2024 Shout out to Carlos Santana, im 65 years old now stated listening to him when I was 10. My aunt brought home the Woodstock album! I have a 1994 Santana collectors bottle of red wine that my children know to open and celebrate the day of my passing! Long live Santana!!❤❤❤

Saw them in the late 70's in San Francisco's GoldenGate Park playing to a packed audience. PHENOMENAL is an understatement. They had us all spell bound. No need for theatrics when you're EXCEPTIONAL. Truly their music and performance said all that needed to be said. One of the best concerts I've ever seen in my lifetime.

No internet... didn't know about this concert at Tanglewood, I was 17 . . . and I was living in Connecticut, if I had known I would've been there. What a fantastic performance.

I was 10 years old in 1970 when my parent's were listening to Santana play this. My grandchildren listen to Santana now! Thank you Carlos, from 4 generations!❤👏👏

Don't You think, that is it almost incredible, our children can like the same music?

I'm 63 now and had one opportunity to see Carlos Santana live, it was another level of music. Sadly the smell of marijuana was a bit overwhelming for me and had to move further to the front wich wasn't too good, I'm someone who knows how to appreciate this kind of music without being intoxicated. Always have a taste for different music performances.

Excellent performance, spot on, absolutely incredible.

I still remember the feeling I had the first time I heard Carlos Santana's guitar. It had a unique feel that conveyed the color and aroma of the guitar. It was strange. “Europe” was also good.

Should have received a Grammy for this. His music is eternal

I have for sure. Saw him in Calgary, Alberta Canada few years ago- he played nonstop for 3 hrs non. In his bare feet!! Everyone of his band members are excellent musicians. Best show I ever saw. His son & band opened for him- they were fantastic too.

Those were the days when he had the best percussionists . they were young and super energetic .

I've never realized that it's Gregg Rolie who is the magic voice in Black Magic Woman. I knew he played keyboards in the Santana band, but he's such a great singer.

Santana (the band) always trips me out. Here you've got a band that, on its surface, appears to be structured around the virtuoso playing of Carlos Santana. But, if you listen to enough of their music, you realize that the genesis and heart of each of their songs is rooted in the ABSOLUTELY insane rhythm section players. So many of Carlos Santana's solos work only because they are buttressed by rhythm that is flawless.

I saw this band live in Baltimore live just before shipping out for Nam. They actually sounded better in concert than their records. This was a good memory.

Also, 'i' give little credit to 'Bill Graham' for a *Discovery*, here or to Most 'Promoters etc.' who *discovered* the 'Greats'. Since, 'i' believe Most 'Music lovers' ...Would Recognize 'Greatness' if 'IT' was Put, right before their Ears, in person especially.

‘76 was 1st time I saw Santana as a teenager, they opened for Frampton Comes Alive w/Gary Wright, what a blast!!! 💥💥💥

In the olden days when this song would play we would jump up and dance!! Could feel the music inside of me. Still today enjoy it! Not jumping up and dancing but still feel the beat!!

Absolute genius! Still relevant, still timely, still inspiring.🌅

Santana played at my high school dances in the late 70's. I have seen them 15 times, at least. They were a great band then, and still today.

I am taking my 13 year old grandson to see Santana live in Cincinnati, Ohio in July. It will be his first concert. I believe that I am more excited about it than he is.

One of the best titles in the world. Where else does a strict rhythm fit so perfectly with idiosyncratic harmonies and fusion interludes? Where does a song develop into such a furious ending? The end is basically a rock-jazz track of its own. Bravo, this is my absolute favorite and Carlos Santana, the American guitarist of Mexican origin, who has added a variant to rock music through his Latin rock music, is the greatest for me.

Im 62, been listening to all flavors of music since i can remember and this man Santana set the bar for excellence in performance. No one but Santana has serenaded this planet with his style and mystique And sound all his own. And still drawing the crowds from all over. Thank you Santana !!!

I wonder if the audience realised what a magical performance they were witnessing? My wife and I saw him perform at The House of Blues in Las Vegas 9 or 10 years (?) ago. It was wonderful seeing a living legend perform. It is a night I will always remember.

By some critics this concert has been rated as one of the top 10 of all time . Carlos was just breaking out big thanks to his earth shattering performance at Woodstock

Usually, the crowd begins to applaud and cheer the first notes of a classic like this. I didn't hear that. It made me think the song had not yet gained the status of a classic.

Absolutely LOVE Gregg's singing! He turned an already great song that was edgier and bluesy with Fleetwood Mac into a sound that is so sexy and seductive and he still sounds like that today. Wish that Gregg had never left Santana because his smooth singing complimented every song that he sang on. Same thing with Journey...I will never tire of hearing Gregg sing!

Barbara Sampier I love the Way he sings this song too, it is simply perfect to me!!!

One of the things I would do when I was young, in the summer, was to go out late in the night in my convertible and blast this song as I ride around ....now that was magic

After more decades, the song has not been displaced and still existed. I like, you like and we all like

SANTANA, went to one of his concert's in late 1970's. He put on a show unforgettable. I did not want it to end. Love all his freaking music with all my soul.
