Years later and I still have no idea who this Julia Saanio with the astonishing voice is. Has she done other work? Has she a band? It still drives me nuts!

Like many people from the Star wreck saga, she has obviously no desire for publicity 🙁 That is sad because she sings this so beautifully.
Very beautiful song indeed and with the final images - the destroyed space station orbiting future (not past!) earth - the song wraps the saga to it's ultimate end in lovely but very sad way. I like to think that these are the lonely thoughts of Commander Info as he realizes that he solely is the last "living" humanoid in this planet and the last member of what's left of the P-Fleet in this time line. This song underlines the fact that there can be no sequels to this movie.
