@@viraltube4232 i would say the s23 just because you wont be losing anything. the s22 doesn't have the best battery and that's often a deal breaker. the s22 also heats up which can be problematic for heavy usage. imo, you should wait a month or two and when the price drops, get the s23

I think that was more a chip issue the past few chips from snapdragon basically sucked. Snapdragon 8 gen 2 is as efficient or more than a16 and this is cause it’s made by tsmc just like iPhone chips are.

I can't agree more with a lot of the fellow viewers here, that your production, script and content are top notch. So here I am, commenting to feed the algo beast :). Just a small suggestion, maybe consider doing an episode of gadgets around the new ecosystem as well, like headphones, charging dock, smart watch, travel pouch, etc. Keep up the great work!

Google Apps for so many years. I still use it with my iPhone so using an Android smartphone and since one year, an iPhone, has been easy. I don't use any Apple apps: only Timer and Calculator. I use only apps which work on both iOS and Android. Everything i do on my Android, i can find it on my iPhone and vice versa. Total freedom, no brand loyalty, only preferences. It's very easy to switch or to use multiple devices at the same time. Tech KZreadrs have make people remember this everytime they upload a video about a new smartphone. It's not a total switch but this video is nice.

Thank you! Yes, it's quite hard to say "switch" these days when everyone has multiple devices like tablets and smart speakers from different brands. I think I found a decent way of keeping both. Could save even more by getting an iPhone X or something like that, but always wanted the convenience of the Mini...

You probably know that, but if you make your videos in Portuguese too, you'd be humongous in Brazil, since your production is head, shoulder and ankles above all brazilian tech channels. You're doing a great work!

@@AsifL-kv9lv the Fold is still my favourite all-rounder device and is the one I go to for entertainment like gaming, messing around with social media, etc. But the S23 Ultra is what I'm using now for everything else, including photos and videos. It's a great combo, I'd find it hard to pick just one!!

I switched a couple of years now with the z fold 3 experience and honestly because i was switching occasionally, i have to admit that nowdays android phones and mainly samsung are a lot closer (if not even better) in many apple situations. I gave my ipad to my wife since she has iphone and took the s8 tab ultra and also i use windows pc instead of mac. So, i can ensure that the transition was even easier for me, with the addition of the innovation (not always good tbh) that android is giving, i strongly believe that outside of US apple will progressively will lose the fanboys! Apple will need to pretty much start again to compete, in my opinion. They do produce amazing hardware right now, but iOS and iPAdOS are subpar to say the least. Have a great rest of the week!

Absolutely agree with you. I've switched to Samsung starting with the S21. Yes, there are things I miss with iOS, but what I gain with the S23U makes up for it. The amount of customization, the gorgeous display, and it's just more fun to use. And now, with an even better battery life, I see no reason going back to the iPhone. I'm so happy I made the switch. And as for my TabS8 Ultra, I am still in love with it after having it for a year now. I usually upgrade devices every year, but both the S23U and Tab S8U are so awesome that I want to keep them for as long as they work fine. It's officially bye-bye iOS for me 😊

Hey Alex I really like your videos. I made the permanent change back around Valentine's Day and I have no regrets. I have tried multiple launchers but honestly I really like the stock one but fully customized with Good Lock. I have apps 6 wide, custom icons which I like the stock implementation of it because then they appear anywhere an app icon would. Vertical app drawer, customized app switcher, just to name a few things. And keeping the stock launcher makes the experience more fluid and smooth also.

Great job Andreas! I think I will eventually settle on the stock launcher, I like to experiment with a few different ones but I agree with you, some of them can end up making the experience a little cluttered and slow. Loving this phone though, like you - no regrets!

Been with apple since iphone 5. Spent time with S23 ultra longer than 3 days and finally decided to give my Iphone 14 pro max to my husband. No regrets I love my S23 Ultra!

Made the move in the other direction yesterday. My older setup was an iPhone 12 mini, Z Fold 4, Samsung Watch 4 Classic LTE and Samsung Buds Pro. Moved to iPhone 14 Pro, an Apple Watch Ultra and Airpods Pro(1st Gen). (I also disconnected the other line). I miss the customizations and tuning everything just right for me, but, this setup just works for me :)

@@andrewlinesjah4538 , yeah agreed I have not seen the Fold 4 performing consistently. Sometimes, the camera would just bug out and take upwards of 15s to start. I stopped using my secondary phone to take them instead. The switch was a no brainer for me, after I missed capturing moments that I would really cherish.

Outstanding video and viewpoints. As you know as we’ve talked before I still have both but from the beginning I never tied my accounts to just Samsung or apple and google cloud and drive is just amazing because you can access it anywhere and it makes switching devices very seamless. I have small bits here and there in Samsung drive or apple drive just because of the base account but outside of that google is my go to. I love that you shared that you can download the Apple Music app and I have KZread music which is fantastic and easy to us me and for me grandfather in only cost 9.99 for KZread red which has no ads and came with KZread music so I love it. Great video my friend and keep up the hard work. I trust your channel more than any other enthusiast out there and your delivery is so genuine and you can’t put a price on that 🎉

I couldn't have said it better. I believe all technology is a relic of our existence and excellence as humans evolving. I hate it to discard any kind of technology. Although I am a samsung user I have bits and pieces of apple, even old apple devices that doesn't work just to celebrate the time and effort people took to drive their passion and make the world as we know it!

I use Dex all the time. Personally, I find iOS convoluted and inflexible. I use the Samsung S20, a 13.5 inch portable monitor, foldable keyboard and mouse. Less than 2 pounds. No need for separate devices. Apple doesn’t have a Dex equivalent because they want you to spend thousands more and buy an MacBook, iPhone and iPad.

What took me so long to switch was an app called VoiceDream Reader. I waited almost 4 years in the hope that the developer would create an Android version. Alas nope! So decided to switch anyway. In short do you know if an app that is similar to VoiceDream Reader with acapella voices that I can use to read drm free eBooks (epub). Thanks

I just want to ask one question, I am a graphic designer by profession and multitasking and photography (product specially) is part of my job, so I am confused between the camera system between iP14P/M & S23U, please help me make a decision about the same as I am planning to buy and I am still waiting for a right answer between both these devices, ecosystem is not a concern to me as I m not keen of using either watches, buds on the other hand to my experience doesn't have a huge difference, main concern is battery and camera that's it, please pull me from this dilemma. P:S. Dex is a feature which I have my eyes on, but not sure of it as all my work related apps are there in PC and they are awesome ( I made a good gear for my work 😉) Regards Lakshya

Hey Alex, this is Dan again (the Android to iOS guy).... guess what? I just can't 🤣 I mean.... I can't live without multitasking so I went back to android and got this S23 Ultra. Ecosystem is nice (got the apple watch and airpods too) but I really felt that I am being limited with IP. It took me a lot of tutorials just to customize it the way I want to, changing wallpaper took extra steps same goes with personalizing notification tones and the list goes on.... My reflexes always defaulted to the side of the screen (for side bar which I had on my previous android phone) and I keep on forgetting that IP has none. Anyways, I'm not gonna ditch my IP but surely S23U will be my primary. And now I'm just gonna watch your channel grow even more! Good luck buddy!

I just started watching your videos a couple weeks ago and let me just say you’re the most honest and truthful reviewer I’ve ever watch. Not being biased towards a brand and just keeping it real. One question for you. I currently have a iPhone 13 but would like to get back to android since iOS is just boring and buggy. Google is having a sale is the US for their pixel 7 and pixel 7 pro. Should I switch over to the pixel ecosystem or should I switch over to the Samsung ecosystem? I do like stock Android but oneui has lots of features like Samsung dex which I have used in my spare s20fe I use for cloud gaming. What would you say is the best ecosystem to go for? Appreciate your opinion! Side note I have used android before buts it’s been 5 years in the OG Pixel 4XL

I've used the Pixel 6 Pro and now have the 7 Pro which I still use for my script writing (well, dictating) but in terms of overall OS experience and as you say, multitasking with Dex the Samsung I feel will give you more of a cost benefit. The Pixel cameras are great for photos but in my experience lack a bit of quality in videos. Hope this helps ❤

Just got my s23 ultra, so far so good, the display is so good and immersive.

Hi Alex. Congrats on the vídeo, it was great. There is a replacement for AirDrop, it is Nearby Share. It is still in beta but it works good.

The samsung is a great phone with a lot of possibilities and its even known to have hairdrop...... 2 years of use and baldness is gone.....

A bit unrelated but my Z Fold 4 setup: Jabra Elite 7 Pro, ROG laptop/Samsung Smart TV, Harmon Kardon Sound system. Perks of not being stuck in an Apple ecosystem, you can get great set ups from different brands which is waaaaaay better!

Ur a such a clear and calm person. U also described so many features so clearly. And yes bro i am watching this video on my s23 ultra, watching ur video I didn't regret buying a s23 ultra. I do have iphone 13 though. But performance wise I love s23 ultra. Camera is much precise, and after all iphone is more used for status showoff as per my concern. But this time Samsung nailed it. Just got the S23 Utra, and going to switch

No need to get 1password when samsung pass is a thing. Google also has the same password saving feature as well.

Another banger Alex! We talked the other day about switching from iPhone and I said I was considering the S23U or the Fold 4. I was curious, could you confidently recommend the Pixel 7 Pro? My main thinking was because of it basically being the iPhone of Android. Or is it too far behind the S23U?

Finally a real review. Im glad I came across your channel now. Much of the reviews on YT is paid for their input and suggestions. Sick of those fake reviews. A real review and user experience. Thinking of switching. I don’t care about iMessage. Just the ease of everything.

@Big Drews that's a good question. I still have my iPhone. I went on a trip and forced myself to leave my iPhone at home. Which I did. That's how I got used to my Samsung. I had to make it work. Eventually, I will trade it in for bill credit or something. Have you moved from iOS to Samsung?

I really wanna go Samsung full go just as you did but kinda scared I’d miss iMessage lol… being able to send videos full had through iMessage is only thing I’d miss honestly.. but I’m sure that I’d get over it 🤷🏽‍♂️
