His adorable smile! Omg my damn heart!!! ♥️🎆
I'm an old Elton fan, but I have really gotten into Sara Bareilles lately. That young lady has the total package...song writing ability, she can sing, she can play the piano, she is good looking....she seems to be very cool....I know she isn't exactly new on the scene, but it is ashame that talent like this is overshadowed by talentless hacks that use auto tune for their voices, dance around practically nude, and have no musical abilities whatsoever. I really would love to see her in concert and soon. Her live music is just as good, if not better, than her studio recordings and that is extremely difficult to achieve. I wish Sara nothing but the best!

Pop music is like pop culture. Constantly changing. We remember it but only within a time frame that is limited. Connected to a moment in our life. But music that spans time and remains relevant is called classic or standard. Its appeal is universal and lasting because of its unique qualities. It spans generations and is rediscovered constantly. Remade to be enjoyed again. Pop music doesn't get remade at all if hardly ever. It's a one off. A single artist. It doesn't resonate.

This song hits me, so incredibly deeply. The message is something that I think that all of us can identify with, in one way or another. I am so happy that Sara and Sir Elton were so blessed to have the opportunity to make beautiful music together! This was EPIC and so very beautiful!
Even Elton John is 67 he still sings better than many singers these days.
I love that Sara looks truly star-struck and so humbled by who is singing her song with her and the obvious respect that Elton John shows when Sara hits "that note". Too often a duet seems to be a mini-competition and I saw none of that in this performance. Class acts, both of them!

I have a very active imagination - but I CANT EVEN IMAGINE! To sing with Elton John???? To play the piano for him????? To have him say he loves your version of his song!!!!!!!!!! I can’t even....
I had the absolute please of meeting Sara Bareilles at the Waitress London Stage Door after seeing her play Jenna in the show this afternoon. First of all, the fact that she has the patience and energy to do a 2 and a half hour show and then come out to sign over 200 peoples programmes, stopping to have a very personal talk with every single individual is just so incredibly kind, she even had another show to do that day which is just incredible. I stood and chatted to her about the fact that I wanted to be a musician when I was older but couldn't read music where she reassured me that she couldn't either and told me "You do you, bae". After signing in her own black pen, she realised the other cast signed in silver and said "Oh, sorry did you want me to sign in Silver?" I said that it didn't matter but she insisted on signing it again in silver which was SUPER sweet. She was so lovely and her performance as Jenna was just astonishing. My best friend and I were both literally sobbing at her She Used To Be Mine. Gravity is a song that was one of the first of Sara's that I discovered and something just made me connect with it, even though I have never experienced heartbreak like the song suggests. There is something truly magical about Sara's Bareilles' music and voice. Who decided that our earth should be graced with someone like her? It's just beautiful. Something always brings me back to the music of Sara. Thank you, Sara From the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
Started crying when she sang, "One thing that I still know is that you're keeping me down," the last part of the bridge. It's just so beautiful.
Sarah is a ridiculous talent, her songwriting and piano and singing is a trinity in and of itself. That said, it was really something to have Elton recognize those talents, and add a certain gravitas to her prose, much to her delight, and it was one of the most enjoyable collaborations I've seen on You Tube in quite awhile!
Sarah has such a melodic voice that I could listen to her all day. That guy, Elton John...he has a future in the music industry too (wink, wink).
Remember Sara singing this baby at Spring Sing at UCLA. Needless to say, Clive Davis was a judge and the girl won. I had no idea when we sat next to each other in choir what she would become! Great job, Sara.
Something always brings me back to you It never takes too long No matter what I say or do I'll still feel you here 'till the moment I'm gone You hold me without touch You keep me without chains I never wanted anything so much than to drown in your love And not feel your reign Set me free, leave me be I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity Here I am, and I stand So tall, just the way I'm supposed to be But you're on to me and all over me Oh, you loved me 'cause I'm fragile When I thought that I was strong But you touch me for a little while And all my fragile strength is gone Set me free, leave me be I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity Here I am, and I stand So tall, just the way I'm supposed to be But you're on to me and all over me I live here on my knees as I try to make you see That you're everything I think I need here on the ground But you're neither friend nor foe though I can't seem to let you go The one thing that I still know is that you're keeping me down You're keeping me down, eh ooh You're on to me, on to me, and all over Something always brings me back to you It never takes too long
