The reason your phone is vibrating when you touch it pick it up or if it's in your pocket is because stock it is set to vibrate when you pick it up or touch it from sleep turn off this feature and it will stop also saves you a very small amount of battery life let me know if you try this or if it works 🫡

Since I switched to s23 ultra from iphone 13 pro max, one big thing I noticed is how strong the cell reception and 5g speed and connectivity is compared to the iphone! In fact,there are many spots where the iphone loses signal or the signal is weak where the Samsung has not had that issue whatsoever!

agreeee forgot to mention that lol... like in the basement of my condo I get reception sometimes with the ultra... iphone never!. Also my ultra connects so much faster to my locks and automation devices.

About the random vibration - there is an option in advanced settings that your phones vibrates when you have missed message / phone call and you pick it up. Make sure to turn that off and it will stop. Found this on the web but might be different on ONEUI 5.1 Settings > Advanced Features > Motions and Gestures > Smart Alert

In one UI 5.1, it's called "Alert when phone picked up" instead of "Smart Alert".

I do find it odd to realise that I agree with 99% of your opinions about andriod and apple. Kinda felt sad about people roasting you in the previous video on samsung s23 just because you said what yoy genuinely felt like. I'm a first-time viewer of your video. Very well done, and I like that you share many of the feelings I have for Samsung Galaxy. I have been inside of Galaxy since I basically started, I came from a Windows phone that had an Android port and when they came out with a phone with a stylus I was done, because I'm a writer. Being able to ideas down and use it as a camera shutter Etc is one of my favorite features. I bought a case for my phone that carries the cards I need with me, and I was able to eliminate carrying a purse which I really like LOL. Anyway great job on your video and I'm glad you enjoy using the s23 ultra

Awesome. I think you may have picked the best time (or year) to switch since the S23 Ultra is arguably the best all-in-one gadget/smartphone right now... even better than its predecessors. Also as a programmer myself, I am actually surprised you didn't appreciate Sam/droids flexibility earlier. But at the same time, I was also not surprised you adapted so fast. Great video btw 👍👍

Dude, that car is just amazing!! Great video, I switched from iPhone because 2 of my 3 iPhones I owned were buggy, but I agree when you say Android just does so much. Also, when moving the apps to the home screen just press and hold a little longer and you won't have to drag it to the top (it will vibrate a second time and go straight to the home screen). Also, use google keyboard it is so much better and google messages has so many cool features like sorting conversations and is more visually appealing. Just some tips for the little bugs.

I love that if you loan someone your phone so they can make a phone call you can lock the dialer screen to just that screen so they won't or can't go snooping around your phone.

As a long-time Samsung user, this is a great video. For the notifications, go to settings, and you can customize which apps have sound and vibrate. 👍

Editing is getting really good and it's been awesome to see the growth. As for the random notification sounds, you might have the volume at vibrate vs mute. Try Notification Sounds > Volume and check the slider(s). There's also vibration settings in the same menu Good video as always. Hope you enjoy your android experience

I've had a note 9 since 2019 and just recently got the s23 ultra. your thumbnail made me realize I can put the apps I use most on my home screen. I NEVER knew why I didn't do that before

I really enjoyed watching this video. I really like how you put so much effort in to fully evaluating the S23 Ultra from an iPhone user's perspective. It's great that you see just how well Android and Samsung can deliver. Can I ask which Gmail alternative app you were using? I am always looking out for a decent Gmail equivalent.

there is a faster way to add apps to your home screen, tap & hold the app, and a menu will show up where "add to home screen" will be one of the options there. By the way.. Love your honesty. That is what makes your reviews awesome.

Or just hold the app for a second it will automatically "pull it out" to the home screen, and you can release it anywhere on the home screen...

I so get what you're saying about size....its why I haven't upgraded from my Note 10.....the new notes, aka Ultras, are huge. I do like both Apple and Android and they both have their goods and bads. I have a iPhone 12 I keep for those times I want to play, but I always go back to Android. Great video, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for not only your honesty, but for your work you put into the video.

Pretty sure you have your notifications reminder on that's why you don't have new notifications but the phone is reminding you that there are notifications that you haven't seen. Awesome videos love what you do so much!

Couple of things to Note. You don't have to swipe twice to see quick panel and just brightness. You can use two finger swipe from top to access the quick panel and don't have to see notifications. For keyboard, you can try Gboard which is a better keyboard experience. Samsung keyboard is also good but it needs sometime to pick your pace.

You can use one hand operation+ and set shortcuts on the edges of the phone. One of which is to access quick panel directly so you don't have do use two hands. You can also set apps to open in full or in pop-up view just by swiping on the edge of the phone. SPen works better on Samsung native keyboard and being able to set its transparency in pop-up mode is helpful (for me) esp when in games. You can also add effects to it via keys cafe. But I still use Microsoft swiftkey mostly because the full keyboard mode can be resized really small so it's easier to swype. I mostly use one hand even on ultra device because of OneUI and one hand operation+. I also got used to swype one handedly so I rarely type on keyboard.

Also, on good lock you can program edge swipes to open up the quick panel, which is what I do.

The extra vibration is like a snoozed notification that reminds you in case you didn't see it the first time. Same way how an iPhone makes 2 notification sounds when you get a test message and don't see it the first time.
