I spend my hours reacting to music from all over the world! I realised i was listening to English music only even though i am Bilingual. So i decided to enjoy different genres of music from all over the world in front of a Camera!
I have only started recently and am still growing so I am also reacting to Battlerap and Anime but slow progress is better than no progress right?

People from Poland have generational trauma after World War II. My generation didn't experience war but we carry this burden through couture and our gens. Thus we feel really moved and scared because now war is happening right next to us, it awakes this trauma in ourselves.

This is a huge generalization. I have no trauma, even my parents don't have it though they were born during the II war. Also I am not scared, not a bit. I suggest that you speak for yourself, not for the whole nation. Roman below dobrze to ujął. :) If they come they flee quickly

I live in Poland, in Krakow. Every day, when I go to university, I see lots of Ukrainian women with children, every day I cry seeing the pain in their eyes, the longing for their husbands, the fear for their children, the fear for tomorrow. In Polish the lyrics is more powerful and poetry. This song captures the feelings beautifully, but what is happening cannot be told or sung. Thank you for your reaction ❤️

Lyrics of that song can be read in few ways. First off all, the song begins with a child singing, which could be associated with a lullaby. It is a very telling message, considering the childrens who cross the border alone, without their parents, eg. the border between Poladn and Ukraine (everyone in Poland has seen such stories since the war broke out). Seen from a different perspective, the song tells the tragedy of mother who wants to protect her child with all her might from the tragedy of war. A mother who would gie anything for the peace and safety of her family. On the other hand, bearing in mind that the melody of the song refers to the work known in Poland: "Prząśniczka" composed by Stanisław Mioniuszko in 1846 (every Pole knows this piece from music lessons in primary school; many people remember itswords), one can assume a wider context. In old Poland, it was the motherland that was referred to as the "mother", and all citizens were its "children". If we look at the words of the song in this sense, then the drama of a soldier fighting for peace to his homeland appears.

In Poland, people also metaphorically name their land as "mother". The song shows the drama of Ukrainians and their families, but also the attitudes of ordinary people who are just fighting for their mother with a much bigger opponent, risking their lives.

That song is dedicated to Ukraine and all profits go to help victims. Melody line is inspired on 'The Spinisters' by Moniuszko- that is old song set deep in Polish culture ( licics are less sober) that every child learn in shool from generations and many mothers sing it as lulababy. Also Igor is from Łemkowie- ethnic minority from mountains in bordelainn between Poland and Ukraine, that suffered a lot duuring WWII and not many of them left.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 Polecam do recenzji inne utwory Sanah i Igora.

Yes, you are correct. This song is about the war, mostly about orphaned kids, kids that lose their families (That's why child is singing first). Those kids needs home, need some stability in their lifes, that they don't have now. Picture is about it - having dinner together is a sybol of home, the warmth of the family home. Whole song is about it: Moms are crying most of the time, beacouse someone hurts their famielies, their kids and their country. They are loosing their mens, when they are going fight. They don't know what to do to protect that all. It must feel really lonely, to deal with it all alone. Even if they had help from other countries, still menatlly they are drowing. It's frighting and scary. People in this country looses everything. And that's horrible. Some things: - You translated "Idź precz" as "go away" and it's correct, but in Poland we use it when we are very very mad. Just wanted you to know. - When you have "mamo tyś płakała" you can use translator to see how to read it. It's hard to explain. - This is the best reaction for this song that I've seen. Like, you had lyrics, you were trying to understand. Mostly all those youtoubers reacting for that didn't understand what is this about, they didn't understand the lyrics and didn't even try to understand contecst. You did. I am so pround, and that you really tried to did it well... Just precious. This deserve to subcription

In English there is a phrase "go to hell" and in Polish we also use this phrase and it does not mean the same, but it has a strong overtone. In my opinion, it better reflects the power of the Polish "idź precz". "Go away" is rather used when you don't want to be in someone's company and "idź precz" is rather just "get the fuck out and close the door behind you" only without swearing.

Hi I am from Poland, the song is 10 times more powerful when you can uderstand it becuse in some parts it is more like a poem so it is hard to translate some words with the same emotional power. But here is the best translation I have found so far. I am really grateful that I am able to understand it while they are singing. I hope it will help, and perhaps Sanah and Igor will record Englisg version too. Igor voice is so powerful and full of emotions because he has Ukrainian roots. Mommy you've been crying Your eyes wide opened Did someone hurt you again? They struck a blow People of steel They look into your eyes When you say ''Enough'' Embrace me, embrace me My bright eyes Are waiting for me to fall asleep Cry out, cry out Cry out to heaven We need a miracle Take what you want What, what, what you want Take everything Take, take and be gone And this stress All this stress Take it I'm sick of tears Mommy you've been crying Your eyes wide opened Did someone hurt you again? They struck a blow People of steel They look into your eyes When you say ''Enough'' How will I protect you and on which side Should I stand today with hundred hostile eyes watching My scream is not enough Take me Mommy Somewhere far away Far away from here I miss, I miss The years When everyone was hinting Today, today I want to scream from far away But my voice doesn't work Take what you want What, what, what you want Take everything Take, take and be gone And this stress All this stress Take it I'm sick of tears Mommy you've been crying Your eyes wide opened Did someone hurt you again? The best reaction to this song I’ve seen so far! I appreciate you having subtitles ready and that you were even reading them to us. The melody and voices (I especially like the male one) convey emotions very well, but the lyrics give the full picture. I like "how can I protect you and on which side" part the most because the mood changes from "mother, save me, take me away from here" to "how can I protect you" when the singing person find out they are not a children anymore, they have to take responsibility and action on their shoulders now, because the mother is just a human being, she can't solve that horrible situation anymore, it's out of control now. And that part "on which side"... doesn't that mean they could do anything, literally everything, even betraying, taking the enemy's side to save a loved one? Very tough decisions. And I can't stop thinking that when the song is ending, it's because the mother, the child or both of them... have been just killed by same stray bullet or something. And I have goosebumps every time I listen to this song!

Mummy you have cried Mummy you have cried Your eyes were wide Has anybody hurt you again? They dealt a blow People of steel They look you in the eye When you say "enough!" Embrace me, embrace me My light eyes Are waiting for me to fall asleep Cry, cry Cry to the heavens A miracle is needed Take what you want Whatever, whatever, whatever you want Take everything Take, take and go away And the stress And the whole stress Take it with you I'm tired with the tears Mummy you have cried Your eyes were wide Has anybody hurt you again? They dealt a blow People of steel They look you in the eye When you say "enough!" How can I defend you and whose side Should I take today when there are a hundred hostile eyes My scream is not enough Take me, mummy, Somewhere away Far away from here ( male part starts) I miss, I miss The years When I was advised Today, today I want to shout from far away And the voice doesn't work Take what you want Whatever, whatever, whatever you want Take everything Take, take and go away And the stress And the whole stress Take it with you I'm tired with the tears Mummy you have cried Your eyes were wide Has anybody hurt you again? They dealt a blow People of steel They look you in the eye When you say "enough!" How can I defend you and whose side Should I take today when there are a hundred hostile eyes My scream is not enough Take me, mummy, Somewhere away Far away from here lyricstranslate.com

Tym razem to doświadcza Ukraina i dlatego powstał ten cover piosenki aby zaprotestowac przeciwko wojnie i wspomóc piosenką tych wszystkich skrzywdzonych tam ludzi. Pozdrawiam z Polski

Maybe this will help you understand this song: Mama you've been crying No use for lying Deep in your eyes I see you're hurt again. One more punch they're throwing Steel fists are glowing Brighter than tears blending into rain. Tuck in, tuck in My eyes wide open They'll come when I close them Cry out, cry out Cry out to heaven A miracle could happen What you want Take, take what you want Take it all Take, take and just go Leave alone Leave, leave us alone I have no Tears left, they're all gone Mama you've been crying No use for lying Deep in your eyes I see you're hurt again. One more punch they're throwing Steel fists are glowing Brighter than tears blending into rain. How can I protect you? Who do I turn to? Nowhere to run away from evil eyes Scream is all they make me Mama, please, take me Take me somewhere they won't find us. I long, I long I long for those days When I knew the right ways Today, today Air filled with noise Made me lose my voice What you want Take, take what you want Take it all Take, take and just go Leave alone Leave, leave us alone I have no Tears left, they're all gone Mama you've been crying No use for lying Deep in your eyes I see you're hurt again. One more punch they're throwing Steel fists are glowing Brighter than tears blending into rain. How can I protect you? Who do I turn to? Nowhere to run away from evil eyes Scream is all they make me Mama, please, take me Take me somewhere they won't find us.

the song was written as a protest against the war and all the cruelty associated with it during the Warsaw Uprising. It has a universal character, no matter who it concerns, anywhere in the world, on any continent. This time Ukraine is experiencing it and that is why this cover of the song was created to protest against the war and to support all those people who were wronged there with the song. Greetings from Poland

the song is written from the view point of a child that is watching and living horrors of war. Mind you children often want to protect crying mothers from harm, and here all this child can do is shout which is not enough when faced with soldiers/occupiers, the song is full of helplessness and raw pain of parents not being able to protect their children from war and children not being able to protect mothers from the blows and hurt inflicted by the enemy. This is how I understand it, but it is singing poetry, so different people may have different opinion, as poetry often does.
