This salted codfish (bacalhau) marinated in olive oil and vinegar (escabeche) recipe is really quick, easy and simple to make.
This codfish is bought salted and to be able to use it you will need to soak it in water 24h to 48h depending on how thick the fish is.
3 codfish steaks soaked for 24h/48h (or as much as you like to make)
1 or 2 onions
1 red pepper
4 cloves of garlic
1 cup olive oil (to taste)
1/2 cup vinegar ( to taste)
