I love the fact that you used an area that would otherwise not be used for much. You have great storage there now and the roofing sheets really finish it off. Great job Keith!

Like you I can't help but pick up free timber, AND like you have too much and not enough storage. I got the De nailer a few years ago after watching 'Gid', Great tool, and it gets a lot of use. Don't worry, you be building another one in the near future for more wood that you can't turn down LOL.

You can never have too much storage for wood (similar to the old clamps saying). I’m finding myself being a bit less clingy to off cuts etc as I’m always running out of space. I’m assuming you’re storing wood in the rack that’s for outdoor use mostly and therefore ok it it gets a bit damp?

i know its too late now but 1 cup of soda crystals in 5 litre of water then scrubbed onto the wood is excellent for cleaning grime off decks and outdoor timber, leave it to dwell for about 5 to 10 mins and then rinse off.

What got me had nothing to do with the build, it was the amount of traffic on the road so close to your house. Re the build reminded me of something the "old man" & me knocked up at the allotment 40yr ago for some rafters from some old terrace houses thev were demolishing, they had that many nails in them they looked like hedgehogs, they remained there untouched for 30yrs 😅

Hey Keith. I usually watch every week, but for the last few weeks i have been in the UK visiting relitives. So its great to come back to watcg three in a row. I love the salvage stuff. Just an idea: Thos end braces could be hinged doors making it easier to get longer timber into from the end.

Great storage shelving. May it be full soon. I have some "why" questions, Why did you put the shelving on the side of the road/fence and not on the side of your house? Why didn't you make the shelving just a little bit higher, so that the roof of the shelving goes over the middle of the fence, so that rain water ends on the outside of your fence? Whiy didn´t you use the space above the wall on which the fence is put? I followed the link to the pneumatic denailing tool. The description says it is battery-operated. Is that true, or is that a mistake in the description?

I've been a bit short on free wood this year. Used to pick up loads from a local homebase, but they closed down. With it being next to the road, and the wall having those flower brick things in, would it be worth hanging some plastic sheet down the back of it to stop your stash getting water splashed up by passing traffic?
