    Love your video and what you brought up. The first xperias didnt have Sony cams and the 1iii did have some issues with heat but nothing compared to the 1iv. I did check the 1v but thought it was a minor upgrade from my 1iii. I will get the 1vi very soon and im looking forward to that. The other brands seems to not have the smart battery savings when charging. So in all it should be a huge upgrade from the 1iii who is still very good and a reliable phone. Btw you should compare the speakers and go full Atmos when the content arent the same with blueray or 4K. Like you sad its compressed and raising questions. Thx for the tewieue.

    5:49, you can hear that the speaker from S24 is having a whining sound (if you are wearing a headphone) This can also be heard from 1 V and it is worse that S24. Clearly Sony major flaw from z1 till 1V has always been speaker being too whiny (due to water resistance and speaker driver issue). It has improved a lot compared to 1V

    Not a camera question. Did you intentionally use Post Malone's Circle and Fleetwood Mac's Dream as sountracks? Because Post said that Circle was inspired by the sound of Fleetwood Mac songs like Dream and Little Lies when he wrote circle 😊

    Im mostly interested in highly accurate HR detection without having to use a chest strap. Apple and Gatmin are the best we have, but I'm hoping the flood of new smart RINGS will bring ultra accurate HR readings.

    It seems like a comparison between IPHONE & SAMSUNG are similar to a verdict like xbox vs.. playstation, lol. I have never owned any IPHONE and always stuck with SAMSUNG from my very 1st samsung phone with the s5 and since have only had the s8 , then s9+ and now in 2024 just got the s21 ultra. The 21 ultra is the best phone I have ever owned.. however, with the upgrade from the s9+ to the 21 ultra, I still actually think that for the age of the s9+ It still holds up really well.

    Hello, Alex!!! In fact, I would like updates so that it could better compete with other flagships, such as the interface and perhaps its edges. From the video you could see that SONY did a good job and made the cameras easier to use, but it's still a niche product in my opinion. I'm curious to test it, but as I'm not an expert in photography and still value a more automatic experience, I imagine I wouldn't use it as my main smartphone.

  • @AlexGTech

    It's easier to use now and very friendly, but the best results come when you go into the Pro/Manual settings. Definitely a learning curve from the standard Android/iPhone models

    If it wasn't for the shitty software support I would be sold. But as a Sony Alpha user since A300 I KNOW SONY will only give us as much as they need to not to get sued. Which is a shame. S24 Ultra 1TB is 1300-1400€ here and Sony is the same - that is too expensive, when S24U will have great resale value still in 3-4y when the Sony will be a brick. I rock a Note9 yet, because it still does anything I need great. Photos aren't that great but current phones aren't exactly photo geniuses either.

  • @petergplus6667
    @petergplus6667Күн бұрын

    Errm....1TB gets you better resale value and also protects the NAND from too frequent writes because the controller has enough free estate to move the data around. So NEVER tell people they don't need more NAND space. They may not need it but are better off with it.

    Does it play Prime Video in HDR or at least with a bright screen? I found my S24 Ultra plays Prime with only half the brightness of my old Note 9 with current firmware and full tilt settings... That's ridiculous. So what's the deal with this phone?

    Sony’s update policy is still absolutely worthless; i just don’t think I’d ever spend that kind of money unless I’m getting at least 4OS updates, if not 5. Plus i don’t think the phone itself works great on verizon in the US; at least previous versions never used to. Considering their entire selling point is the camera, the camera needs to he WAY better, when in reality it’s…eh.

    I am a Sony user for the last -peobably - 10 years. I currently use bothe the Xperia 1V and the 5v as my secondary device ( in some ways it feels better). I have used Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei and iphone in between. My main camera is also a Sony mirorless, a camera that I absolutely adore. So, even though there are some valid points every phone company makes, I always thought that Sony was the phone for me. Screen brightness and camera software are welcome changes and do renew my confidence in Sony. Sorry to see the 21-9 aspect go.
