Agreed 💯💯💯
Lived in Northern California and the Bay Area all of our lives and we never knew Sotto Mare existed till we saw your video. We there for lunch Sunday 4/30 and the Cioppino blew our socks off! It was that good. We watch your videos faithfully during lunch time. Hope to see you guys in Vegas on a trip there and hopefully get a selfie with you guys. 🤞 Joe and Rita

Glad you liked it! Agreed on the Cioppino, it was very good. Absolutely! If you see us around, please come up and say Hi!
Aloha from Seattle! Congrats Lisa and Bill for reaching over 50k subscribers!
Love all your shows you guys are great you’re a regular in our house every day thank you for all you do
Glad to see SF hasn't lost it seafood touch. Old school at its finest. 😋😋
As a New Orleans native, only San Francisco can top my hometown when it comes to a combination of great food, run to ride cable / street cars and amazing views. I've had the cioppino at Palace Station but Sotto Mare's looks much better.
Dang!!! Ur the best! London! Frisco! The most ever traveling vloggers!! Lol!!
You made me realize how much I miss SF seafood and sourdough bread!! I could taste every bite with you. That salad at Swan’s was to die for!! Thanks.
All the food places seemed very fitting fir a city by the ocean. Nice to see you both, travel safe.
All the food looked delicious. I love San Francisco! Thanks for taking us along.
The love you two have for SF makes my heart so happy! ❤ cheers to Swan Oyster Depot!
Love this thank you guys I'm from the Bay Area and I haven't got an opportunity to eat at these places yet😋
Be sure to add 'New England Lobster Market and Eatery' in Burlingame to your seafood list. It's near SF airport and you will not be dissapointed. Enjoy !!
We just came back from SF. Wish i would’ve watched ur video first!!!!
I enjoyed this video! Going to San Francisco and the Bay Area, next month (May).
Everything looked so fabulous...my mouth was watering watching Bill eat the clam chowder 😂...glad to see you guys have similar taste buds and are able to share the fishes 😉...safe travels and God Bless 😘🤗💘
Everything looked amazingly delicious!
Lisa I agree with you in regards to Swan's salmon being one of the best I have ever had!!! And I am a former New Yorker!!! :P There is definitely something special about theirs. The Shrimp Crab Louie salad is also a must order when I am there... and you must must must order that Sicilian sashimi next time you go!!! One of my kids went to University in SF and I had the pleasure of visiting OFTEN during her 3 years there (I live in Los Angeles so an easy escape). Being a foodie I definitely have my 'must go' when I am there (at least 1-2x a year now) and Swan is a must. For the best clam chowder and oysters I highly highly recommend Hog Island Oyster in the Ferry Building! What I love about their chowder is that is not thick... which for me allows to enjoy the deliciousness of their clams. They have an oyster farm in Tomales Bay ... their oysters are amazing and fresh! Oh, and one of the best bloody Mary's around!!! Their grilled cheese will also knock your socks off. I also love Sotto Mare for cioppino! Although, I have to say a few months ago I went to Betty Lou's around the corner from Soto and I actually like their cioppino a little bit better... perhaps it's because the owner use to work at Soto Mare and made it even a notch better! and Mike's wok crab is also an amazing and unforgettable dish! If you want yummy italian pastries go to Stella's Pastry also in Little Italy on Columbus and try a slice of their sacripantina cake. I am not a huge cake fan but this one is definitely on my top 3 list. Their cannoli's are a must too! So many great places to eat in SF! Now I'm craving Swan's!!!

Thanks for sharing, Marie! Will for sure try the Sicilian sashimi next time!
The cioppino at Sotto Mare was our favorite in San Francisco . We dream of going back.
Looks yummy!😋
All of that looked so delicious! The cioppino looked amazing!! Great food!
I am glad that y'all had a great time eating seafood 😋. Just watching the both of y'all eating made me hungry. God bless the both of y'all always 🙏.
Glad you guys stuck around. SF is the culinary wonderland of the world! I would give some recommendations, but wouldn't even know how to start. Don't forget - Their "Little Italy" of North Shore (I see you did) and their unparalleled Chinatown. The Wharf is strictly for tourists which "churn out" garbage. Enjoy your stay and sincerest regards 👍🥂
Hi Bill and Lisa. The seafood in San Francisco looks absolutely amazing. I am glad you both had a nice time. See you both next time. 💕👍
Wow! Never heard of these places. Will have to ask my brother and his family in San Jose to check these places out next time I visit. Looks like a must try!
You guys have FABULICIOUS food taste❤ and these videos always make me mouthwatering hungry 😋....so, another well done piece of work, art, and creativity 👏 👌

Incredible video - one of my fav's you've done !!! King salmon is for sure the KING of salmons. Grilled, smoked, you name it, there's nothing that compares. Cheers you two cutie pies !!!
Aloha Bill and Lisa: Thank you for taking us along for the adventure to two iconic seafood restaurants. During these three years of the “pandemic-period,” I totally forgot about all of the delicious seafood served in San Francisco; we didn’t leave the East Bay much during this period. Now, we have to make-up for all the great fun lost. Looks like you both had a great time in San Fran; also, I am glad to see you both had a deliciously time dining on seafood. Interesting thought of mine: can you imagine pairing the salmon dish with a plain musubi - yummy to me 🤣! Best wishes and regards, to you and the family. Much 🤙 and 🧧!

@@billandlisa So true! Best wishes for another delicious adventure!
Swan Oyster Depot is a cool, must-visit place. Just need to go there ONCE. I'd suggest ordering an Anchor Steam beer, a local beer. Philz Coffee is much better Starbucks. Get their iconic coffee drink, the Mint Mojito. Sotto Mare is an OK seafood restaurant. Good value though. A very popular place, especially tourists from S. Korea. I'd skip Sotto and grab couple slices of pizza at Golden Boy, a few steps away, or get focaccia from Liguria if you are in North Beach before 10:30am. Another a good place for lunch is Mario's Bohemian Cafe.
Oh wow. Now I HAVE to go to Swans for that salmon dish! :)
Watching you guys makes me want to visit SFO again ! I see food….. seafood 😋😍. Thank you for another FUNtastic travel food adventure. 👍🏼
I’m on see food diet - I see food, I eat ‘em !
Thanks for taking us along. I do love some Seafood, never tried Cioppino. I do love a good Clam chowder.
I love Swan Oyster Depot. Old school. Small number of seats. Recipes for delicious food are still true today. Oh it's been too long for me to visit and have a crab louie salad. So glad you two got to visit and enjoy the food.
Hello! I’m still convincing myself that every time I see Lisa eat oysters I am going to try oyster shooters one day!😅San Francisco is a beautiful city full of culture and amazing restaurants…but as a military brat we moved from the foggy weather (my Dad didn’t like the fog) to San Diego which has the best weather. Sourdough bread is best in San Francisco their sourdough culture strain has the best tang. I want to go to try the sashimi there…looks interesting with the oil drizzled…thanks for sharing the amazing treats and for another great video!

As good as the oysters look, still not for me. But, if you haven't tried it, go for it! The sashimi looked great, but would've put us over the top as we still had one more place to go. lol
It was so nice to find your vlog and "meet" a couple who are enjoying food as much as we do ♥ In fact, you inspired us to try out Sotto Mare - the Cioppino was incredible! Maybe we can meet on the road sometime. Safe and Happy Travels!

Everything looked very good but mostly the salad with Louis dressing!
You picked a few great restaurants! The history and quality are excellent.
I so miss the City 😣😣😣😣. If I lived there I would never cook for myself. I could survive on the sour dough bread and Gallo salami alone. That's an awesome salad 😯😯😯😯 Ciappino is the best!! My mouth is watering. Glad you enjoyed everything.
Everything looks so delicious. I love all your videos. Safe and happy travels
I think I was hearing “Theme From a Summer Place” I love that movie and song!
Great selection of food !! The Calderon of seafood looked very good !! Have a great Sunday !! 🤗🤗
Hey guys I wish I knew you were coming here I would have loved to meet you guys love your videos thank for all the videos
Great video. Food looked great. Now I know where to go to eat while we're there. Thanx for sharing. Safe travels.
Aloha Bill and Lisa 🌺 It’s always a pleasure watching your vlogs. Thank you taking us along and eating yummy seafood. My favorite was the clam chowder and salmon. The ciappino looks delish! 😋 Once again San Francisco is awesome!🥰

Ooooo...yummy and glad you guys had good weather
I’m salivating, I’m salivating!! 🤤thanks Bill and Lisa!
You were right in my neighborhood. We call it North Beach (not Little Italy...that's more NYC). You're reminding me of all the excellent restaurants within spitting distance of my home in North Beach (close to the border of Fisherman's Wharf). Next time...be sure to go to Scoma's on the Wharf. Excellent food and killer location! I'm a SF native and I don't think I've ever been to Swan's Oyster Depot. I think the line was always daunting. Maybe I had it once during the pandemic...honestly that time is a bit of a blur. I leave tomorrow for a few months in NYC and when I return, I'm Swan's Oyster Depot bound! Great videos...I'm new to your terrific channel!

I was waiting on Lisa’s “my Louisiana oysters…” and sure enough. 😂😂😂 that seafood salad looks amazing!
Seafood 🦞 Heaven!!!
Wow! Truly jealous of this one! Looks like amazing seafood ❤
OMG!!! So much great food....that Cioppino looked heavenly delicious!!! I'm saddened that when I was in San Fransisco back in 1997 there was no such thing as "Smart Phones" with GPS to find these great restaurants. Great video made me so "Ono" for seafood!!! Lisa loved that bib at Sotto Mare's LOL!!! Aloha!!!

All the seafood yummies look soooo good!! Another winner guys!!
With the wind blowing, you are both beautiful
I haven't had the cioppino from Sotto Mare in years, it looks exactly how I remember it. If you go again, make sure to stop by Bi-Rite Creamery...I always stop there when I go up to SF :)
Omg!!! So yummy looking and I would love some. Nothing like fresh seafood. I’m full just from watching Please be careful in SF. Thx for sharing 😘
Best cioppino I've had is at Phil's Fish Market (now located in Castroville instead of Moss Landing). Been going there even before they got famous from the Bobby Flay tv show. About an hour and a half south of SF, and it's a perfect place for lunch when you're visiting Monterey.
I really enjoyed this SF Trip! Bill and Lisa Likes all my favorite places VEGAS, HI, NOLA, & SF. These vlogs always make me hungry!

The seafood looks good. You see food you eat it. The shrimp, oyster and soup looks good.
Hi guys,I’m not a hug4 seafood lover but all that seafood looks so fresh and amazing. Never tried chowder before, I have to give that a go.
2:10 the song in the backgroud is "A Summer Place"! When I was 8ish, my parents would sing this song on repeat from The Letterman cassette in our big o' travel van. It was my dad's immigrant American dream after many years to to buy a van and travel all over America. //I can't believe you missed the #1 most famous food from San Francisco: Ricearoni, the San Francisco treat😅.

most interesting yumminess delights. prices at swansons have gone up up and away. by the way, you were a few blocks from my home. please lopk up tadish grill. original home of the fisherman's stew. very old eatery in sf that made it through covid.
All the food looks delicious. I prefer the thicker chowder myself.
Another great video!!! ❤ you guys are the best food experts !!! The table was so tiny !! Need a table extension 😂 all the food looked great !!! There is a place in Los Alamitos called the Original Fish Company and there clam chowder is pretty good if your ever in the area. I cant believe there wasnt room for dessert 😂😂😂😂😂

yummy. Love SF
Darn I wished I could have ran🏃🏻♀️ into you two! Love ❤️ you two! I have been to both places and they are the best! Yummy seafood 🐠 🌊 🍲. If you ever want to try French, try Côte Ouest Bistro on weekday and walk inside lobby of George Lucas and take photo of R2-D2 😊. It makes a nice lunch outing and walk to Palace of Fine Arts.
Delicious 🥰🦂🤤🦪😋🦀🥖!
I could go for that chowder.
That food at Swan's looked amazing but the seating was unbearable for me. Too close to other people and the back wall was too close. I'm claustrophobic, so my problem. Glad you enjoyed it!
I was at the swan ages ago..had a prawn cocktail and some unforgettable oysters ❤
Thanks
The crab soup looks good.
