Hi, need to ask something from you.. I have Samsung Gear VR .. Unfortunately my S6 Edge charge isn't working so I'm trying to find out how use my gear VR .. Is there any way in which I could use my Gear VR using my S6 Edge fone with damaged charging port. I was thinking of Controller but dont know if it would work or not .. Can you suggest something ? You can use developer mode (Gear vr dev mode, not regular android dev mode), this forces vr apps to run without the phone being in the gear vr

Yes it work with note 9 as you can see in the video the small adapter is for note 9

I've seen that it's compatible with Samsung s10 (not plus) but it require an adapter and I wonder if it's included with the headset 🤔. And I saw many people seeing that the s10 plus require nothing to work with the r325

i think you have to contact Samsung to send you out the adapter to fit the note 9 for it. Its free of charge.

Hi, nice video. I have questions about the SM-R325. Im considering buying it after breaking my shitty plastic VRBOX headset. My questions are: 1) Can I use the headset while plugged so it doesn't drain battery? I want to watch video for as long as I want. If I can't, it sucks because battery is drained fast. The idea is to charge at 100% and then plug the cable into the charger and watch videos. This in theory would keep the phone cooler too as well as avoid battery being drained. If you haven't tested this, can you please test this and tell me? Because some people say you can do this, others don't. I think it depends on the version of the GearVR. 2) Where is the plug for the cable to charge it located? left or right side? 3) Can I use an SD card to read files from the phone or it has internal memory? 4) Can I plug earphones into the phone and use without the cable getting the way? Im using Galaxy S7 (Exynos version) and it plays 5k videos no problem. Im just concerned that I can't use the GearVR while plugged to not drain the battery. I was able to do this with the cheap chinese as you just plug it directly into the phone but im not sure if I can do this with GearVR. Please let me know as soon as possible. Oh and im also concerned about it being an imported version. Im looking in Amazon all ones are "imported version". My S7 is the white one from Germany but im from Spain. Im not sure if I will have problems or not. Thanks for info.

@@UltimateDIY i shouldve made alist. the only thing i can think of off the top of my head without rewtaching teh whole video is how you put the phone in the gear headset. youre supposed to bend the clip upwards so its easy to get the phone in.. the you use the plug as if it was a hinge and you clip it down under the other side's clip.. you just wiggled it in there and that could potentially ruin the plug on your phone or on the headset. im sure youve figured out the rest. this is an older video. but other than that i love how indepth you went. You didnt leave anything out. Just a few things i wouldve done different for the sake of other people's devices if they didnt figure out the right way to do it. Nothing too huge though. overall i liked the video.
