I am still having difficulties with getting that Samsung protective screen to snap on correctly, I am hoping that your tip to slide in order to fit my phone will fix that. Are you dumb? You can literally find the installation information online so why are you only taking information from one dude in KZread...? you have to manually download the app, he has to have some helper tool on his phone or something...

I think it’s more about Facebook buying oculus, who knows what happens to product support and backend deals when that happens. It’s terrible.

I am having a problem with the phone . It will not switch to the vr home app when i insert it into the gear vr. I have got 2 messages with this 1. check the video card and re_install it . 2. make sure the proximity switch is not blocked. Usually i hear two noises when the program loads. Now i only hear one. Oh one time i got a pop up saying i haven't bought any thing from the store yet. Well there are so many free programs i did not think of spending grocier money.

My controller doesn't connect sometimes but every time I recalibrate it it thinks it can't connect or find the remote when all it says to do is hold down the home button & follow the steps but I don't get that far & so it doesn't allow me to use the remote because of the recalibrating problem

Richard Francis No. Is it the original s7? If not then get the gear be 2017. If yes then it is dysfunctional. He should not of downloaded apps, as they do not work with gear vr. Do not do it

Also if it does work, play store has oculus but it doesn’t work for me. When I download the app and connect the USB port to the phone it still says download the app. The phone in the vr.

I found this after a few years of me having the VR and I'm seeing if this works I'll edit this for the update if it worked

hi steve any chance you can help me out? recently i tried redownload games i bought from oculus store but it gives me error could not install...after some research i find out they replace working games apks with updated versions not compatible with some older phones any chance u got the games still installed on your gear vr or have some backups?i managed to get some of my purchases to restore from other kind people since oculus does not give a shit to sort it out ..i still looking for these: gunjack 2, star chart, ocean rift, herobound spirit champion, esper1 and 2,drift, micro machines, b team, jurrasic park and few others i bought 87 games on that store but did not backup them ..thanks in advance for looking into this issue.

That’s complex but you would need to put your phone in a mode to accept unknown sources. Then you have to download older apk packs one at a time until you find one that works. If you have time for that have fun. You will have to google search every game and get ready for a bunch of spam links. It’s not worth it if you ask me,

Because he recorded it, it gives the illusion it looks perfect. In reality he probably sees it just as blocky and as pixelated as you do.

No you can’t play any ROBLOX VR games since it’s a 3DOF headset and isnt optimized for gaming. Connecting this to a computer (perhaps using VRidge) also won’t allow it to work since it’s a 1 controller and honestly isnt worth it to fiddle around with. If you want to play Roblox VR, you will need a VR capable PC (basically a pretty normal gaming pc like gtx 970 to gtx 1060 and also AMD cards and intel i5 4590/4570 idk) as well as a headset specifically for gaming. The best one to get is an Oculus Quest since it can be PCVR and standalone HOWEVER you will need to connect the quest to your gaming PC to play Roblox in VR. Hope this helps. If you want me to try to explain some things in better detail just ask and I might be able to answer it I haven’t tried it but looking at what others say + lots of research, I’ve made this whole conclusion. I had the same question as you but it’s honestly better to be sure than use up your money and possibly not even be able to use something for what you bought it for

DrBloxyGamer uhhh you have 2 what controllers? gear vr? you cant use 2 gear vr controllers on the same gear. yes you can use it on a PC using some software but roblox vr will only run if there’s two controllers detected.. which you cant exactly do on gear vr. I haven’t used Driver4VR and you can maybe add a second gear controller to it that way. However I’ve heard its hard to do and I’ve also heard it’s kind of weird to use. These are all “I’ve heard” though. Honestly the best ways to play Roblox in VR is just to get a PC gaming supported headset. Windows Mixed Reality is cheaper and you have to install the Mixed Reality to SteamVR tool to get it working. However you can also use an oculus rift, rift s, quest, and the htc vive which are more expensive options.

+Chris Marshall the gyro censor may not allow to watch videos that way. If you see the ceiling it sounds like your rear camera is activated.
